1 Esia nye Yesu Kristo ƒe ɖeɖefia si Mawu nae be wòaɖe afia eƒe dɔlawo tso nu si ava dzɔ kpuie la ŋuti. Edɔ eƒe mawudɔla ɖa be wòaɖe nu siawo afia Yohanes, ame si nye eƒe dɔla.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to point out unto his servants the things which must needs come to pass with speed, —and he shewed them by signs, sending through his messenger, unto his servant John;
2 Yohanes ɖi ɖase le nu siwo katã wòkpɔ la ŋu, nu siwo nye Mawu ƒe nya kple ɖaseɖiɖi tso Yesu Kristo ŋu la.
who bare witness as to the word of God, and the witness of Jesus Christ, —whatsoever things he saw.
3 Woayra ame si xlẽ nyagblɔɖi sia me nyawo, woayra ame siwo see, eye wotsɔ emenyawo de woƒe dzi me la, elabena ɣeyiɣi la tu aƒe.
Happy! he that readeth, and they who hear, the words of the prophecy, and keep the things, therein, written; for, the season, is, near.
4 Agbalẽ sia tso Yohanes gbɔ na hame adre siwo le Asia nuto me: Amenuveve kple ŋutifafa si tso Mawu, ame si nɔ anyi, eye wòli, eye wògale vava ge la gbɔ kple gbɔgbɔ adre siwo le eƒe fiazikpui la ŋgɔ
John, unto the Seven Assemblies which are in Asia, Favour to you, and peace, from—Him who Is, and who Was, and who is Coming, and from—The Seven Spirits which are before his throne,
5 kple Yesu Kristo, ame si nye ɖaseɖila anukwaretɔ, ame gbãtɔ si fɔ tso ku me, eye wònye anyigbadzifiawo dzi ɖula la gbɔ na mi. Eya ame si lɔ̃ mí, eye wòɖe mí tso míaƒe nu vɔ̃wo me to eƒe ʋu me,
and from—Jesus Christ, —The Faithful Witness, The Firstborn of the Dead, and The Ruler of the Kings of the Earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us out of our sins with his blood, —
6 eya ame si wɔ mí be míanye fiaɖuƒe kple nunɔla siwo asubɔ eƒe Mawu kple Fofoa, eya tɔ nanye ŋutikɔkɔe kple ŋusẽ tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me! Amen. (aiōn g165)
and he hath made us [to be] a kingdom—priests unto his God and Father, Unto him, be the glory, and the dominion, unto the ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 “Kpɔ ɖa, Egbɔna; lilikpowo aƒo xlãe,” eye “ŋku ɖe sia ɖe akpɔe. Ɛ̃, ame siwo tɔ akplɔe gɔ̃ hã akpɔe.” Ne eva do la, dukɔ siwo katã le anyigba dzi la “afa avi kple ɣli le eya amea ta.”
Lo! he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, such also as pierced him; and all the tribes of the land shall smite themselves for him. Yea! Amen.
8 “Nyee nye Alfa kple Omega, gɔmedzedze kple nuwuwu, ame si nɔ anyi, eye wòli, eye wògale vava ge, ame si nye Ŋusẽkatãtɔ.” Aƒetɔ Mawue gblɔe.
I, am, the A, and, the Z, saith the Lord, —the, God who Is, and who Was, and who is Coming, The Almighty.
9 Nye, mia nɔvi Yohanes, ame si kpe fu kpli mi le Aƒetɔ la ta lae le agbalẽ sia ŋlɔm na mi. Nye hã mekpɔ gome le dzidodo si Mawu nana la me, eye miakpɔ gome le eƒe fiaɖuƒe la hã me! Menɔ Patmo Ƒukpo dzi. Woɖe aboyom yi afi ma le Mawu ƒe nya kple Yesu Kristo ŋuti ɖaseɖiɖi ta.
I, John, your brother, and partaker with you in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Jesus, came to be in the isle that is called Patmos, because of the word of God, and the witness of Jesus.
10 Esime menɔ gbɔgbɔ me le Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋkekea dzi la, mese gbe sesẽ aɖe le megbenye abe kpẽ ƒe ɖiɖi ene.
I came to be, in Spirit, in the Lord’s Day, and heard, behind me, a loud voice, as of a trumpet,
11 Enɔ gbɔgblɔm be, “Ŋlɔ nu sia nu si nèkpɔ la da ɖi, eye nàɖo agbalẽ la ɖe hame adre siwo le Efeso, Smirna, Pergamo, Tiatira, Sardis, Filadelfia kple Laodikea.”
saying—What thou seest, write in a scroll, and send unto the Seven Assemblies, —unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, —and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, —and unto Laodicea.
12 Esi metrɔ be makpɔ ame si nɔ nu ƒom la, kasia mekpɔ sikakaɖiti adre.
And I turned round, to see the Voice which was speaking with me, and, having turned, I saw Seven Lamps of gold;
13 Ame aɖe tsi tsitre ɖe wo dome si ɖi Amegbetɔ Vi la. Edo awu ʋlaya aɖe, eye wòtsɔ sikalidziblaka aɖe bla akɔta.
and, in the midst of the lamps, One like unto a Son of Man: —clothed with a robe, reaching to the feet, and girt about at the breasts with a girdle of gold,
14 Eƒe taɖa fu tititi abe alẽfu alo ɖetifu ene. Eƒe ŋkuwo le abe dzo ƒe aɖewo ene.
And his head and hair, white, like white wool—like snow, and, his eyes, like a flame of fire,
15 Eƒe afɔwo biã hẽe abe akɔbli si wode kpodzo me ene, eye eƒe gbe le abe tɔsisi geɖewo ƒe hoowɔwɔ ene.
And, his feet, like unto glowing copper, as if in a furnace refined, and, his voice, like a sound of many waters,
16 Elé ɣletivi adre ɖe nuɖusi, eye yi ɖaɖɛ nuevee do go tso eƒe nu me. Eƒe mo nɔ keklẽm abe ɣe ƒe keklẽ ene.
And, having in his right hand, seven stars, and, out of his mouth, a sharp, two-edged sword, going forth; and, his whole appearance, as when, the sun, shineth in its strength.
17 Esi mekpɔe la, medze anyi ɖe eƒe afɔ nu abe ame kuku ene. Tete wòtsɔ eƒe nuɖusi da ɖe dzinye, eye wògblɔ be, “Mègavɔ̃ o. Nyee nye Gɔmedzedze kple Nuwuwu.
And, when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead, and he laid his right hand upon me, saying—Do not fear! I, am the First, and the Last,
18 Nyee nye Ame si le agbe; meku kpɔ, gake kpɔ ɖa, mele agbe tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me! Eye ku kple tsiẽƒe ƒe safuiwo le asinye. (aiōn g165, Hadēs g86)
and the Living One, —and I became dead; —and lo! living, am I, unto the ages of ages, and have the keys of death and of hades. (aiōn g165, Hadēs g86)
19 “Eya ta ŋlɔ nu siwo nèkpɔ fifia kple nu siwo le vava ge emegbe la.
Write, therefore—what things thou hast seen and what they are; and what things are about to come to pass, after these things:
20 Nu ɣaɣla si le ɣletivi adre siwo nèkpɔ melé ɖe nuɖusi kple sikakaɖiti adreawo me lae nye esi: Ɣletivi adreawo nye hame adreawo ƒe mawudɔlawo, eye sikakaɖiti adreawo nye hame adreawo.
The sacred secret of the seven stars, which thou sawest upon my right hand, and the seven lamps of gold: —The seven stars, are, messengers of the seven assemblies, and, the seven lamps, are, seven assemblies
