< Zekaria 3 >
And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.
2 Yehowa gblɔ na Satana be, “Yehowa ka mo na wò, Satana! Yehowa, ame si tia Yerusalem la ka mo na wò! Ɖe ame sia mele abe dzoti bibi si woɖe le dzo me la ene oa?”
And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan; yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
3 Azɔ Yosua le awu ƒoɖiwo me le tsitre ɖe mawudɔla la gbɔ.
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
4 Mawudɔla la gblɔ na ame siwo nɔ tsitre ɖe afi ma la be, “Miɖe awu ƒoɖi sia le eŋuti.” Etrɔ ɖe Yosua gbɔ gblɔ nɛ be, “Kpɔ ɖa, meɖe wò nu vɔ̃wo ɖa, eye azɔ la, mele awu yeye nyui siawo dom na wò.”
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take the filthy garments from off him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with rich apparel.
5 Tete megblɔ be, “Mitsɔ tablanu dzadzɛ bla ta nɛ.” Ale wotsɔ tablanu dzadzɛ bla ta nɛ, eye wotsɔ awu do nɛ esi Yehowa ƒe dɔla la nɔ tsitre.
And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments; and the angel of the LORD stood by.
6 Yehowa ƒe dɔla la de se sia na Yosua,
And the angel of the LORD protested unto Joshua, saying,
7 “Ale Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la gblɔe nye esi: ‘Ne àzɔ le nye mɔwo dzi, alé nye ɖoɖowo me ɖe asi la, ekema maɖo wò nye gbedoxɔ nu, ànye nye aƒedzikpɔla, eye mana nɔƒe wò ɖe ame siwo le tsitre ɖe afi sia la dome.
Thus saith the LORD of hosts: If thou wilt walk in my ways, and if thou wilt keep my charge, then thou also shalt judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee a place of access among these that stand by.
8 “‘Miɖo to, O nunɔlagã Yosua kple wò kpeɖeŋutɔ siwo nɔ anyi ɖe ŋgɔwò, ame siwo nye nu siwo ava va eme la ƒe dzesi. Meyi makplɔ nye dɔla Atilɔ la vɛ.
Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee; for they are men which are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
9 Kpɔ kpe si metsɔ ɖo Yosua ŋkume la ɖa! Ŋku adre li na kpe ɖeka sia. Maŋlɔ nu ɖe kpe la dzi, eye maɖe anyigba sia ƒe nu vɔ̃ ɖa le ŋkeke ɖeka me,’ Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae gblɔe.
For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; upon one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall ye call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
