< Psalmowo 64 >
1 David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. O! Mawu, ɖo tom, esi meɖe nye kuxiwo na wò; kpɔ nye agbe ta tso futɔ siwo le ŋɔdzi dom nam la ƒe asi me.
“To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint: preserve my life from the dread of the enemy.
2 Ɣlam tso ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe nugbeɖoɖo kple ame vlo mawo ƒe howɔwɔ me.
Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous assault of the workers of wickedness;
3 Wonyrea woƒe aɖewo abe yi ene, eye wodzidzea woƒe nyawo ɖe ame dzi abe aŋutrɔ siwo nu aɖi le la ene.
Who whet their tongue like a sword, who aim with their arrow, the bitter word:
4 Wodea xa hedaa aŋutrɔ ame maɖifɔ la, eye wodanɛ zi ɖeka vɔvɔ̃manɔŋutɔe.
To shoot in secret at the innocent; suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Wodea dzi ƒo na wo nɔewo le woƒe nu vɔ̃ɖi ɖoɖowo me, woƒoa nu tso ale si woatre mɔ ɖe vivime la ŋuti gblɔna be, “Ame kae le ekpɔ ge?”
They encourage themselves in an evil plan; they tell secretly of laying snares: they say, Who will see them?
6 Woɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖi hegblɔna le eŋuti be, “Míewɔ ɖoɖo deŋgɔ la vɔ!” Vavãe, ame ƒe susu kple dzi me nye ayenuwɔƒe,
They search out iniquities; “We are ready with the carefully searched out device:” and the inward thought and heart of each is deeply [hidden].
7 gake Mawu ada aŋutrɔ wo eye wòalɔ wo zi ɖeka kpoyi woamu adze anyi.
But God shooteth at them suddenly [his] arrow; —[thence] are come their wounds.
8 Ana woawo ŋutɔ ƒe aɖe nade wo nya me eye wòahe wo ade tsɔtsrɔ̃ me. Ame siwo katã akpɔ wo la aʋuʋu ta ɖe wo ŋu fewuɖutɔe.
And their own tongues will stumble over themselves: all that look on them will shake their head.
9 Tete vɔvɔ̃ aɖo amegbetɔƒomea katã; woado Mawu ƒe dɔwɔwɔwo ɖe dzi, eye woade ŋugble le nu si wòwɔ la ŋuti.
All men shall fear, and shall declare the deeds of God, and understand his works.
10 Ame dzɔdzɔe akpɔ dzidzɔ le Yehowa me, eye wòasii atso. Ame siwo katã dza le woƒe dzi me la akafui!
The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glorify themselves.
