1 Mooseksen 50

1 Niin Joseph lankesi isänsä kasvoille, itki hänen ylitsensä, ja antoi suuta hänen.

And he fell Joseph on [the] face of father his and he wept over him and he kissed him.

2 Ja Joseph käski palvelioitansa lääkäreitä voidella isäänsä; ja lääkärit voitelivat Israelia.

And he commanded Joseph servants his the physicians to embalm father his and they embalmed the physicians Israel.

3 Ja he täyttivät hänelle neljäkymmentä päivää; sillä niin monta oli voiteluspäivää. Ja Egyptiläiset itkivät häntä seitsemänkymmentä päivää.

And they were completed for him forty day[s] for thus they were completed [the] days of the embalming and they wept for him Egypt seventy day[s].

4 Koska hänen murhepäivänsä olivat kuluneet, puhui Joseph Pharaon palvelioille, sanoen: jos minä olen armon löytänyt teidän edessänne, niin puhukaat Pharaolle, ja sanokaat:

And they passed [the] days of weeping his and he spoke Joseph to [the] household of Pharaoh saying if please I have found favor in view your speak please in [the] ears of Pharaoh saying.

5 Minun isäni vannotti minua, sanoen: katso, minä kuolen, hautaa minua minun hautaani, jonka minä olen kaivanut minulle Kanaanin maalla: niin tahtoisin minä nyt siis mennä, ja haudata minun isäni, ja palata tänne jällensä.

Father my he made swear an oath me saying here! I [am] about to die in grave my which I dug for myself in [the] land of Canaan there you will bury me and therefore let me go up please so I may bury father my and I will return.

6 Pharao sanoi hänelle: mene ja hautaa sinun isäs, niinkuin hän sinua vannottanut on.

And he said Pharaoh go up and bury father your just as he made swear you.

7 Niin Joseph meni hautaamaan isäänsä; ja hänen kanssansa menivät kaikki Pharaon palveliat, hänen huoneensa vanhimmat, ja kaikki Egyptin maan vanhimmat.

And he went up Joseph to bury father his and they went up with him all [the] servants of Pharaoh [the] elders of household his and all [the] elders of [the] land of Egypt.

8 Kaiki myös Josephin väki, ja hänen veljensä, ja hänen isänsä väki. Ainoastaan lapsensa, ja lampaansa, ja karjansa jättivät he Gosenin maalle.

And all [the] household of Joseph and brothers his and [the] household of father his only little one[s] their and sheep their and cattle their they left in [the] land of Goshen.

9 Menivät myös hänen kanssansa vaunut ja ratsasmiehet. Ja se oli sangen suuri joukko.

And it went up with him both chariotry as well as horsemen and it was the company numerous very.

10 Ja koska he tulivat Atadin riihen tykö, joka on sillä puolen Jordania, niin he pitivät siinä suuren ja katkeran valituksen; ja hän murehti isäänsä seitsemän päivää.

And they came to [the] threshing floor of Atad which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan and they lamented there a lament great and heavy very and he made for father his mourning seven days.

11 Ja koska Kanaanin maan asuvaiset näkivät heidän murheensa Atadin riihen tykönä, sanoivat he: Egyptiläiset murehtivat siellä sangen kovin. Siitä se paikka kutsutaan: Egyptiläisten valitus, joka on sillä puolella Jordania.

And he saw [the] inhabitant[s] of the land the Canaanite[s] the mourning at [the] threshing floor of Atad and they said [is] mourning heavy this for Egypt there-fore someone called name its Abel Mizraim which [is] on [the] other side of the Jordan.

12 Niin hänen lapsensa tekivät hänelle niinkuin hän oli käskenyt.

And they did sons his for him thus just as he had commanded them.

13 Ja veivät hänen Kanaanin maalle, ja hautasivat hänen Makpelan vainion luolaan, jonka Abraham vainion kanssa ostanut oli perintöhaudaksi, Ephronilta Hetiläiseltä, Mamren kohdalla.

And they carried him sons his [the] land of towards Canaan and they buried him in [the] cave of [the] field of Machpelah which he had bought Abraham the field to a possession of a burial site from with Ephron the Hittite on [the] face of Mamre.

14 Niin palasi Joseph Egyptiin, hän ja hänen veljensä, ja kaikki jotka hänen kanssansa olivat menneet hautaamaan hänen isäänsä, sitte kuin hän isänsä haudannut oli.

And he went back Joseph Egypt towards he and brothers his and all those [who] had gone up with him to bury father his after had buried he father his.

15 Mutta koska Josephin veljet näkivät isänsä kuolleeksi, sanoivat he: mitämaks, Joseph on vihaava meitä, ja kaiketi kostaa meille kaiken sen pahan, kuin me häntä vastaan tehneet olemme.

And they saw [the] brothers of Joseph that he had died father their and they said if he will bear a grudge us Joseph and certainly he will repay to us all the harm which we dealt out to him.

16 Sentähden käskivät he sanoa Josephille: sinun isäs käski ennenkuin hän kuoli, sanoen:

And they commanded to Joseph saying father your he commanded before death his saying.

17 Niin sanokaat Josephille: minä rukoilen, anna nyt veljilles anteeksi heidän rikoksensa ja pahatekonsa, että he niin pahoin ovat tehneet sinua vastaan. Anna nyt anteeksi, sinun isäs Jumalan palveliain pahateko. Mutta Joseph itki heidän näitä puhuissansa.

Thus you will say to Joseph we beg you forgive please [the] transgression of brothers your and sin their for evil they dealt out to you and now forgive please to [the] transgression of [the] servants of [the] God of father your and he wept Joseph when spoke they to him.

18 Ja hänen veljensä myös tulivat ja lankesivat maahan hänen eteensä ja sanoivat: katso, me olemme sinun palvelias.

And they went also brothers his and they fell before him and they said here we [belong] to you to slaves.

19 Joseph sanoi heille: älkäät peljätkö; sillä minä olen Jumalan käden alla.

And he said to them Joseph may not you fear that ¿ in place of God [am] I.

20 Te ajattelitte minua vastaan pahaa; mutta Jumala on ajatellut sen hyväksi, että hän tekis, niinkuin nyt nähtävä on, pelastaaksensa paljo kansaa.

And you you planned on me harm God he planned it for good so as to act as the day this to preserve alive a people numerous.

21 Älkäät siis nyt peljätkö, minä ravitsen teitä ja teidän lapsianne; ja hän rohkaisi heitä ja puheli ystävällisesti heidän kanssansa.

And therefore may not you fear I I will provide for you and little one[s] your and he comforted them and he spoke to heart their.

22 Ja niin asui Joseph Egyptissä, hän ja hänen isänsä huone; ja Joseph eli sata ja kymmenen ajastaikaa,

And he remained Joseph in Egypt he and [the] household of father his and he lived Joseph one hundred and ten years.

23 Ja näki Ephraimin lapset kolmanteen polveen, niin myös Makirin Manassen pojan lapset, kasvatetut Josephin polven juuressa.

And he saw Joseph of Ephraim sons of a third generation also [the] sons of Makir [the] son of Manasseh they were born on [the] knees of Joseph.

24 Joseph sanoi veljillensä: minä kuolen, ja Jumala on totisesti etsivä teitä, ja vie teidän tältä maalta siihen maahan, jonka hän on itse vannonut Abrahamille, Isaakille ja Jakobille.

And he said Joseph to brothers his I [am] about to die and God certainly he will visit you and he will bring up you from the land this to the land which he swore to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob.

25 Niin vannotti Joseph Israelin lapsia, sanoen: Jumala on totisesti teitä etsivä, viekäät pois minun luuni täältä.

And he made to swear an oath Joseph [the] sons of Israel saying certainly he will visit God you and you will bring up bones my from here.

26 Ja niin Joseph kuoli sadan ja kymmenen ajastaikaisena, ja he voitelivat hänen, ja panivat arkkuun Egyptissä.

And he died Joseph a son of one hundred and ten years and people embalmed him and he was put in the coffin in Egypt.
