< Psalmowo 25 >
1 David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, wòe mekɔ nye luʋɔ ɖe dzi na.
א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.
2 O! Nye Mawu, ŋuwòe meɖo dzi ɖo. Mègana ŋu nakpem, alo nàɖe mɔ nye futɔwo naɖu dzinye o.
בּ My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.
3 Ame si tsɔ eƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe dziwò la, ŋu makpee akpɔ gbeɖe o; gake ŋu akpe ame siwo nye vivimenuwɔlawo.
גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 O! Yehowa, fia wò mɔwo kple wò toƒewom,
דּ Show me your ways, Adonai. Teach me your paths.
5 kplɔm le wò nyateƒe la me, eye nàfia num, elabena wòe nye nye Mawu kple nye Ɖela, eye nye mɔkpɔkpɔ le mewò ŋkeke blibo la katã.
ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·, I wait for you all day long.
6 O! Yehowa, ɖo ŋku wò lɔlɔ̃ kple wò nublanuikpɔkpɔ sɔgbɔ la dzi, elabena woli tso blema ke.
ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for they are from old times.
7 O! Yehowa, mègaɖo ŋku nye ɖekakpuimenu vɔ̃wo kple nye aglãdzemɔwo dzi o; ke boŋ ɖo ŋku dzinye le wò lɔlɔ̃ la ta, elabena nyuiwɔwɔ le mewò.
ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships. Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.
8 Yehowa nyo, eye wòwɔa nu dzɔdzɔe, eya ta efiaa eƒe mɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo.
ט Good and upright is Adonai, therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.
9 Ekplɔa ɖokuibɔbɔlawo to nu dzɔdzɔe wɔwɔ me, eye wòfiaa eƒe mɔ wo.
י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·. He will teach the humble his way.
10 Yehowa ƒe mɔwo katã nye lɔlɔ̃ kple nuteƒewɔwɔ na ame siwo léa eƒe nubablamenyawo ɖe asi.
כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 O! Yehowa, togbɔ be nye dzidada sɔ gbɔ ale gbegbe hã la, tsɔ wo kem le wò ŋkɔ la ta.
ל For your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.
12 Ekema ame kawoe nye ŋutsu ma siwo vɔ̃a Yehowa? Afia nu wo le mɔ si woato la dzi.
מ What man is he who fears Adonai? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.
13 Woakpɔ dzidzedze le woƒe agbemeŋkekewo me, eye woƒe dzidzimeviwo anyi anyigba la ƒe dome.
נ His soul shall dwell at ease. His offspring shall inherit the land.
14 Yehowa gblɔa nya ɣaɣlawo na ame siwo vɔ̃nɛ, eye wòɖea eƒe nubabla fiaa wo.
ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.
15 Nye ŋkuwo le Yehowa ŋu ɖaa, elabena eya koe aɖe nye afɔ le mɔ me.
ע My eyes are ever on Adonai, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.
16 Trɔ ɖe ŋunye ne nàve nunye, elabena metsi akogo, eye hiã tum.
פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.
17 Nye dzi ƒe nuxaxawo do gã ɖe edzi, na vovom tso nye vevesesewo me.
צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.
18 Nye kɔ nàkpɔ nye nuxaxa kple nye vevesese ɖa, eye nàɖe nye nu vɔ̃wo katã ɖa.
ר Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.
19 Kpɔ ale si nye futɔwo dzi ɖe edzii ɖa, eye nàkpɔ ale si wolé fum ɖikaɖikae ɖa!
ר Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.
20 Kpɔ nye agbe ta, eye nàɖem; megana ŋu nakpem o, elabena mewòe mebe ɖo.
שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
21 Nuteƒewɔwɔ kple dzɔdzɔenyenye nedzɔ ŋunye, elabena nye mɔkpɔkpɔ le mewò.
תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.
22 O! Mawu, ɖe Israel tso woƒe xaxawo katã me.
Redeem Israel [God prevails], God, out all of his troubles.
