< Psalmowo 146 >
1 Mikafu Yehowa. O! luʋɔnye, kafu Yehowa.
Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.
2 Makafu Yehowa le nye agbemeŋkekewo katã me. Madzi kafukafuha na nye Mawu la, zi ale si mele agbe.
I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.
3 Migaɖo dzi ɖe dziɖulawo ŋu o, eye migaka ɖe amegbetɔ kodzogbea, si mate ŋu axɔ na ame o la dzi o.
[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].
4 Ne woƒe gbɔgbɔ do go le wo me la, wogatrɔna zua kewɔ, gbe ma gbe ke woƒe ɖoɖo siwo katã wowɔ la zua tofloko.
And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.
5 Woayra ame si ƒe xɔnametɔ nye Yakob ƒe Mawu la, eye eƒe mɔkpɔkpɔ le Yehowa, eƒe Mawu la me.
But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.
6 Eya ame si wɔ dziƒo kple anyigba, atsiaƒu kple nu siwo katã le eme, Yehowa nye nuteƒewɔla tegbetegbe.
He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.
7 Etsoa afia na ame siwo wote ɖe anyi, eye wònaa nuɖuɖu dɔwuitɔwo. Yehowae naa ablɔɖe gamenɔlawo.
He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.
8 Yehowa ʋua ŋku na ŋkuagbãtɔwo, Yehowa fɔa ame siwo wote ɖe anyi la ɖe dzi, Yehowa lɔ̃a ame dzɔdzɔewo ƒe nya.
Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].
9 Yehowa kpɔa amedzrowo ta, eye wònye tsyɔ̃eviwo kple ahosiwo hã ta kpɔla. Ke etɔtɔa ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe mɔwo.
Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].
10 Yehowa le fia ɖum tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me. O! Zion, wò Mawu la aɖu fia le dzidzimewo katã me. Mikafu Yehowa.
Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
