Hesekielin 17
1 Ja Herran sana tapahtui minulle ja sanoi:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 Sinä ihmisen poika, anna Israelin huoneelle tapaus ja juttele vertaus,
O son of humankind ask a riddle a riddle and speak a parable a parable concerning [the] house of Israel.
3 Ja sano: näin sanoo Herra, Herra: suuri kotka suurella lennolla ja pitkillä siivillä ja täynnä sulkia, jotka olivat kirjavat, tuli Libanonin päälle, ja otti sedripuun latvan.
And you will say thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh the eagle great great of wings long of pinion full plumage which [belonged] to it variegated plumage it came to Lebanon and it took [the] treetop of the cedar.
4 Ja mursi pois sen pienten vesain latvan, ja vei sen kauppamaahan, ja pani sen kauppamiesten kaupunkiin.
[the] top Shoots its it plucked off and it brought it to a land of merchant[s] in a city of traders it placed it.
5 Ja otti myös siemeniä siitä maakunnasta ja kylvi ne hyvään peltoon, ja asetti siihen, kussa paljo vettä läsnä oli, ja istutti sen taitavasti.
And it took one of [the] seed of the land and it put it in a field of seed take [it] at waters many a willow it placed it.
6 Ja se kasvoi ja tuli avaraksi viinapuuksi, vaan matalaksi varreltansa, sillä oksat taittivat itsensä siihen päin, ja olivat juuret sen alla; ja se tuli jaloksi viinapuuksi, ja kasvoi oksat, ja putkautti itsestänsä vesat.
And it sprouted and it became a vine spreading low of stature to turn branches its to it and roots its under it they were and it became a vine and it produced shoots and it sent out boughs.
7 Ja siellä oli toinen suuri kotka, jolla olivat isot siivet ja paljo sulkia, ja katso, tämä viinapuu sovitti juurensa hänen puoleensa, ja ojensi oksansa hänen puoleensa, että sen piti kastetuksi tuleman hänen ojistansa.
And it was an eagle one great great of wings and great of plumage and there! the vine this it bent roots its on it and branches its it sent out to it to water it from [the] beds of planting its.
8 Ja oli kuitenkin hyvällä maalla paljon veden tykönä istutettu, niin että se kyllä sai kasvaa oksia, hedelmää kantaa ja suureksi viinapuuksi tulla.
To a field good to waters many it [was] planted to produce branch[es] and to bear fruit to become a vine of splendor.
9 Niin sano nyt: näin sanoo Herra, Herra: pitäisikö sen menestymän? eikö sen juuret pidä reväistämän ylös, ja sen hedelmät varistettaman, että se kuivettuis? sen pitää kuivettuman kaikissa vesoissansa, ja ei suuren käsivarren, taikka paljon kansan kautta, juurinensa revittämän ylös.
Say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh will it prosper? ¿ not roots its will it pull up and fruit its - will it strip off? and it will wither all [the] fresh [things] of growth its it will wither and not by an arm great and by a people numerous to lift up it from roots its.
10 Katso, se on istutettu; vaan pitäiskö sen menestymän? ja niin pian kuin siihen tulee itätuuli, niin pitää sen kuivettuman paikkoinensa.
And there! [it is] planted ¿ will it prosper ¿ not when touches it [the] wind of the east will it wither completely on [the] beds of growth its it will wither.
11 Ja Herran sana tapahtui minulle ja sanoi:
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
12 Sanos tälle kovakorvaiselle huoneelle: ettekö te tiedä, mikä tämä on? ja sano: katso, Babelin kuningas tuli Jerusalemiin, ja otti hänen kuninkaansa ja päämiehensä, ja vei heidät tykönsä Babeliin.
Say please to [the] house of rebellion ¿ not do you know what? [are] these [things] say there! he went [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and he took king its and princes its and he brought them to himself Babylon towards.
13 Ja otti yhden kuninkaallisesta siemenestä, ja teki liiton hänen kanssansa, ja otti valan häneltä; mutta ne jalot maakunnassa otti hän pois.
And he took one of [the] offspring of royalty and he made with him a covenant and he made go him in an oath and [the] leaders of the land he took.
14 Että valtakunta piti nöyryytetyksi tuleman, ja ei itsiänsä paisuttaman, että liitto piti pidettämän ja seisovainen oleman.
To be a kingdom lowly to not to exalt itself to keep covenant his to continue it.
15 Mutta se luopui hänestä, ja lähetti käskyläisensä Egyptiin, että hänelle piti lähettämän hevosia ja paljon väkeä; pitäiskö se menestymän hänelle? taikka pitäiskö hänen hyvin siitä pääsemän, joka senkaltaista tekee? ja se kuin liiton särkee, pitäiskö sen pääsemän?
And he rebelled against him by sending messengers his Egypt to give to him horses and a people numerous ¿ will he prosper ¿ will he escape the [one who] does these [things] and will he break? a covenant and will he escape?
16 Niin totta kuin minä elän, sanoo Herra, Herra: sen kuninkaan paikassa, joka hänen kuninkaaksi asetti, jonka valan hän katsoi ylön, ja jonka liiton hän särki, siellä hänen pitää kuoleman Babelissa.
[by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not in [the] place of the king who made king him whom he despised oath his and whom he broke covenant his with him in [the] midst of Babylon he will die.
17 Ja Pharaon ei pidä seisovaisen oleman häntä auttaissansa sodassa, sotajoukolla ja paljolla väellä, koska vallit pantaman ylös ja multaseinät rakennettaman pitää, että monta sielua surmattaisiin.
And not with an army large and with a company great he will do with him Pharaoh in battle when pour out a mound and when build a siege-wall to cut off lives many.
18 Sillä hän on katsonut valan ylön, ja särkenyt liiton; katso, että hän on kätensä ojentanut, ja kaikkia näitä tekee, niin ei hänen pidä pääsemän.
And he despised [the] oath by breaking [the] covenant and there! he had given hand his and all these [things] he did not he will escape.
19 Sentähden sanoo Herra, Herra näin: niin totta kuin minä elän, tahdon minä valani, jonka hän on katsonut ylön, ja liittoni, jonka hän särkenyt on, antaa tulla hänen päänsä päälle.
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not oath my which he despised and covenant my which he broke and I will requite it on own head his.
20 Sillä minä tahdon heittää verkkoni hänen päällensä, ja hän pitää minun pyydyksilläni otettaman kiinni; ja minä tahdon antaa hänen vietää Babeliin, ja tahdon siellä olla oikeudella hänen kanssansa, että hän niin itsensä on asettanut minua vastaan.
And I will spread over him net my and he will be caught in hunting net my and I will bring him Babylon towards and I will enter into judgment with him there unfaithfulness his which he has acted unfaithfully against me.
21 Ja kaikki, jotka pakenevat ja hänen puoltansa pitävät, pitää miekalla lankeeman, ja ne, jotka heistä pääsevät, pitää kaikkiin tuuliin hajoitetuiksi tuleman; ja teidän pitää ymmärtämän, että minä Herra olen tämän puhunut.
And all (fugitives his *Q(K)*) among all troops his by the sword they will fall and the [ones who] survive to every wind they will be scattered and you will know that I Yahweh I have spoken.
22 Näin sanoo Herra, Herra: minä tahdon myös ottaa korkian sedrin latvasta, ja murtaa nuorten vesain latvan, ja minä tahdon istuttaa sen korkialle vuorelle.
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will take I from [the] treetop of the cedar high and I will place [it] from [the] top of young shoots its a tender [shoot] I will pluck off and I will plant [it] I on a mountain high and lofty.
23 Minä tahdon sen korkialle Israelin vuorelle istuttaa, että sen pitää oksia saaman, ja hedelmän kantaman, ja suureksi sedripuuksi tuleman: niin että kaikkinaiset linnut pitää taitaman asua hänen allansa, ja hänen oksainsa varjon alla lepäämän.
On [the] mountain of [the] height of Israel I will plant it and it will bear branch[es] and it will produce fruit and it will become a cedar majestic and they will dwell under it every bird every wing in [the] shadow of branches its they will dwell.
24 Ja kaikki puut maan päällä pitää tietämän, että minä Herra olen korkian puun alentanut, ja matalan puun ylentänyt, ja viheriäisen puun kuivannut, ja kuivan puun viheriäiseksi tehnyt; minä Herra sen puhun, ja teen sen myös.
And they will know all [the] trees of the field that I Yahweh I bring low - a tree tall I raise up a tree low I make dry a tree moist and I make sprout a tree dry I Yahweh I have spoken and I will act.
