< Psalmowo 70 >
1 David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Kukuɖeɖe. O! Mawu, netsɔ nàɖem; O! Yehowa, va kaba nàxɔ nam.
Unto the end. A Psalm of David, in remembrance that the Lord had saved him. O God, reach out to help me. O Lord, hasten to assist me.
2 Ŋukpe kple tɔtɔ neva ame siwo le nye agbe yome tim la dzi. Ame siwo le nye gbegblẽ dim la negbugbɔ ɖe megbe kple ŋukpe.
May those who seek my soul be confounded and awed.
3 Na be ame siwo le gbɔgblɔm be, “Ɛhɛ̃! Ɛhɛ̃!” la natrɔ megbe adzo kple ŋukpe.
May those who wish evils upon me be turned back and blush with shame. May they be turned away immediately, blushing with shame, who say to me: “Well, well.”
4 Ke ame siwo dia wò la netso aseye; woakpɔ dzidzɔ le mewò, eye ame siwo lɔ̃a wò xɔname la negblɔ ɖaa be, “Woado Mawu ɖe dzi ɖaa!”
Let all who seek you exult and rejoice in you, and let those who love your salvation forever say: “The Lord be magnified.”
5 Ke nye la, O Mawu, meda ahe, eye hiã tum, eya ta va gbɔnye kaba. O! Yehowa, mègahe ɖe megbe o, elabena wòe nye nye xɔnametɔ kple nye Ɖela.
I am truly destitute and poor. O God, assist me. You are my helper and my deliverer. O Lord, do not delay.
