< Zekaria 2 >

1 Esi mefɔ kɔ dzi la, mekpɔ ŋutsu aɖe wòlé nudzidzeka ɖe asi.
And I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold, there was a man with a measure-cord in his hand.
2 Mebiae be, “Afi ka yim nèle?” Eɖo eŋu be, “Meyina be madzidze Yerusalem, ne makpɔ eƒe kekeme kple eƒe didime.”
Then said I, Whither art thou going? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is her breadth, and what is her length.
3 Mawudɔla si nɔ nu ƒom kplim la dzo le gbɔnye, eye mawudɔla bubu zɔ va kpee.
And, behold, the angel that spoke with me went out, and another angel came out to meet him;
4 Mawudɔla si zɔ va kpee la gblɔ nɛ be, “Ƒu du nàgblɔ na ɖekakpui sia be, ŋkeke li gbɔna esi amewo ayɔ Yerusalem ale gbegbe be womakpɔ nɔƒe na ame sia ame kple woƒe lãhawo o.
And he said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Without walls shall Jerusalem be inhabited because of the multitude of men and cattle in her midst.
5 Nye ŋutɔ manye dzo bibi ƒe gli aƒo xlã wo, eye manye eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe.” Yehowae gblɔe.
But I—I will be unto her, saith the Lord, a wall of fire round about, and for glory will I be in the midst of her.
6 “‘Miva! Miva! Misi tso anyiehenyigba dzi,’ Yehowae gblɔe, elabena mekaka mi de dziƒowo ƒe ya eneawo katã dzi!” Yehowae gblɔe.
Up! up! and flee away from the land of the north saith the Lord; for as the four winds of the heaven have I spread you abroad, saith the Lord.
7 “Va, O Zion! Si, wò ame si li kple Babilon vinyɔnu!”
Up, Zion, escape, thou that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
For thus hath said the Lord of hosts, For the sake of [your] glory hath he sent me unto the nations that have despoiled you; for whoever toucheth you, toucheth the apple of his eye.
9 Nye la, makɔ nye asi dzi ɖe wo ŋuti kokoko, ale woƒe kluviwo aha wo. Ekema mianyae be Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae dɔm.
For, behold, I will swing my hand over them, and they shall be a spoil to those that served them: and ye shall acknowledge that the Lord of hosts hath sent me.
10 “O, Zion vinyɔnu, tso aseye nàkpɔ dzidzɔ, elabena megbɔna be manɔ dowòme.” Yehowae gblɔe.
Sing, and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I am coming, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord.
11 “Dukɔ geɖewo ava ƒo ƒu ɖe Yehowa ŋu gbe ma gbe, eye woanye nye amewo. Manɔ mia dome eye mianya be Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ lae dɔm ɖe mia gbɔ.
And many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day, and they shall be unto me for a people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto thee.
12 Yuda azu Yehowa ƒe gome kple domenyinu le anyigba kɔkɔe la dzi, eye wòagatia Yerusalem.
And the Lord will take Judah as his inheritance upon the holy land; and he will again make choice of Jerusalem.
13 Mi anyigbadzitɔwo katã mizi ɖoɖoe le Yehowa ŋkume, elabena etso le eƒe nɔƒe kɔkɔe la.”
Be silent, all flesh! before the Lord; for he is waked up out of his holy habitation.
