< Tito 2 >
1 Ele na wò be nàfia nu si nye nufiafia si de blibo.
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2 Fia ame tsitsiwo be woafa tu, woanye ame siwo dze na bubu, ɖokuidziɖulawo, ame siwo ƒe xɔse de blibo le lɔlɔ̃ kple tenɔnɔ me.
That the aged men be sober minded, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 Nenema ke, fia nyɔnu tsitsiwo be woafa tu, eye woabu ame le woƒe nuwɔna ɖe sia ɖe me. Womanye ame siwo nɔa tsatsam, nɔa nya vlowo gblɔm tso amewo ŋu la o, eye womanye ahatsunolawo hã o.
The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 Ele be nyɔnu tsitsi siawo nafia ɖetugbiwo ale si woafa tui, eye woalɔ̃ wo srɔ̃wo kple wo viwoe.
That they may teach the young women to be sober minded, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 Fia wo be woanye ɖokuidziɖulawo, ame dzadzɛwo, aƒemedɔwɔlawo, dɔmenyotɔwo kple ame siwo bɔbɔa wo ɖokui na woawo ŋutɔ srɔ̃wo be ame aɖeke magblɔ nya tovo ɖe Mawu ƒe nya la ŋu o.
To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Nenema ke, do ŋusẽ ɖekakpuiwo be woanye ɖokuidziɖulawo.
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 Tsɔ ɖokuiwò ɖo kpɔɖeŋui na wo le nu sia nu me, to nu si nyo la wɔwɔ me. Ɖe nuteƒewɔwɔ kple moveviɖoɖo fia le wò nufiafia me.
In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing integrity, gravity, sincerity,
8 Kpe ɖe esiawo ŋu la, wò nuƒoƒo neto mɔ ɖeka be womakpɔ kpɔtsɔtsɔ le eŋu o, ale be ŋu nakpe ame siwo tsia tsitre ɖe ŋuwò la, elabena nya vɔ̃ aɖeke mele wo si woagblɔ tso mía ŋu o.
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say concerning you.
9 Fia kluviwo be woaɖo to woƒe aƒetɔwo le nu sia nu me, woadze agbagba awɔ nu adze wo ŋu, eye womegaɖo nya ŋu na woƒe aƒetɔwo o.
Exhort servants to be obedient to their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 Fia wo hã be womegafi woƒe aƒetɔwo o, ke boŋ woaɖe nuteƒewɔwɔ nyui afia be woate ŋu aka ɖe wo dzi blibo ɣe sia ɣi ale be le mɔ ɖe sia ɖe nu la, woawɔ nufiafia tso Mawu, míaƒe Ɖela ŋu wòadze ame ŋu.
Not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 Elabena Mawu ƒe amenuveve si hea ɖeɖe vanɛ la do na amewo katã.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Efia mí be míagblɔ “Ao” na mawumavɔmavɔ̃ kple xexemenudzodzrowo, eye míanɔ agbe le ɖokuidziɖuɖu, dzɔdzɔenyenye kple mawuvɔvɔ̃ me le fifixexea me, (aiōn )
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (aiōn )
13 esi míele lalam na yayraŋkeke si míele mɔ kpɔm na, yayraŋkeke si dzi woaɖe míaƒe Mawu gã kple Ɖela Yesu Kristo ƒe ŋutikɔkɔe afia le.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Ame si tsɔ eɖokui na ɖe mía ta be yeaɖe mí tso vɔ̃ɖinyenye katã me, be wòakɔ mía ŋuti na eɖokui, ame siwo nye eya ŋutɔ tɔ, eye wole klalo be woawɔ nu si nyo la.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself his own special people, zealous of good works.
15 Eya ta fia nu siawo. De dzi ƒo na wò ameawo, eye nàka mo na wo kple ŋusẽ katã. Mègana ame aɖeke nado vlo wò o.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
