< Nyaɖeɖefia 5 >
1 Tete mekpɔ agbalẽ aɖe le ame si nɔ anyi ɖe fiazikpui la dzi la ƒe nuɖusime. Woŋlɔ nu ɖe agbalẽ la me kple egodo siaa, eye wotree kple nutrenu adre.
And I saw upon the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll, written inside and outside, sealed with seven seals.
2 Eye mekpɔ mawudɔla dzɔatsu aɖe le gbeƒã ɖem kple gbe sesẽ aɖe le gbɔgblɔm be, “Ame kae dze aɖe nutrenuawo ɖa alo aʋu agbalẽ la?”
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?”
3 Gake ame aɖeke mele dziƒo, anyigba dzi loo alo anyigba te si ate ŋu aʋu agbalẽ la alo akpɔ eme o.
And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look at it.
4 Mefa avi vevie, elabena ame aɖeke meli si ŋu wokpɔ ŋudzedze le si dze be wòaʋu agbalẽ la alo akpɔ eme o.
And I began to really weep, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it.
5 Tete amegãxoxoawo dometɔ ɖeka gblɔ nam be, “Kpɔ ɖa, mègafa avi o, elabena Yuda ƒe to la ƒe Dzata si tso David ƒe ke me la ɖu dzi. Eyae ate ŋu aʋu agbalẽ la, eye wòaɖe nutrenu adreawo ɖa.”
So one of the elders says to me: “Stop weeping! Look! The Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Eye mekpɔ Alẽvi aɖe, wòdze abe ɖe wowui ene, eye wònɔ tsitre ɖe fiazikpui la titina. Nu gbagbe eneawo kple amegãxoxoawo ƒo xlãe. Dzo adre kple ŋku adre nɔ esi, esiwo nye Mawu ƒe gbɔgbɔ adreawo, esiwo wodɔ ɖo ɖe anyigba blibo la dzi.
And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living beings, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing—as if slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
7 Eyae va xɔ agbalẽ la le ame si nɔ fiazikpui la dzi la ƒe nuɖusime.
And He went and took it out of the right hand of the One sitting on the throne!
8 Esi wòxɔ agbalẽa la, nu gbagbe eneawo kple amegãxoxo blaeve-vɔ-eneawo dze klo tsyɔ mo anyi ɖe Alẽvi la ŋgɔ. Kasaŋku nɔ wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe si, eye sikagba si yɔ fũu kple dzudzɔʋeʋĩdonu siwo nye ame kɔkɔeawo ƒe gbedodoɖa la hã nɔ woƒe asi me.
And when He took the scroll the four living beings and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having harps and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.
9 Wodzi ha yeye be, “Wòe dze be nàʋu agbalẽ la, eye nàɖe nutrenu adreawo ɖa, elabena wowu wò kpɔ, eye nètsɔ wò ʋu ƒle amewoe na Mawu. Tso to sia to, gbegbɔgblɔ sia gbegbɔgblɔ, Nuto ɖe sia ɖe kple dukɔ ɖe sia ɖe me,
And they sing a new song saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals; because You were slaughtered, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and language and people and ethnic nation;
10 Èwɔ wo be woanye fiaɖuƒewo kple nunɔlawo ne woasubɔ míaƒe Mawu la, eye woaɖu fia le anyigba dzi.”
and You have made them kings and priests to our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
11 Tete mekpɔ, eye mese mawudɔla gbogbo aɖewo ƒe gbe siwo ƒe xexlẽme anye akpeakpewo kple akpe ewo teƒe akpe ewo. Woɖe to ƒo xlã fiazikpui la, nu gbagbe eneawo kple amegãxoxoawo.
And I looked, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels, around the throne and the living beings and the elders. And their number was ten thousand times ten thousand and a thousand thousands,
12 Wole ha dzim kple gbe sesẽ be, “Alẽvi si wowu la, eyae dze, be wòaxɔ ŋusẽ, kesinɔnu, nunya kple ŋutete, kple bubu, ŋutikɔkɔe kple kafukafu.”
saying with a great voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive the power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
13 Esia megbe la, mese nu gbagbe siwo katã le dziƒo, anyigba dzi, anyigba te, atsiaƒu me kpe ɖe nu siwo katã nɔ wo me la ŋuti nɔ ha dzim be, “Alẽvi si nɔ anyi ɖe fiazikpui la dzi la tɔe nye kafukafu, bubu, ŋutikɔkɔe kple ŋusẽ, (aiōn )
And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and upon the sea (the existing places and the creatures in them)—I heard them all saying: “To Him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb: the blessing and the honor and the glory and the power for ever and ever! Amen!” (aiōn )
14 Nu gbagbe eneawo gblɔ be, “Amen.” Tete amegãxoxo blaeve-vɔ-eneawo tsyɔ mo anyi, eye wosubɔe.
(It was the four living beings saying the “Amen”.) And the elders fell and did obeisance.
