< Psalmowo 11 >
1 David ƒe ha na hɛnɔ la. Yehowae mesi tso. Aleke miele gbɔgblɔm nam be, “Dzo abe xevi ene nàyi ɖe wò to dzi?
[For the Chief Musician. By David.] In Jehovah, I take refuge. How can you say to my soul, "Flee as a bird to your mountain."
2 Elabena kpɔ ɖa, ame vɔ̃ɖiwo he woƒe da me; wotsɔ woƒe aŋutrɔwo ɖo datikawo ŋuti be woada ame siwo dza le woƒe dzi me la le blukɔ me.
For, look, the wicked bend their bows. They set their arrows on the strings, that they may shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3 Esi wole gɔmeɖokpeawo gbãm la, nu ka dzɔdzɔetɔ la awɔ?”
If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 Yehowa le eƒe gbedoxɔ kɔkɔe la me; Yehowa le eƒe fiazikpui dzi le dziƒo. Elé ŋku ɖe amegbetɔviwo ŋu, eye wòdo wo kpɔ.
Jehovah is in his holy temple. Jehovah is on his throne in heaven. His eyes look upon the poor. His eyes examine the descendants of Adam.
5 Yehowa doa ame dzɔdzɔe kpɔna, ke eƒe luʋɔ tsri ame vɔ̃ɖiwo kple ame siwo lɔ̃a ŋutasesẽ.
Jehovah examines the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence his soul hates.
6 Ana dzoka xɔxɔ kple aŋɔ dzodzoe nadza ɖe ame vɔ̃ɖiwo dzi, eye ya xɔdzo anye wo tɔ gome.
On the wicked he will rain blazing coals; fire, sulfur, and scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
7 Elabena Yehowae nye dzɔdzɔetɔ, elɔ̃a nuteƒewɔwɔ; ame siwo dza le woƒe dzi me la akpɔ eƒe ŋkume.
For Jehovah is righteous. He loves righteousness. The upright shall see his face.
