< Psalmowo 147 >
1 Mikafu Yehowa. Aleke mehenyoe be woadzi kafukafuha na míaƒe Mawu la o! Aleke wòhevivina, eye wòdze be woakafui!
Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise you the Lord: for psalmody is a good thing; let praise be sweetly sung to our God.
2 Yehowa gbugbɔ tso Yerusalem du la, eye wòkplɔ Israel ƒe aboyomewo gbɔe.
The Lord builds up Jerusalem; and he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.
3 Eda gbe le ame siwo ƒe dzi gbã la ŋu, eye wòbla woƒe abiwo na wo.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4 Eyae ɖo xexlẽme na ɣletiviwo, eye wòyɔa ɖe sia ɖe ƒe ŋkɔ.
He numbers the multitudes of stars; and calls them all by names.
5 Gãe nye míaƒe Aƒetɔ la, eye eƒe ŋusẽ tri akɔ ŋutɔ, seɖoƒe meli na eƒe gɔmesese o.
Great is our Lord, and great is his strength; and his understanding is infinite.
6 Yehowa kpɔa ame siwo bɔbɔa wo ɖokui la dzi, ke etsɔ ame vɔ̃ɖi ya xlã ɖe anyigba.
The Lord lifts up the meek; but brings sinners down to the ground.
7 Midzi ha na Yehowa kple akpedada, eye miƒo ha na míaƒe Mawu la kple kasaŋku.
Begin [the song] with thanksgiving to the Lord; sing praises on the harp to our God:
8 Etsɔa lilikpo xea yamee, eye wònana tsi dzana ɖe anyigba la dzi hewɔnɛ be gbe miena ɖe togbɛwo dzi.
who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who causes grass to spring up on the mountains, [[and green herb for the service of men; ]]
9 Enaa nuɖuɖu nyiwo kple akpaviã siwo le xɔxlɔ̃m nɛ.
and gives cattle their food, and to the young ravens that call upon him.
10 Eƒe dzidzɔ mele sɔ ƒe ŋusẽ me loo, alo amegbetɔ ƒe afɔ me o;
He will not take pleasure in the strength of a horse; neither is he well-pleased with the legs of a man.

The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear him, and in all that hope in his mercy.
12 O! Yerusalem, do Yehowa ɖe dzi, O! Zion, kafu wò Mawu la,
Alleluia, a Psalm of Aggaeus and Zacharias. Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise your God, O Sion.

For he has strengthened the bars of your gates; he has blessed your children within you.

He makes your borders peaceful, and fills you with the flour of wheat.
15 Eɖo eƒe sedede ɖe anyigba la dzi, eye eƒe nya kaka kple du ɖo teƒewo.
He sends his oracle to the earth: his word will run swiftly.
16 Ekaka tsikpe abe ɖetifu ene, eye wòkaka afu abe dzofi ene.
He gives snow like wool: he scatters the mist like ashes.
17 Eɖo kpetsi ɖe anyigba abe kpekui ene. Ame ka ate ŋu anɔ te ɖe wò ya fafɛ la nu?
Casting [forth] his ice like morsels: who shall stand before his cold?
18 Edɔ eƒe nya ɖa, eye wòlolo wo. Ede ŋusẽ eƒe yawo me, eye tsiwo de asi sisi me.
He shall send out his word, and melt them: he shall blow [with] his wind, and the waters shall flow.
19 Eɖe eƒe nya fia Yakob eye wòɖe eƒe sewo kple sededewo fia Israel.
He sends his word to Jacob, his ordinances and judgments to Israel.
20 Mewɔ esia na dukɔ bubu aɖeke o, eye womenya eƒe sewo o. Mikafu Yehowa.
He has not done so to any [other] nation; and he has not shown them his judgments.
