< Psalmowo 28 >
1 David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, nye Agakpe, wò yɔm mele, mègado tokum o. Elabena ne èzi ɖoɖoe la, manɔ abe ame siwo yi aʋlime la ene.
David’s. Unto thee, O Yahweh, do I cry, O my Rock! do not turn in silence from me, —lest, if thou turn from me in silence, I be like them who go down into the pit.
2 Esi mekɔ nye asiwo dzi ɖo ɖe wò Kɔkɔeƒewo ƒe Kɔkɔƒe la gbɔ la, se nye ɣlidodo na nublanuikpɔkpɔ, ne meyɔ wò be nàxɔ nam.
Hear the voice of my supplication, when I cry to thee for help, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy shrine.
3 Mègakplɔm kpe ɖe ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ŋu o, ame siwo ƒoa nu kple aƒelikawo fafɛ, gake vɔ̃ɖivɔ̃ɖi le woƒe dzi me.
Do not drag me away—with the lawless, or with the workers of iniquity, —who speak peaceably with their neighbours, but, wrong, is in their heart.
4 Ɖo eteƒe na wo le woƒe nuwɔnawo kple woƒe dɔwɔwɔ vɔ̃wo ta. Xe fe na wo ɖe nu si woƒe asiwo wɔ la nu, eye nàgbugbɔ tohehe si wodze na la ahe va wo dzii.
Give them, according to their deed, and, according to the wrong of their practices, —According to the work of their own hands, give thou unto them, Bring back their own dealing to themselves.
5 Esi womede bubu Yehowa ƒe nuwɔnawo kple eƒe asinudɔwo ŋuti o ta la, àgbã wo aƒu anyi, eye màgbugbɔ wo atu akpɔ gbeɖe o.
Because they heed not The Deeds of Yahweh, or the Work of his hands, he will pull them down, and not build them.
6 Woakafu Yehowa, elabena ese ɣli si dom mele le nublanuikpɔkpɔ biam.
Blessed be Yahweh, Because he hath heard the voice of my supplication.
7 Yehowae nye nye ŋusẽ kple akpoxɔnu; nye dzi ka ɖe eya amea dzi, eye wòɖem. Nye dzi ti kpo le dzidzɔkpɔkpɔ ta, eye mada akpe nɛ to hadzidzi me.
Yahweh, is my strength and my shield, In him, hath trusted my heart, and I have found help, —Therefore hath my heart danced for joy, and, with my song, do I praise him.
8 Yehowae nye eƒe dukɔ ƒe ŋusẽ; ɖeɖe ƒe mɔ sesẽ wònye na eƒe amesiamina.
Yahweh, is strength to his people, —And, the all-saving refuge of his Anointed One, is he!
9 Ɖe wò dukɔ, eye nàyra wò domenyinu; nànye woƒe kplɔla, eye nàkɔ wo ɖe akɔnu tegbetegbe.
Oh save thy people, and bless thine inheritance, Tend them also, and carry them, Unto times age-abiding.
