< Psalmowo 63 >
1 David ƒe ha. Ekpae esi wòle Yuda gbegbe. O!
O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 Mekpɔ wò le kɔkɔeƒe la, eye mekpɔ wò ŋusẽ kple wò ŋutikɔkɔe.
To see your power and your glory, so as I have seen you in the sanctuary.
3 Esi wò lɔlɔ̃ nyo wu agbe ta la, nye nuyiwo ado wò ɖe dzi.
Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.
4 Makafu wò, zi ale si mele agbe, eye mado nye asiwo ɖe dzi le wò ŋkɔ me.
Thus will I bless you while I live: I will lift up my hands in your name.
5 Nye luʋɔ aɖi ƒo abe nuɖuɖu nyuitɔ kekeakee wòɖu ene; hadzidzi anɔ nu nam, eye nye nu adzi kafukafuhawo na wò.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise you with joyful lips:
6 Le nye aba dzi, meɖoa ŋku dziwò, mebua ŋutiwò le nye ŋunɔɣi le zã me.
When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.
7 Esi nènye nye xɔnametɔ ta la, madzi ha le wò aʋala ƒe vɔvɔli te.
Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice.
8 Nye luʋɔ ku ɖe ŋuwò goŋgoŋgoŋ, eye wò ɖusibɔ lém ɖe te.
My soul follows hard after you: your right hand upholds me.
9 Woatsrɔ̃ ame siwo le nye agbe yome tim, woayi ɖe keke anyigba la ƒe tume ke.
But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 Woatsɔ wo ade asi na yi, eye woazu nuɖuɖu na amegaxiwo.
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 Ke fia la akpɔ dzidzɔ le Mawu me; ame siwo katã kaa atam le Mawu ƒe ŋkɔ me la akafui, ke woamia nu na alakpatɔwo.
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that swears by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
