1 Mooseksen 25
1 Ja Abraham taas otti emännän nimeltä Ketura.
And he repeated Abraham and he took a wife and name her [was] Keturah.
2 Hän synnytti hänelle Simran ja Joksan, ja Medan ja Midian, ja Jesbakin ja Suan.
And she bore to him Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah.
3 Mutta Joksan siitti Seban ja Dedanin. Dedanin lapset olivat: Asserim, Letusin ja Luumim.
And Jokshan he fathered Sheba and Dedan and [the] sons of Dedan they were Asshurites and Letushites and Leummites.
4 Midianin lapset olivat: Epha, Epher, Hanok, Abida, ja Eldaa: nämät kaikki ovat Keturan pojat.
And [the] sons of Midian [were] Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah all these [were] [the] sons of Keturah.
5 Ja Abraham antoi kaikki mitä hänellä oli Iisakille.
And he gave Abraham all that [belonged] to him to Isaac.
6 Mutta niille lapsille, jotka jalkavaimoista olivat, antoi hän lahjoja, ja lähetti heidät pois poikansa Isaakin tyköä, vielä eläissänsä, idän puoleen, itäiselle maalle.
And to [the] sons of the concubines who [belonged] to Abraham he gave Abraham gifts and he sent away them from with Isaac son his while still [was] he alive east-ward to [the] land of [the] east.
7 Ja tämä on Abrahamin elinaika, kuin hän eli: sata ja viisikahdeksattakymmentä ajastaikaa.
And these [are] [the] days of [the] years of [the] life of Abraham which he lived one hundred year[s] and seventy year[s] and five years.
8 Ja hän tuli riutuneeksi, ja kuoli levollisassa ijässä, vanhana ja elämästä kyllänsä saanut: ja koottiin kansansa tykö.
And he expired and he died Abraham in old age good old and satisfied and he was gathered to kinspeople his.
9 Ja hänen poikansa Isaak ja Ismael hautasivat hänen Makpelan luolaan: Ephronin Hetiläisen Zoarin pojan vainiossa, Mamren kohdalle:
And they buried him Isaac and Ishmael sons his into [the] cave of Machpelah to [the] field of Ephron [the] son of Zohar the Hittite which [is] on [the] face of Mamre.
10 Sille kedolle, jonka Abraham oli ostanut Hetin lapsilta: siihen on Abraham haudattu, ja Saara hänen emäntänsä.
The field which he had acquired Abraham from with [the] sons of Heth there he was buried Abraham and Sarah wife his.
11 Ja Abrahamin kuoleman jälkeen siunasi Jumala hänen poikansa Isaakin: Ja Isaak asui sen elävän, joka minun näkee, kaivon tykönä.
And it was after [the] death of Abraham and he blessed God Isaac son his and he dwelt Isaac near Beer Lahai Roi.
12 Mutta nämät ovat Ismaelin Abrahamin pojan sukukunnat, jonka Hagar Egyptiläinen Saaran piika synnytti.
And these [are] [the] accounts of Ishmael [the] son of Abraham whom she bore Hagar the Egyptian [the] maidservant of Sarah to Abraham.
13 Ja nämä ovat Ismaelin poikain nimet, heidän nimeinsä ja sukukuntainsa jälkeen: Ismaelin esikoinen oli Nebaot, Kedar, Abdeel, Mibsam,
And these [are] [the] names of [the] sons of Ishmael by names their to descendants their [the] firstborn of Ishmael [was] Nebaioth and Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam.
14 Misma, Duma, Masa,
And Mishma and Dumah and Massa.
15 Hadar, Tema, Jetur, Naphis ja Kedma.
(Hadad *LA(BH)*) and Tema Jetur Naphish and Kedemah.
16 Nämät ovat Ismaelin lapset, ja nämät heidän nimensä, heidän kylissänsä ja kaupungeissansa: kaksitoistakymmentä ruhtinasta heidän kansoissansa.
These they [were] [the] sons of Ishmael and these [are] names their by villages their and by encampments their two [plus] ten princes to tribes their.
17 Ja tämä on Ismaelin ikä: sata ja seitsemänneljättäkymmentä ajastaikaa: ja hän tuli riutuneeksi, ja kuoli, ja koottiin kansansa tykö.
And these [are] [the] years of [the] life of Ishmael one hundred year[s] and thirty year[s] and seven years and he expired and he died and he was gathered to kinspeople his.
18 Mutta he asuivat Hevilasta hamaan Surriin asti, joka on Egyptin kohdalla Assyriaan mentäissä. Kaikkein hänen veljeinsä kohdalle lankesi (hänen arpansa).
And they dwelt from Havilah to Shur which [is] on [the] face of Egypt going you Asshur towards on [the] face of all relatives his he fell.
19 Ja nämät ovat Isaakin Abrahamin pojan sukukunnat: Abraham siitti Isaakin.
And these [are] [the] accounts of Isaac [the] son of Abraham Abraham he fathered Isaac.
20 Ja Isaak oli neljänkymmenen ajastaikainen, koska hän otti Rebekan Betuelin Syrialaisen tyttären Mesopotamiasta, Labanin syrialaisen sisaren, itsellensä emännäksi.
And he was Isaac a son of forty year[s] when took he Rebekah [the] daughter of Bethuel the Aramean from Paddan Aram [the] sister of Laban the Aramean for himself to a wife.
21 Ja Isaak rukoili Herraa emäntänsä edestä; sillä hän oli hedelmätöin, ja Herra kuuli häntä: niin Rebekka hänen emäntänsä tuli raskaaksi.
And he prayed Isaac to Yahweh to before wife his for [was] barren she and he was entreated by him Yahweh and she conceived Rebekah wife his.
22 Ja lapset sysäsivät toinen toistansa hänen kohdussansa. Niin hän sanoi: jos näin piti käymän, miksi minä olen (raskaaksi tullut?) ja meni kysymään Herralta.
And they struggled together the children in inward part[s] her and she said if thus why? this [am] I and she went to consult Yahweh.
23 Ja Herra sanoi hänelle: kaksi kansaa ovat sinun kohdussas, ja kahtalainen väki erkanee sinun ruumiistas: mutta toinen kansa voittaa toisen, ja suurempi palvelee vähempää.
And he said Yahweh to her two (nations *Q(k)*) [are] in womb your and two peoples from inward parts your they will separate and a people more than a people it will be strong and [the] great [one] it will serve [the] young [one].
24 Koska aika tuli synnyttää; katso, kaksoiset olivat hänen kohdussansa.
And they were completed days her to give birth and there! twins [were] in womb her.
25 Ensimäinen joka tuli ulos, oli ruskia ja karvainen niinkuin vaate: sentähden kutsuivat he hänen nimensä Esau.
And he came out the first red all of him [was] like a cloak of hair and they called name his Esau.
26 Senjälkeen tuli ulos hänen veljensä, joka piti kädellänsä Esaun kantapäästä, ja se kutsuivat hänen nimensä Jakob. Kuudenkymmenen ajastaikainen oli Isaak heidän syntyissänsä.
And after thus he came out brother his and hand his [was] holding on [the] heel of Esau and he called name his Jacob and Isaac [was] a son of sixty year[s] when fathered them.
27 Ja poikaiset kasvoivat, ja Esau tuli jaloksi metsä- ja peltomieheksi. Mutta Jakob oli yksivakainen mies, ja asui majoissa.
And they grew up the lads and he was Esau a man [who] knew hunting a man of [the] open country and Jacob [was] a man quiet [who] dwelt tents.
28 Ja Isaak rakasti Esauta; sillä hän söi mielellänsä hänen metsäsaalistansa. Mutta Rebekka rakasti Jakobia.
And he loved Isaac Esau for wild game [was] in mouth his and Rebekah [was] loving Jacob.
29 Koska Jakob oli keittänyt herkun, tuli Esau metsästä, ja oli väsyksissä.
And he had cooked Jacob cooked food and he came Esau from the field and he [was] exhausted.
30 Ja Esau sanoi Jakobille: anna minun syödä tästä ruskiasta herkusta: sillä minä olen väsyksissä. Sentähden kutsutaan hänen nimensä Edom.
And he said Esau to Jacob let swallow me please some of the red [stew] the red [stew] this for [am] exhausted I there-fore someone called name his Edom.
31 Mutta Jakob sanoi: myy minulle tänäpänä sinun esikoisuutes.
And he said Jacob sell! as the day birthright your to me.
32 Esau vastasi: katso, minä kuolen kuitenkin; mitä minun esikoisuudesta on?
And he said Esau here! I [am] going to die and for what? this to me [is] a birthright.
33 Ja Jakob sanoi: niin vanno minulle tänäpänä: ja hän vannoi hänelle, ja myi Jakobille esikoisuutensa.
And he said Jacob swear! to me as the day and he swore to him and he sold birthright his to Jacob.
34 Niin Jakob antoi Esaulle leivän, ja sen ruskian herneherkun, ja hän söi ja joi, ja nousi ja meni pois. Ja niin Esau katsoi esikoisuutensa ylön.
And Jacob he gave to Esau bread and cooked food of lentils and he ate and he drank and he arose and he went and he despised Esau the birthright.
