< Psalmowo 141 >
1 David ƒe ha. O! Yehowa, mele yɔwòm, va gbɔnye kaba. Se nye gbe, ne meyɔ wò.
Adonai, I have called on you. Come to me quickly! Listen to my voice when I call to you.
2 Nye gbedodoɖa neva gbɔwò abe dzudzɔ ʋeʋĩ ene, eye na be nye asi siwo medo ɖe dzi la, nanɔ na wò abe fiẽvɔsa ene.
Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.
3 O! Yehowa, ɖo dzɔla nye nu ŋu, eye nɔ ŋudzɔ ɖe nye nuyi ƒe ʋɔtru ŋu.
Set a watch, Adonai, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.
4 Mègana be woahe nye dzi ɖe nu vɔ̃ɖi ŋuti, be mayi gome kpɔ ge le nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔwɔ me kple ŋutsu, nu vɔ̃ɖi wɔlawo o, eye mègaɖe mɔ be maɖu woƒe nuɖuɖu viviwo o.
Don’t incline my heart to any evil thing, to practice deeds of wickedness with men who work iniquity. Don’t let me eat of their delicacies.
5 Na ame dzɔdzɔe naƒom, enye dɔmenyo wòwɔ nam, na wòaka mo nam, enye ami wòsi ɖe ta nam. Nye ta magbe exɔxɔ o. Gake nye gbedodoɖa tsia tsitre ɖe ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe wɔnawo ŋu ɖaa,
Let the upright strike me, it is kindness; let him reprove me, it is like oil on the head; don’t let my head refuse it; Yet my prayer is always against evil deeds.
6 woatutu woƒe dziɖulawo tso togbɛwo dzi aƒu agame, eye ame vɔ̃ɖiwo anya be megblɔ nye nyawo memie ɖe eteƒe.
Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock. They will sh'ma ·hear obey· my words, for they are well spoken.
7 Woagblɔ be, “Abe ale si ame ŋlɔa nu hedzoboa anyigbae ene la, nenemae woakaka míaƒe ƒuwoe ɖe yɔdowo nu.” (Sheol )
“As when one plows and breaks up the earth, our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol ·Place of the dead·.” (Sheol )
8 O! Aƒetɔ Yehowa, meda nye ŋkuwo ɖe dziwò, mewòe mebe ɖo, mègatsɔm na ku o.
For my eyes are on you, Adonai, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Don’t leave my soul destitute.
9 Ɖem le mɔ siwo wotre nam la me, tso mɔkli si nu tovo wɔlawo ɖo ɖi la me.
Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of the workers of iniquity.
10 Na ame vɔ̃ɖiwo naɖo woawo ŋutɔ ƒe ɖɔwo me, ne matso eme ayi le dedinɔnɔ me.
Let the wicked fall together into their own nets, while I pass by.
