1 Kuin tulet siihen maahan jonka Herra sinun Jumalas sinulle perinnöksi antaa, ja sinä sen omistat, ja asut siinä,
And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;
2 Niin ota kaikkinaisista sinun maas kasvuista ensimäiset hedelmät, jotka maasta kasvavat, jotka Herra sinun Jumalas sinulle antaa, pane ne koriin, ja mene siihen siaan, jonka Herra sinun Jumalas valitsee nimensä asumasiaksi,
That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that YHWH thy Elohim giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which YHWH thy Elohim shall choose to place his name there.
3 Ja mene papin tykö, joka siihen aikaan on, ja sano hänelle: minä tunnustan tänäpänä Herran sinun Jumalas edessä, että minä olen tullut siihen maahan, jonka Herra meidän isillemme vannoi, meille antaaksensa.
And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto YHWH thy Elohim, that I am come unto the country which YHWH sware unto our fathers for to give us.
4 Ja pappi ottakoon korin kädestäs ja laskekaan sen maahan, Herran sinun Jumalas alttarin eteen.
And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of YHWH thy Elohim.
5 Niin lausu sinä, ja sano Herran sinun Jumalas edessä: minun raadollinen isäni oli Syrialainen, ja meni Egyptiin vähällä joukolla, ja oli siellä muukalainen, ja hän tuli siellä suureksi, väkeväksi ja monilukuiseksi kansaksi.
And thou shalt speak and say before YHWH thy Elohim, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:
6 Mutta Egyptiläiset ahdistivat ja vaivasivat meitä, ja panivat kovan orjuuden meidän päällemme.
And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
7 Niin me huusimme Herran meidän isäimme Jumalan tykö, ja Herra kuuli meidän äänemme, ja katsoi meidän tuskaamme, työtämme ja ahdistustamme.
And when we cried unto YHWH Elohim of our fathers, YHWH heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:
8 Ja Herra vei meidät ulos Egyptistä voimallisella kädellä, ja ojennetulla käsivarrella, suurella peljästyksellä, merkeillä ja ihmeillä.
And YHWH brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
9 Ja johdatti meidät tähän paikkaan ja antoi meille tämän maan, maan, joka rieskaa ja hunajaa vuotaa.
And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.
10 Ja nyt katso, minä kannan tässä maan ensimäisiä hedelmiä, jonka sinä Herra minulle annoit. Ja niin pane ne Herran sinun Jumalas eteen, ja kumarra Herran sinun Jumalas edessä,
And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O YHWH, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before YHWH thy Elohim, and worship before YHWH thy Elohim:
11 Ja ole iloinen kaikesta hyvyydestä, minkä Herra sinun Jumalas sinulle antoi, ja sinun huoneelles: sinä ja Leviläinen ja muukalainen, joka sinun keskelläs on.
And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which YHWH thy Elohim hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.
12 Kuin olet koonnut kaikki kymmenykset sinun vuotes kasvusta kolmantena vuonna, joka on kymmenysten vuosi, niin anna Leviläisille, muukalaisille, orvoille ja leskille, että he söisivät sinun porteissas ja ravittaisiin,
When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;
13 Ja sano Herran sinun Jumalas edessä: minä olen tuonut huoneestani sen, mikä pyhitetty on, ja annoin Leviläisille, muukalaisille, orvoille ja leskille, kaiken sinun käskys jälkeen jonka olet minulle käskenyt: en minä harhaillut sinun käskyistäs, enkä niitä unhottanut.
Then thou shalt say before YHWH thy Elohim, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them.
14 En minä siitä ole syönyt minun surussani, enkä ottanut siitä saastaisuudesta, en myös niistä mitään antanut kuolleille: minä olen ollut Herran minun Jumalani äänelle kuuliainen, ja tehnyt kaiken sen jälkeen, minkä sinä minulle käskenyt olet.
I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of YHWH my Elohim, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.
15 Katsahda tänne pyhästä asumasiastas taivaasta, ja siunaa sinun kansaas Israelia ja maata, jonka sinä meille antanut olet, niinkuin sinä vannoit isillemme, maata, joka rieskaa ja hunajaa vuotaa.
Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
16 Tänäpänä Herra sinun Jumalas käskee sinua tekemään näiden säätyin ja oikeutten jälkeen, niin ettäs pidät ne ja teet niiden jälkeen kaikesta sydämestäs ja kaikesta sielustas.
This day YHWH thy Elohim hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.
17 Herran edessä olet sinä sen luvannut tänäpänä, että hän pitää oleman sinun Jumalas, ja sinä tahdot vaeltaa hänen teissänsä, ja pitää hänen säätynsä, käskynsä ja oikeutensa, ja olla kuuliainen hänen äänellensä.
Thou hast avouched YHWH this day to be thy Elohim, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:
18 Ja Herra on sinulle tänäpänä luvannut, että sinun pitää oleman hänen kansansa, niinkuin hän sinulle on puhunut, että sinun pitää kaikki hänen käskynsä pitämän.
And YHWH hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;
19 Ja hän korottaa sinua kaikkein kansain ylitse, minkä hän tekee ylistykseksi, kiitokseksi ja kunniaksi, ettäs olisit Herralle sinun Jumalalles pyhä kansa, niinkuin hän sanonut on.
And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto YHWH thy Elohim, as he hath spoken.
