< Psalmowo 82 >
1 Asaf ƒe ha. Mawu nɔ zi me na takpekpe gã la, eye wòdrɔ̃ ʋɔnu le “mawuwo” dome.
— A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.
2 “Va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi miaʋli ame baɖa la ta, eye miatso afia ade ame vɔ̃ɖi la dzi?” (Sela)
Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? (Selah)
3 “Miʋli ame gblɔewo kple tsyɔ̃eviwo ta, eye miwɔ dɔmenyo na hiãtɔwo kple ame siwo wote ɖe to.
Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.
4 Mixɔ na ame gblɔewo kple hiãtɔwo, eye miɖe wo tso ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe asi me.
Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.
5 “Womenya naneke o, womese naneke gɔme o. Wole zɔzɔm le blukɔ me, eye anyigba ƒe agunuwo katã ʋuʋu.
They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.
6 “Megblɔ be, ‘Mawuwoe mienye; mi katã mienye Dziƒoʋĩtɔ la ƒe viŋutsuwo’,
I — I have said, 'Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,
7 gake miaku abe amegbetɔwo ko ene eye miatsi aʋa abe fia ɖe sia ɖe ko ene.”
But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,
8 O! Mawu, tso, eye nàdrɔ̃ ʋɔnu anyigba la elabena dukɔwo katã nye wò domenyinu.
Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!
