< Psalmowo 72 >
1 Ha na Solomo. O! Mawu, tsɔ wò afia nyui tsotso do na fia la, kple wò dzɔdzɔenyenye na fiavi la.
A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king Thy judgments, O God, and Thy righteousness unto the king's son;
2 Adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu na wò dukɔ la le dzɔdzɔenyenye me, eye wòatso afia nyui na ame siwo ƒe dzi gbã la.
That he may judge Thy people with righteousness, and Thy poor with justice.
3 Towo atsɔ kesinɔnuwo vɛ na wò dukɔ, eye togbɛwo atsɔ dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe kutsetse vɛ na wo.
Let the mountains bear peace to the people, and the hills, through righteousness.
4 Aʋli ame siwo ƒe dzi gbã la ta, axɔ na hiãtɔwo ƒe viwo, eye wòagbã ameteɖetola la nyanyanya.
May he judge the poor of the people, and save the children of the needy, and crush the oppressor.
5 Zi ale si ɣe kple ɣleti li la, anɔ te le dzidzimewo katã me.
They shall fear Thee while the sun endureth, and so long as the moon, throughout all generations.
6 Anɔ abe tsidzadza ɖe anyigba si dzi woƒo gbe le kple agbafie si dza ɖe anyigba hede tsii ene.
May he come down like rain upon the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
7 Ame dzɔdzɔewo ayi ŋgɔ le eƒe ɣeyiɣiwo me, eye kesinɔnuwo ado agbogbo va se ɖe esime ɣleti magaɖi o.
In his days let the righteous flourish, and abundance of peace, till the moon be no more.
8 Aɖu fia tso atsiaƒu ƒe go sia dzi ayi go kemɛ dzi, tso tɔsisi to ase ɖe anyigba la ƒe mlɔenuwo ke.
May he have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the River unto the ends of the earth.
9 Dukɔ siwo le gbegbe la ade ta agu nɛ, eye eƒe futɔwo aɖuɖɔ ʋuʋudedi.
Let them that dwell in the wilderness bow before him; and his enemies lick the dust.
10 Tarsis fia kple didiƒe ƒutatɔwo ahe adzɔ vɛ nɛ, eye Sieba kple Seba fiawo atsɔ nunanawo vɛ nɛ.
The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall render tribute; the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
11 Fiawo katã ade ta agu nɛ, eye dukɔwo katã asubɔe,
Yea, all kings shall prostrate themselves before him; all nations shall serve him.
12 elabena aɖe hiãtɔ si le avi fam kple wɔmenɔ si xɔnametɔ aɖeke meli na o.
For he will deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper.
13 Akpɔ nublanui na ame gblɔewo kple hiãtɔwo, eye wòaɖe ame dahewo tso ku me.
He will have pity on the poor and needy, and the souls of the needy he will save.
14 Aɖe wo le teteɖeanyi kple ŋutasesẽ me, elabena woƒe ʋu xɔ asi le eŋkume.
He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence, and precious will their blood be in his sight;
15 Fia la nenɔ agbe tegbee! Wonetsɔ Seba sika nɛ. Amewo nedo gbe ɖa ɖe eta ɖaa, eye wòayra ŋkeke blibo la.
That they may live, and that he may give them of the gold of Sheba, that they may pray for him continually, yea, bless him all the day.
16 Bli nedo agbogbo ɖe anyigba la katã dzi; eye neʋã ɖe togbɛwo katã dzi. Blitiawo netri abe Lebanontɔwo ene, eye woanɔ abe gbe le gbedzi ene.
May he be as a rich cornfield in the land upon the top of the mountains; may his fruit rustle like Lebanon; and may they blossom out of the city like grass of the earth.
17 Eƒe ŋkɔ nenɔ anyi ɖaa, eye nenɔ anyi zi ale si ɣe le keklẽm. Woayra dukɔwo katã to eya amea dzi, eye woayɔe be yayratɔ.
May his name endure for ever; may his name be continued as long as the sun; may men also bless themselves by him; may all nations call him happy.
18 Woakafu Yehowa Mawu, Israel ƒe Mawu la, eya ame si ko wɔa nu dzɔatsuwo.
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things;
19 Woakafu eƒe ŋkɔ si ŋu ŋutikɔkɔe le la tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me; eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe neyɔ anyigba blibo la dzi.
And blessed be His glorious name for ever; and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen, and Amen.
