< Psalmowo 112 >
1 Mikafu Yehowa. Woayra ŋutsu si vɔ̃a Yehowa, eye wòkpɔa dzidzɔ vevie le eƒe sewo ŋu.
Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.
2 Viawo anye ŋusẽtɔwo le anyigba la dzi, eye woayra dzi dzɔdzɔetɔwo ƒe dzidzime.
Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].
3 Kesinɔnu kple nu nyuiwo le eƒe aƒe me, eye eƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye nɔa anyi ɖikaa.
Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.
4 Le viviti me gɔ̃ hã la, kekeli klẽna na ame dzɔdzɔewo, nenema ke wònɔna na ame si vea ame nu, kpɔa nublanui, eye wòwɔa nu dzɔdzɔe.
Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.
5 Nyui ava na ame si nyoa dɔ me, doa nugbana faa, eye wòwɔa eƒe nuwo to mɔ dzɔdzɔe dzi.
Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.
6 Vavã, maʋã akpɔ o; woaɖo ŋku ame dzɔdzɔe dzi tegbee.
Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].
7 Mavɔ̃ na nya vɔ̃ sese o, eƒe dzi li ke, eye wòkana ɖe Yehowa dzi.
They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.
8 Mavɔ̃ naneke o, elabena dzi le eƒo; eye mlɔeba la, akpɔ eƒe futɔwo ta ɖa le dziɖuɖu me.
They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.
9 Ema eƒe kesinɔnuwo na ame dahewo fũu, eƒe dzɔdzɔenyenye li tegbee, eye woakɔ eƒe dzo ɖe dzi bobobo le bubu me.
They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.
10 Ame vɔ̃ɖi akpɔe, eye dzi akui, aɖu aɖukli, avɔ le eme keŋkeŋkeŋ. Ame vɔ̃ɖiwo ƒe dzimedidiwo azu tofloko.
Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
