Markuksen 10
1 Ja kuin hän sieltä läksi, tuli hän Juudan maan äärille sen maakunnan kautta, joka on sillä puolella Jordania. Ja kansa kokoontui taas hänen tykönsä, ja niinkuin hän oli tottunut, niin hän taas opetti heitä.
And he rose from thence and went into ye coostes of Iurie through the region yt is beyonde Iordan. And ye people resorted vnto him afresshe: and as he was wont he taught them agayne.
2 Ja Pharisealaiset tulivat ja kysyivät häneltä: saako mies vaimonsa hyljätä? kiusaten häntä.
And the pharises came and axed him a question: whether it were laufull for a ma to put awaye his wyfe: to prove him.
3 Mutta hän vastaten sanoi heille: mitä Moses teille käski?
And he answered and sayd vnto the: what dyd Moses byd you do?
4 He sanoivat: Moses salli kirjoittaa erokirjan ja hyljätä.
And they sayde: Moses suffred to wryte a testimoniall of devorsement and to put hyr awaye.
5 Ja Jesus vastaten sanoi heille: teidän sydämenne kovuuden tähden kirjoitti hän teille sen käskyn.
And Iesus answered and sayd vnto the: For ye hardnes of youre hertes he wrote this precept vnto you.
6 Mutta luomisen alusta on Jumala heidät luonut mieheksi ja vaimoksi.
But at the fyrste creacion God made the man and woman.
7 Sentähden pitää ihmisen eriämän isästänsä ja äidistänsä, ja pitää vaimoonsa yhdistymän.
And for this thinges sake shall ma leve his father and mother and bide by his wyfe
8 Ja niin tulevat kaksi yhdeksi lihaksi, niin ettei he ole silleen kaksi, mutta yksi liha.
and they twayne shalbe one flesshe. So then are they now not twayne but one flesshe.
9 Mitä siis Jumala on yhteen sovittanut, ei ihmisen pidä sitä eroittaman.
Therfore what God hath cuppled let not ma separat.
10 Ja hänen opetuslapsensa kysyivät taas häneltä kotona siitä asiasta.
And in the housse his disciples axed him agayne of yt matter.
11 Ja hän sanoi heille: kuka ikänä hylkää vaimonsa, ja nai toisen, se tekee huorin häntä vastaan.
And he sayde vnto them: Whosoever putteth awaye his wyfe and maryeth another breaketh wedlocke to her warde.
12 Ja jos vaimo hylkää miehensä ja huolee toiselle, hän tekee huorin.
And yf a woman forsake her husband and be maryed to another she comitteth advoutrie.
13 Ja he toivat hänen tykönsä lapsia, että hän heihin rupeais; niin opetuslapset nuhtelivat niitä, jotka heitä toivat.
And they brought chyldren to him that he should touche the. And his disciples rebuked thoose that brought the.
14 Mutta kuin Jesus sen näki, närkästyi hän ja sanoi heille: sallikaat lasten tulla minun tyköni, ja älkäät kieltäkö heitä; sillä senkaltaisten on Jumalan valtakunta.
When Iesus sawe that he was displeased and sayd to the: Suffre the chyldre to come vnto me and forbid the not. For of suche is ye kyngdome of God.
15 Totisesti sanon minä teille: jokainen, joka ei Jumalan valtakuntaa ota vastaan niinkuin lapsi, ei hän suinkaan siihen tule sisälle.
Verely I saye vnto you whosoever shall not receave ye kyngdome of God as a chylde he shall not entre therin.
16 Ja hän otti heitä syliinsä, ja pani kätensä heidän päällensä, ja siunasi heitä.
And he toke the vp in his armes and put his hondes vpon them and blessed the.
17 Ja kuin hän oli lähtenyt ulos tielle, tuli yksi juosten, lankesi polvillensa hänen eteensä ja kysyi häneltä: hyvä Mestari! mitä minun pitää tekemän, että minä ijankaikkisen elämän perisin? (aiōnios g166)
And when he was come in to the waye ther came one runninge and kneled to him and axed him: good master what shall I do that I maye enheret eternall lyfe? (aiōnios g166)
18 Niin Jesus sanoi hänelle: miksis sanot minun hyväksi? Ei kenkään ole hyvä, vaan yksin Jumala.
Iesus sayde to him: why callest thou me good? There is no ma good but one which is God.
19 Kylläs käskyt tiedät: ei sinun pidä huorin tekemän: ei sinun pidä tappaman: ei sinun pidä varastaman: ei sinun pidä väärää todistusta sanoman: ei sinun pidä pettämän: kunnioita isääs ja äitiäs.
Thou knowest the comaundementes: breake not matrimony: kyll not: steale not: bere not falce wytnes: defraude no man: honoure thy father and mother.
20 Mutta se vastasi ja sanoi hänelle: Mestari, nämä kaikki olen minä pitänyt hamasta minun nuoruudestani.
He answered and sayde to him: master all these I have observed fro my youth.
21 Mutta kuin Jesus katsahti hänen päällensä, rakasti hän häntä, ja sanoi hänelle: yksi sinulta puuttuu: mene, myy kaikki, mitä sinulla on, ja anna vaivaisille; ja sinulla pitää oleman tavara taivaassa: ja tule, seuraa minua, ottain risti.
Iesus behelde him and had a favour to him and sayde vnto him: one thynge is lackinge vnto the. Goo and sell all that thou hast and geve to the povre and thou shalt have treasure in heven and come and folowe me and take vp thy crosse.
22 Mutta hän tuli siitä puheesta murheelliseksi, ja meni pois murheissansa; sillä hänellä oli paljo tavaraa.
But he was discuforted with yt sayinge and wet awaye morninge for he had greate possessions.
23 Ja kuin Jesus katsahti ympärillensä, sanoi hän opetuslapsillensa: kuinka työläästi ne, joilla varaa on, tulevat Jumalan valtakuntaan!
And Iesus loked rounde aboute and sayde vnto his disciples: what an harde thinge is it for them that have riches to entre into the kyngdome of God.
24 Mutta opetuslapset hämmästyivät näistä hänen sanoistansa. Niin Jesus taas vastaten sanoi: rakkaat pojat! kuinkas työläs on niiden tulla Jumalan valtakuntaan, jotka tavaroihinsa uskaltavat.
And his disciples were astonneyd at his wordes. But Iesus answered agayne and sayde vnto them: chyldre how harde is it for them that trust in riches to entre in to the kyngdome of God.
25 Huokiampi on kamelin käydä neulan silmän lävitse, kuin rikkaan Jumalan valtakuntaan sisälle tulla.
It is easyer for a camell to go thorowe ye eye of an nedle then for a riche man to entre into the kyngdome of God.
26 Mutta he hämmästyivät vielä sitte sangen suuresti, sanoen keskenänsä: ja kuka taitaa autuaaksi tulla?
And they were astonnyed out of measure sayinge betwene them selves: who then can be saved?
27 Niin Jesus katsahti heidän päällensä, ja sanoi: ihmisten tykönä on se mahdotoin, mutta ei Jumalan tykönä; sillä kaikki ovat Jumalan tykönä mahdolliset.
Iesus loked vpon them and sayde: with men it is vnpossible but not with God: for with God all thynges are possible.
28 Niin Pietari rupesi sanomaan hänelle: katso, me olemme kaikki antaneet ylön, ja seuranneet sinua.
And Peter begane to saye vnto him: Lo we have forsaken all and have folowed the.
29 Mutta Jesus vastasi ja sanoi: totisesti sanon minä teille: ei ole kenkään, joka jätti huoneen, taikka veljet eli sisaret, taikka isän eli äidin, taikka vaimon eli lapset, taikka pellot, minun ja evankeliumin tähden,
Iesus answered and sayde: Verely I saye vnto you ther is no man that forsaketh housse or brethren or sisters or father or mother or wyfe other chyldren or londes for my sake and the gospelles
31 Mutta monta ensimäistä tulee jälkimäiseksi, ja jälkimäistä ensimäiseksi.
Many that are fyrst shalbe last: and the last fyrst.
32 Mutta he olivat tiellä menemässä ylös Jerusalemiin; ja Jesus kävi heidän edellänsä, ja he hämmästyivät, ja seurasivat häntä ja pelkäsivät. Ja hän otti taas ne kaksitoistakymmentä tykönsä ja rupesi heille sanomaan, mitä hänelle tapahtuva oli:
And they were in ye waye goinge vp to Ierusalem. And Iesus wet before them: and they were amased and as they folowed were affrayde. And Iesus toke ye. xii. agayne and begane to tell the what thinges shuld happe vnto him.
33 Katso, me menemme ylös Jerusalemiin, ja Ihmisen Poika annetaan ylön pappein päämiehille ja kirjanoppineille, ja he tuomitsevat hänen kuolemaan ja antavat ylön hänen pakanoille;
Beholde we goo vp to Ierusalem and the sonne of man shalbe delyvered vnto the hye preestes and vnto the Scribes: and they shall condempne him to deeth and shall delyvre him to the gentyls:
34 Ja he pilkkaavat häntä, ja pieksävät hänen, ja sylkevät hänen päällensä, ja tappavat hänen; ja kolmantena päivänä hän nousee ylös.
and they shall mocke hym and scourge him and spit vpo hym and kyll him. And the thirde daye he shall ryse agayne.
35 Niin tuli hänen tykönsä Jakob ja Johannes, Zebedeuksen pojat, sanoen: Mestari! me tahdomme, ettäs meille tekisit, mitä me anomme.
And then Iames and Iohn ye sonnes of zebede came vnto him sayinge: master we wolde that thou shuldest do for vs what soever we desyre.
36 Niin hän sanoi heille: mitä te tahdotte minua teillenne tekemään?
He sayde vnto them: what wolde ye I shuld do vnto you?
37 Vaan he sanoivat hänelle: anna toisen meistä istua oikialla ja toisen vasemmalla puolellas sinun kunniassas.
They sayd to him: graut vnto vs that we maye sitte one on thy right honde and the other on thy lyfte honde in thy glory.
38 Mutta Jesus sanoi heille: ette tiedä, mitä te anotte. Voitteko juoda sen kalkin, jonka minä juon, ja sillä kasteella kastettaa, jolla minä kastetaan?
But Iesus sayd vnto the: Ye wot not what ye axe. Can ye dryncke of the cup that I shall dryncke of and be baptised in ye baptime that I shalbe baptised in?
39 Vaan he sanoivat hänelle: voimme. Niin sanoi Jesus heille: sen kalkin tosin te juotte, jonka minä juon, ja sillä kasteella te kastetaan, jolla minä kastetaan;
And they sayde vnto him: that we can. Iesus sayde vnto them: ye shall dryncke of the cup that I shall dryncke of and be baptised with the baptyme that I shalbe baptised in:
40 Mutta istua minun oikialla ja vasemmalla puolellani, ei ole minun antamisellani, mutta niille, joille se valmistettu on.
but to sit on my right honde and on my lyfte honde ys not myne to geve but to them for whom it is prepared.
41 Ja kuin ne kymmenen sen kuulivat, rupesivat he närkästymään Jakobin ja Johanneksen tähden.
And when the. x. hearde that they bega to disdayne at Iames and Iohn.
42 Mutta kuin Jesus kutsui heidät tykönsä, sanoi hän heille: te tiedätte, että ne, jotka ovat asetetut kansain päämiehiksi, hallitsevat heitä, ja heidän ylimmäisillänsä on valta heidän ylitsensä.
But Iesus called the vnto him and sayde to them: ye knowe that they which seme to beare rule amonge the gentyls raygne as lordes over the. And they that be greate amoge them exercyse auctorite over them.
43 Mutta ei niin pidä oleman teidän keskenänne; vaan joka teidän seassanne tahtoo suurin olla, se olkaan teidän palvelianne.
So shall it not be amonge you but whosoever of you wilbe greate amoge you shalbe youre minister.
44 Ja joka teistä tahtoo tulla ensimäiseksi, hän olkaan kaikkein orja;
And whosoever wilbe chefe shalbe servaunt vnto all.
45 Sillä ei myös Ihmisen Poika ole tullut, että häntä palveltaisiin, mutta palvelemaan ja antamaan henkensä lunastuksen hinnaksi monen edestä.
For eve the sonne of man came not to be ministred vnto: but to minister and to geve his lyfe for the redempcion of many.
46 Ja he tulivat Jerikoon. Ja kuin hän läksi Jerikosta ja hänen opetuslapsensa ja paljo kansaa, niin istui tien ohessa sokia, Bartimeus Timein poika, kerjäten.
And they came to Hierico. And as he went oute of Hierico with his disciples and a greate nobre of people: Barthimeus ye sonne of Thimeus which was blinde sate by ye hye wayes syde begginge.
47 Ja kuin hän kuuli, että se oli Jesus Natsaretista, rupesi hän huutamaan ja sanomaan: Jesus, Davidin poika, armahda minua.
And when he hearde that it was Iesus of Nazareth he began to crye and to saye: Iesus the sonne of David have mercy on me.
48 Ja moni nuhteli häntä, että hän olis ollut ääneti. Mutta hän huusi paljoa enemmin: Davidin Poika, armahda minua.
And many rebuked him yt he shuld holde is peace. But he cryed the moore a greate deale thou sonne of David have mercy on me.
49 Ja Jesus seisahti ja käski kutsua häntä. Ja he kutsuivat sokian ja sanoivat hänelle: ole hyvällä mielellä, nouse! hän kutsuu sinua.
And Iesus stode still and commaunded hym to be called. And they called the blinde sayinge vnto him: Be of good conforte: ryse he calleth the.
50 Niin hän heitti pois vaatteensa yltänsä, nousi ja tuli Jesuksen tykö.
And he threwe awaye his clooke and roose and came to Iesus.
51 Ja Jesus vastaten sanoi hänelle: mitäs tahdot, että minä sinulle tekisin? Niin sokia sanoi hänelle: Rabboni, että minä saisin näköni.
And Iesus answered and sayde vnto hym: what wilt thou that I do vnto the? The blynde sayde vnto hym: master that I myght see.
52 Mutta Jesus sanoi hänelle: mene, sinun uskos vapahti sinun. Ja hän sai kohta näkönsä jälleen, ja seurasi Jesusta tiellä.
Iesus sayde vnto him: goo thy waye thy faith hath saved the. And by and by he receaved his sight and folowed Iesus in the waye.
