1 Mikafu Yehowa. O! Mi Yehowa ƒe dɔlawo, mikafui, mikafu Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ.
Alleluia. Praise the Lord, you servants [of his], praise, the name of the Lord.
2 Woakafu Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ tso fifia yi ɖe mavɔ me ke.
Let the name of the Lord be blessed, from this present time and for ever.
3 Woakafu Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ tso ɣeyiɣi si ɣe adze va se ɖe esi wòaɖo to ɖe afi si wòɖoa to ɖo.
From the rising of the sun to his setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised.
4 Yehowa nye gã ɖe dukɔwo katã dzi, eye eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe gbɔ dziƒowo ta.
The Lord is high above all the nations; his glory is above the heavens.
5 Ame kae le abe Yehowa, míaƒe Mawu la ene, ame si nɔ anyi ɖe fiazikpui dzi le dziƒo,
Who is as the Lord our God? who dwells in the high places,
6 eye wòbɔbɔ be yeakpɔ dziƒowo kple anyigba ɖa?
and [yet] looks upon the low things in heaven, and on the earth:
7 Efɔ ame dahe ɖe tsitre tso ke me, eye wòfɔ hiãtɔ ɖe dzi tso dzowɔ me;
who lifts up the poor from the earth, and raises up the needy from the dunghill;
8 hetsɔ wo ɖo dumegãwo xa, ɛ̃, woƒe dumegãwo xa.
to set him with princes, [even] with the princes of his people:
9 Ame si na konɔ nɔa eƒe aƒe me, hekpɔa dzidzɔ abe viwo dada ene. Mikafu Yehowa.
who settles the barren [woman] in a house, [as] a mother rejoicing over children.
