Psalmowo 29

1 David ƒe ha. Mitsɔ bubu na Yehowa, O! Mi ŋusẽtɔwo, mitsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe kple ŋusẽ na Yehowa.

A Melody of David. Give to Yahweh, ye sons of the mighty, —Give to Yahweh, [both] glory and strength:

2 Mitsɔ ŋutikɔkɔe si dze Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ nɛ; misubɔ Yehowa le eƒe kɔkɔenyenye ƒe atsyɔ̃ me.

Give to Yahweh, the glory of his Name, Bow down to Yahweh, in the adornment of holiness.

3 Yehowa ƒe gbe ɖi le tsiwo dzi; Ŋutikɔkɔe ƒe Mawu la ɖe gbe, eye Yehowa ɖe gbe le tsi gãwo dzi.

The voice of Yahweh, is upon the waters, —The GOD of glory, hath thundered, Yahweh, is upon mighty waters;

4 Ŋusẽ le Yehowa ƒe gbe ŋu, eye ŋutikɔkɔe nye Yehowa ƒe gbe.

The voice of Yahweh, is with power, The voice of Yahweh, is with majesty;

5 Yehowa ƒe gbe ŋe Lebanon ƒe sedatiwo.

The voice of Yahweh, is breaking cedars, Now hath Yahweh, broken down, the cedars of Lebanon!

6 Ena Lebanon ti kpo abe nyivi ene, eye Sirion hã abe tovi ene.

And hath made them leap like a calf, Lebanon and Sirion, like the bull-calf of wild-oxen;

7 Yehowa ƒe gbe ke dzo mia abe dzikedzo ene.

The voice of Yahweh, is cleaving out flames of fire;

8 Yehowa ƒe gbe ʋuʋu dzogbenyigba, eye Yehowa ʋuʋu Kades Dzogbenyigba.

The voice of Yahweh, bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness; Yahweh bringeth birth-pains upon the wilderness of Kadesh!

9 Yehowa na gboti sesẽwo ʋuʋu heyeheye, eye wòna avewo lũ xɛ. Le eƒe gbedoxɔ me la, ame sia ame do ɣli be, “Ŋutikɔkɔe!”

The voice of Yahweh, causeth the gazelles to bring forth, and hath stript forests; and, in his own temple, every one there, is saying, Glory!

10 Yehowa nɔ eƒe fiazikpui dzi gli le tsiɖɔɖɔ dzi. Woɖo Yehowa fia tso mavɔ me yi mavɔ me.

Yahweh, at the Flood, was seated, And Yahweh hath taken his seat, as king, unto times age-abiding.

11 Yehowa naa ŋusẽ eƒe dukɔ; eye wòyraa eƒe amewo kple ŋutifafa.

Yahweh, will give, strength to his people, —Yahweh, will bless his people with prosperity.
