< Psalmowo 62 >
1 David ƒe ha na Hɛnɔ Yedutun. Mawu me ko nye luʋɔ kpɔ gbɔɖeme le, eye eya ko gbɔ nye xɔxɔ tsona.
For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation [yeshuah-ti] is from him.
2 Eya koe nye nye agakpe, nye xɔxɔ kple nye mɔ sesẽ, eya ta nyemaʋã akpɔ gbeɖe o.
He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
3 Va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi nànɔ ame ɖeka ƒoƒo dzi? Ɖe mi katã mialé ame si le abe gli gbagbã kple kpɔ si le mumum ene la aƒu anyia?
How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
4 Woɖoe vavã be yewoatutui tso eƒe nɔƒe kɔkɔ la, elabena wolɔ̃a alakpadada. Wotsɔa woƒe nuwo gblɔa yayranyawoe, ke fiƒode le woƒe dzi me. (Sela)
They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
5 O! Nye luʋɔ, gbɔ ɖe eme le Mawu ɖeka ko me, elabena eya gbɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ tso.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
6 Eya hɔ̃ɔ koe nye nye agakpe, nye xɔxɔ kple nye mɔ sesẽ, eya ta nyemaʋuʋu o.
He alone is my rock and my salvation [yeshuah-ti], my fortress. I will not be shaken.
7 Nye xɔxɔ kple bubu ku ɖe Mawu ŋu, eyae nye nye agakpe sesẽ kple nye sitsoƒe.
My salvation and my honour is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 O! Mi dukɔwo, miɖo dzi ɖe eŋu ɣe sia ɣi; mitsɔ miaƒe hiahiãwo kɔ ɖe edzi, elabena Mawue nye míaƒe sitsoƒe. (Sela)
Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Vavã, ƒuƒu ko ame gbɔlowo nye, eye alakpa nye ame siwo nye ame ŋkutawo, elabena ne woda wo le nudanu dzi la, tofloko ko wonye, eye wo katã ƒuƒu ko wonye.
Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10 Migaɖo ŋu ɖe amebaba ŋu, alo akpɔ dzidzɔ ɖe nu siwo wofi la ŋuti o. Togbɔ be wò kesinɔnuwo dzi ɖe edzi hã la, mègatsɔ wò dzi da ɖe wo dzi o.
Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
11 Mawu gblɔ nya ɖeka, eye mese nu eve le eme be, “Wò, O Mawu, ɖeka koe sesẽ,
God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
12 eye O Aƒetɔ, wò la lɔlɔ̃ bɔ ɖe asiwò. Vavã, àɖo eteƒe na ame sia ame ɖe nu si wòwɔ la nu.”
Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
