Psalmowo 26

1 David ƒa ha. O! Yehowa, tso afia nam, elabena menɔ agbe si ŋu fɔɖiɖi mele o. Meɖo dzi ɖe Yehowa ŋu, nyemeʋã kpɔ gbeɖe o.

[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

2 O! Yehowa, lolom, dom kpɔ; eye nàdzro nye dzi kple tamesusu hã me,

Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

3 elabena wò lɔlɔ̃ le ŋkunye me ɖaa, eye mezɔna le wò nyateƒe la me ɣe sia ɣi.

For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

4 Nyemanɔ anyi ɖe ameblelawo dome, alo ade ha kple alakpanuwɔlawo o.

I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

5 Metsri ame tovowo ƒe habɔbɔ, eye megbe be nyemanɔ ame vɔ̃ɖiwo dome o.

I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

6 Meklɔ nye asiwo le fɔmaɖimaɖi me, eye meƒo xlã wò vɔsamlekpui, O! Yehowa,

I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

7 hele wò kafukafuha dzim kple ɣli le nukudɔ siwo katã nèwɔ la xlẽm fia.

That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.

8 O! Yehowa, melɔ̃ aƒe si me nèle, afi si wò ŋutikɔkɔe le.

Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Mègatsɔ nye luʋɔ kpe ɖe nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo ŋuti kple nye agbe kpe ɖe hlɔ̃dolawo ŋuti,

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

10 ame siwo ƒe asi me ɖoɖo vɔ̃ɖiwo le, eye woƒe nuɖusime yɔ fũu kple zãnuxɔxɔ o.

In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

11 Ke nye la, menɔ agbe si ŋu fɔɖiɖi mele o, eya ta ɖem, eye nàkpɔ nublanui nam.

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 Nye afɔ le sɔsɔeƒe. Makafu Yehowa le takpekpe gã la me.

My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
