< Psalmowo 120 >

1 Mɔzɔha. Meyɔ Yehowa le nye xaxa me, eye wòtɔ nam.
In my distress, I cried to Adonai. He answered me.
2 O! Yehowa, ɖem, tso aʋatsonuyiwo kple alakpaɖewo ƒe asi me.
Deliver my soul, Adonai, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.
3 O! Alakpaɖe, nu ka wòawɔ na wò, eye nu ka wòatsɔ akpee na wò?
What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue?
4 Atsɔ aʋawɔla ƒe aŋutrɔ ɖaɖɛwo ahe to na wòe kpe ɖe yɔkuti ƒe dzoka xɔxɔwo ŋuti.
Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Baba nam be mele Mesek, eye mele Kedar ƒe agbadɔwo me!
Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar!
6 Menɔ ame siwo lé fu ŋutifafa la dome wòdidi fũu akpa.
My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace.
7 Ŋutifafamee menye, gake ne meƒo nu la, woawo kpea aʋa.
I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.
