< Psalmowo 48 >
1 Korah ƒe viwo ƒe ha. Yehowa lolo, eye eya koe dze kafukafu le míaƒe Mawu la ƒe du me, le eƒe to kɔkɔe la dzi.
A Melodious Song. For the Sons of Korah. Great is Yahweh, and worthy to be mightily praised, In the city of our God, His holy mountain.
2 Zion to la kɔkɔ henya kpɔ ale gbegbe, eye wònye dzudzɔdonu na anyigba blibo la. Fia gã la ƒe du, si le abe Zafon to kɔkɔe la ene.
Beautiful in elevation, the joy of all the land, Is Mount Zion, in the recesses of the north, —The city of a great king.
3 Mawu le eƒe fiasãwo me, eye wòɖe eɖokui fia abe eƒe mɔ sesẽ ene.
God, in her palaces, is to be known as a high tower.
4 Fiawo ƒo woƒe aʋakɔwo nu ƒu, hezɔ ɖe edzi ɖekae,
For lo! Kings—Met as appointed, Passed by together;
5 ke esi wokpɔe la, woƒe nu ku, ŋɔdzi lé wo eye wosi dzo.
They themselves, saw, So, were they amazed, Dismayed—they hurried way!
6 Dzidzi ƒo wo, eye wose veve abe nyɔnu si le ku lém la ene.
Trembling, seized them, there, Pangs. like hers who is in travail.
7 Egbã wo gudugudu abe ale si ɣedzeƒeya gbã Tarsis tɔdziʋuwo ene.
With an east wind, wilt thou shatter the ships of Tarshish.
(Sela)
Just as we have heard, So, have we seen, In the city of Yahweh of hosts, In the city of our God, God himself, will establish her, unto times age-abiding. (Selah)
9 O! Mawu, míedea ŋugble le wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la ŋu le wò gbedoxɔ me.
We have thought, O God, upon thy lovingkindness, In the midst of thy temple:
10 O! Mawu, wò kafukafu de keke anyigba la ƒe mlɔenu ke abe wò ŋkɔ ene. Wò nuɖusi ɖua fia le dzɔdzɔenyenye me.
According to thy Name, O God, So, be thy praise, unto the ends of the earth, With righteousness, is, thy right hand, filled.
11 Zion to kpɔ dzidzɔ, eye Yuda ƒe kɔƒewo le aseye tsom le wò afiatsotso ta.
Let Mount Zion rejoice, Let the daughters of Judah exult, Because of thy judgments.
12 Mizɔ Zion to la ŋu godoo, mizɔ ƒo xlãe, eye mixlẽ eƒe xɔ tsralawo,
Go round Zion, and compass her about, Reckon up her towers;
13 ne miakpɔ kpo si woƒo ɖe eƒe gliwo ŋu. Mikpɔ eƒe fiasãwo nyuie ne míatsɔe atu xoe na dzidzime si gbɔna,
Apply your mind to her rampart, Pass between her palaces, That ye may recount them to an after generation;
14 elabena Mawu siae nye míaƒe Mawu tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me; eyae anye mía kplɔla yi ɖase ɖe nuwuwu.
For, this God, is our God, to times age-abiding and beyond, He himself, will conduct us till death.
