1 Korinttilaisille 3
1 Ja, rakkaat veljet! en minä taitanut teille puhua niinkuin hengellisille, vaan niinkuin lihallisille, niinkuin lapsille Kristuksessa.
And I coulde not speake vnto you brethre as vnto spretuall: but as vnto carnall even as it were vnto babes in Christ.
2 Rieskaa minä olen teille juoda antanut, ja en ruokaa; sillä ette sitä vielä voineet, ja ette vielä nytkään voi.
I gave you mylke to drinke and not meate. For ye then were not stronge no nether yet are.
3 Sillä te olette vielä lihalliset, sillä niinkauvan kuin teidän seassanne kateus ja riita ja eripuraisuus on, ettekö te ole lihalliset ja vaella ihmisten tavan jälkeen?
For ye are yet carnall. As longe verely as ther is amoge you envyige stryfe and dissencio: are ye not carnall and walke after ye manner of me?
4 Sillä koska joku sanoo: minä olen Paavalin, ja toinen: minä Apollon: ettekö te siis ole lihalliset?
As loge as one sayth I holde of Paul and another I am of Apollo are ye not carnall?
5 Mitäs Paavali on ja mikä Apollo muuta kuin palveliat, joiden kautta te olette uskoneet, ja niinkuin Jumala kullekin antanut on?
What is Paul? What thinge is Apollo? Only miministers are they by who ye beleved even as the Lorde gave every ma grace.
6 Minä olen istuttanut, Apollo on kastanut mutta Jumala on kasvun antanut.
I have planted: Apollo watred: but god gave increace.
7 Niin ei se mitään ole, joka istuttaa, eikä se, joka kastaa, vaan Jumala, joka kasvun on antaa.
So then nether is he that planteth eny thinge nether he yt watreth: but god which gave the increace.
8 Mutta se, joka istuttaa, ja se, joka kastaa, ovat yhtä: kumpikin saa palkkansa työnsä jälkeen.
He that planteth and he that watreth are nether better then the other. Every man yet shall receave his rewarde accordynge to his laboure.
9 Sillä me olemme Jumalan apulaiset: te olette Jumalan pelto ja Jumalan rakennus.
We are goddis labourers ye are goddis husbandrye ye are goddis byldynge.
10 Sen Jumalan armon jälkeen, joka minulle annettu on, olen minä perustuksen laskenut, niinkuin taitava rakentaja, vaan toinen sen päälle rakentaa; mutta katsokaan jokainen, kuinka hän sen päälle rakentaa.
Accordynge to the grace of god geven vnto me as a wyse bylder have I layde the foundacio And another bylt thero But let every ma take hede how he bildeth apo.
11 Sillä muuta perustusta, ei taida yksikään panna, vaan sen, joka pantu on, joka on Jesus Kristus.
For other foundacion can no man laye then yt which is layde which is Iesus Christ.
12 Jos nyt joku rakentaa tämän perustuksen päälle kultaa, hopiaa, kalliita kiviä, puita, heiniä, olkia:
Yf eny man bilde on this foundacion golde silver precious stones tymber haye or stoble:
13 Jokainen teko tulee julkiseksi; sillä se päivä sen on selittävä, joka tulessa ilmaantuu: ja minkäkaltainen kunkin teko on, sen tuli koettelee.
every mannes worke shall appere. For the daye shall declare it and it shalbe shewed in fyre. And ye fyre shall trye euery mannes worke what it is.
14 Jos jonkun teko pysyy, jonka hän sen päälle rakentanut on, niin hän saa palkan:
Yf eny mannes worke yt he hath bylt apon byde he shall receave a rewarde.
15 Jos jonkun teko palaa, niin hän saa vahingon; mutta hän tulee itse autuaaksi, kuitenkin niinkuin tulen kautta.
If eny manes worke burne he shall suffre losse: but he shalbe safe him selfe: neverthelesse yet as it were thorow fyre.
16 Ettekö te tiedä teitänne Jumalan templiksi, ja että Jumalan Henki asuu teissä?
Are ye not ware that ye are the temple of god and how that the sprete of god dwelleth in you?
17 Jos joku Jumalan templin turmelee, sen Jumala turmelee; sillä Jumalan templi on pyhä, niinkuin tekin olette.
Yf eny man defyle the temple of god him shall god destroye. For the temple of god is holy which temple ye are.
18 Älkään kenkään itseänsä pettäkö: jos joku teistä luulee itsensä viisaaksi tässä maailmassa, se tulkoon tyhmäksi, että hän viisaaksi tulis. (aiōn g165)
Let no man deceave him silfe. Yf eny man seme wyse amonge you let him be a fole in this worlde that he maye be wyse. (aiōn g165)
19 Sillä tämän maailman viisaus on hulluus Jumalan tykönä. Sillä kirjoitettu on: hän käsittää taitavat heidän kavaluudessansa,
For ye wisdome of this worlde is folysshnes with god. For it is writte: he compaseth the wyse in their craftynes.
20 Ja taas: Herra tietää viisasten ajatukset, että ne turhat ovat.
And agayne God knoweth the thoughtes of the wyse that they be vayne.
21 Sentähden älkään yksikään ihmisistä kerskatko; sillä kaikki ovat teidän omanne:
Therfore let no ma reioyce in men. For all thinges are youres
22 Joko se olis Paavali eli Apollo, eli Kephas, taikka maailma, eli elämä, eli kuolema, taikka nykyiset eli tulevaiset: kaikki ovat teidän,
whether it be Paul other Apollo other Cephas: whether it be ye worlde other lyfe other deeth whether they be present thinges or thinges to come: all are youres
23 Mutta te olette Kristuksen, vaan Kristus on Jumalan.
and ye are Christes and Christ is goddis.
