< Psalmowo 130 >
1 Mɔzɔha. O! Yehowa, mele koko ƒom na wò tso nye dzi me ke.
Out of the depths I have cried to you, Adonai.
2 O! Aƒetɔ, ɖo to nye gbe. Wò to nenɔ te nàse nye nublanuiɣli.
Lord, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.
3 O! Yehowa, ne àlé amewo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo ɖe agbalẽ me ada ɖi la, O! Aƒetɔ, ame ka ate ŋu anɔ te?
If you, Yah, kept a record of depravities (moral evils), Lord, who could stand?
4 Ke wò la, tsɔtsɔke le gbɔwò, eya ta wovɔ̃a wò ɖo.
But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.
5 Mele Yehowa ƒe asinu kpɔm, nye luʋɔ le lalam, eye metsɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe eƒe nya dzi.
I wait for Adonai. My soul waits. I hope in his word.
6 Nye luʋɔ le lalam na Aƒetɔ la wu ale si zãɖialawo kpɔa mɔ na ŋu ƒe keke; mebe wu ale si zãɖialawo kpɔa mɔ na ŋu ƒe keke.
My soul longs for 'Adonay [Lord] more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.
7 O! Israel, tsɔ wò mɔkpɔkpɔ da ɖe Yehowa dzi, elabena lɔlɔ̃ matrɔ le Yehowa si, eye ɖeɖe blibo le eya amea gbɔ.
Israel [God prevails], hope in Adonai, for with Adonai there is chesed ·loving-kindness·. With him is abundant redemption.
8 Eya ŋutɔ aɖe Israel tso eƒe nu vɔ̃wo katã me.
He will redeem Israel [God prevails] from all their depravities (moral evils).
