< Psalmowo 143 >

1 David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, se nye gbedodoɖa, lé to ɖe nye nublanuiɣli ŋu, eye nàxɔ nam le wò nuteƒewɔwɔ kple dzɔdzɔenyenye ta.
A Melody of David. O Yahweh, hear my prayer, Give ear to my supplications, In thy faithfulness, answer me, in thy righteousness.
2 Mègabu fɔ wò dɔla o, elabena amegbetɔ aɖeke mele dzɔdzɔe le ŋkuwò me o.
Do not then enter into judgment with thy servant, for no one living, can appear just before thee.
3 Futɔ la ti yonyeme, egbãm ɖe anyigba, eye wòna menɔ viviti me abe ame siwo ku xoxo va yi la ene.
For an enemy hath pursued my soul, hath crushed, to the earth, my life, hath made me dwell in dark places, like the ancient dead.
4 Nu te nye gbɔgbɔ ŋu le menye, eye nye dzi wɔ yaa le menye.
Therefore hath my spirit, fainted concerning myself, Within me, hath, my heart, been confounded.
5 Meɖo ŋku blemaŋkekeawo dzi, hede ŋugble le wò dɔwɔwɔwo katã ŋuti, eye mebu nu siwo wò asiwo wɔ la ŋuti.
I have remembered the days of aforetime, I have talked with myself of every deed of thine, Of the work of thy hands, I would speak:
6 Mekeke nye abɔwo me na wò, eye nye luʋɔ ƒe ve me ƒu ɖe ŋuwò abe kuɖiɖinyigba ene. (Sela)
I have spread out my hands unto thee, My soul, is as a thirsty land, for thee. (Selah)
7 O! Yehowa, tɔ nam kaba, elabena nu te nye gbɔgbɔ ŋu. Mègaɣla wò mo ɖem o, ne menye nenema o la, manɔ abe ame siwo yi aʋlime ene.
Speedily answer me, O Yahweh, My spirit faileth, —Do not hide thy face from me, or I shall be made like unto them who go down into the pit.
8 Na ŋdi natsɔ wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la ƒe nya vɛ nam, elabena dziwòe meka ɖo. Fia mɔ si mato lam, elabena wòe medo nye luʋɔ ɖe dzi na.
Let me hear, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, for, in thee, have, I trusted, —Let me know the way in which I should walk, for, unto thee, have I uplifted my soul.
9 O! Yehowa, ɖem tso nye futɔwo ƒe asi me, elabena mewòe mebe ɖo.
Rescue me from my foes, O Yahweh, Unto thee, have I come seeking refuge.
10 Fiam ale si mawɔ wò lɔlɔ̃nu, elabena wòe nye nye Mawu; na wò Gbɔgbɔ nyui la nakplɔm to anyigba sɔsɔe dzi.
Teach me to do thy good pleasure, for, thou, art my God, —Thy spirit, is good, thou wilt set me down to rest in a level land.
11 O! Yehowa, le wò ŋkɔ la ta, kpɔ nye agbe ta, le wò dzɔdzɔenyenye ta, ɖem le xaxa me.
For the sake of thy Name, O Yahweh, wilt thou give unto me life, In thy righteousness, wilt thou bring forth, out of distress, my soul;
12 Le wò lɔlɔ̃ si meʋãna o la ta, mia nu na nye futɔwo; tsrɔ̃ nye ketɔwo katã, elabena wò dɔlae menye.
And, in thy lovingkindness, wilt thou exterminate my foes, —and destroy all the adversaries of my soul, because, I, am thy servant.
