1 Ja kuin Rehabeamin valtakunta tuettu ja hän vahvistettu oli, hylkäsi hän Herran lain, ja kaikki Israel hänen kanssansa.

6 Niin Israelin ylimmäiset nöyryyttivät itsensä kuninkaan kanssa ja sanoivat: Herra on vanhurskas.
