< Psalmowo 87 >

1 Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha. Eɖo eƒe agunu anyi ɖe to Kɔkɔe la dzi.
A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.
2 Yehowa lɔ̃ Zion ƒe agbowo wu Yakob ƒe nɔƒewo katã.
Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.
3 O! Mawu ƒe du, wogblɔ nu nyui geɖewo tso ŋuwò. (Sela)
Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)
4 “Maŋlɔ Rahab kple Babilon ƒe ŋkɔ ɖe ame siwo nyam la dome, nenema kee nye Filistia kple Tiro hekpe ɖe Kus ŋuti, magblɔ be, ‘Wodzi esia le Zion.’”
I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”
5 Vavã, woagblɔ le Zion ŋu be, “Wodzi esia kple ekemɛ le afi ma, eye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ŋutɔ aɖo egɔme anyi.”
It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.
6 Yehowa aŋlɔ ɖe dukɔwo ƒe agbalẽ me be, “Wodzi esia le Zion.” (Sela)
When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)
7 Ne wole ha dzim la, woadzi ha be, “Nye agunuwo katã le mewò.”
Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
