< Psalmowo 81 >
1 Asaf ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Woadzii ɖe gitit ƒe gbeɖiɖi nu. Midzi ha, mikpɔ dzidzɔ ɖe Mawu, míaƒe ŋusẽ la ŋu, eye mitso aseye kple ɣli ɖe Yakob ƒe Mawu la ŋu!
To the Chief Musician. On "the Gittith." Asaph’s. Shout ye for joy, unto God our strength, Sound the note of triumph, to the God of Jacob;
2 Mido ha ɖa, xatsɛwo neɖi, miƒo kasaŋku kple gakasaŋku siwo ƒe gbe me kɔ.
Raise a melody, and strike the timbrel, The lyre so sweet, with the harp:
3 Miku lãdzokpẽwo le Dzinu Yeye dzi kple ne dzinu sɔ tegblẽe le míaƒe ŋkekenyuiɖugbe.
Blow, at the new moon, the horn, At the full moon, for the day of our sacred festival:
4 Esia nye se na Israel kple ɖoɖo na Yakob ƒe Mawu la.
For, a statute to Israel, it is, A regulation, by the God of Jacob;
5 Esi Mawu tso ɖe Egiptetɔwo ŋu la, eɖoe anyi be wòanye se na Yosef, afi si míese gbegbɔgblɔ si gɔme míese o la le:
A testimony in Joseph, he appointed it, When he went forth over the land of Egypt: A language I liked not, used I to hear;
6 Egblɔ be, “Meɖe agba la ɖa le woƒe abɔta, eye woɖe woƒe asiwo ɖa le kusi la ŋuti.
I took away, from the burden, his shoulder, his hands, from the clay, were set free.
7 Mieyɔm le miaƒe xaxa me, eye mexɔ na mi. Metɔ na mi le dziɖegbelilikpo la me. Medo mi kpɔ le Meriba tsi la gbɔ. (Sela)
In distress, thou didst cry, and I delivered thee, —I answered thee, within a hiding-place of thunder, I proved thee by the waters of Meribah. (Selah)
8 Mísee, o nye dukɔ, maxlɔ̃ nu mi. O! Israel, nenye ɖe nàɖo tom ɖe!
Hear, O my people, and I will adjure thee, O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me!
9 Dzromawu aɖeke maganɔ dowòme o; màgade ta agu na mawu tutɔ aɖeke o.
There shall not be, within thee, a foreign GOD, —Neither shalt thou bow down to a strange GOD:
10 Nyee nye Yehowa, wò Mawu, ame si kplɔ wò do goe tso Egipte. Ke wò nu baa, eye mana wòayɔ.
I, Yahweh, am thy God, Who brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, —Open wide thy mouth, that I may fill it.
11 “Ke nye dukɔ meɖo to nye gbe o; Israel gbe, mebɔbɔ eɖokui nam o,
But my people, hearkened not, unto my voice, Even, Israel, inclined not unto me.
12 eya ta meɖe asi le wo ŋu na woƒe dzi sesẽwo, ne woadze nu siwo woawo ŋutɔ ɖo la yome.
So then I let them go on in the stubbornness of their own heart, They might walk in their own counsels!
13 “Ɖe wònye nye dukɔ aɖo tom, eye Israel nazɔ nye mɔwo dzi la,
If, my people, were hearkening unto me, [If, ] Israel, in my ways, would walk,
14 aleke nyemahabɔbɔ woƒe futɔwo ɖe anyii kaba, eye nyemahakɔ nye asiwo dzi ɖe woƒe ketɔwo ŋui o!
Right soon, their foes, would I subdue, And, against their adversaries, would I turn my hand:
15 Ame siwo lé fu Yehowa la ada alakpa le eŋkume, eye woƒe tohehe anɔ anyi tegbee.
The haters of Yahweh, should come cringing unto him, Then let their own good time be age-abiding!
16 Ke míaɖu bliwɔ nyuitɔ, eye matsɔ kpetomenyitsi aɖi ƒoe na mi.”
Then would he feed them from the marrow of the wheat, Yea, out of the rock—with honey, would I satisfy thee.
