< Psalmowo 105 >

O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 Midzi ha nɛ, midzi kafukafuha nɛ, miɖe gbeƒã eƒe nukunuwɔwɔwo.
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 Midi Yehowa, mibia eƒe ŋusẽ, midi eƒe ŋkume ɖaa.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 Miɖo ŋku nukunu siwo wòwɔ, eƒe dzesiwo kple eƒe ʋɔnudɔdrɔ̃wo dzi.
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 O! Eƒe dɔla Abraham ƒe dzidzimeviwo. O! Yakob ƒe viwo, ame siwo wòtia.
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 Eyae nye Yehowa, míaƒe Mawu la, eƒe ʋɔnudɔdrɔ̃ xɔ anyigba la katã dzi la me.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 Eɖo kpe edzi na Yakob abe sedede ene, eye na Israel abe nubabla mavɔ ene be,
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 “Wòe matsɔ Kanaanyigba la na, abe wò domenyinu ene.”
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 wotsa tso dukɔ me yi dukɔ me, tso fiaɖuƒe ɖeka me yi bubu me.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 Meɖe mɔ be ame aɖeke nate wo ɖe anyi o, le wo ta, wòka mo na fiawo be,
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 “Migaka asi nye amesiaminawo ŋu o, eye migawɔ nu vevi nye nyagblɔɖilawo o.”
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 Ena dɔ to ɖe anyigba la dzi, eye wògblẽ woƒe nuɖuɖukpɔtsoƒewo katã,
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 ke edɔ ŋutsu aɖe si woyɔna be Yosef, ame si wodzra abe kluvi ene la ɖe wo ŋgɔ.
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 Wode kunyowu afɔ nɛ, wode abi eŋu, eye wotsɔ gakɔsɔkɔsɔ de kɔ nɛ,
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 va se ɖe esime nya si wògblɔ ɖi la va eme, eye va se ɖe esime Yehowa ƒe nya naɖo kpe edzi, be nya si wògblɔ la nye nyateƒe.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 Fia la dɔ ame woyi ɖaɖee le game, eye dukɔ la dziɖula na ablɔɖee.
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 be wòade dɔ asi na eƒe dɔnunɔlawo ale si dze eŋu, eye wòafia nunya eƒe dumegãwo.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 Ale Israel ge ɖe Egiptenyigba dzi, eye Yakob nɔ Hamnyigba dzi abe amedzro ene.
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 ame siwo ƒe dzi wòtrɔ be woalé fu eƒe dukɔ la, eye woaɖo nugbe ɖe eƒe dɔlawo ŋu.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 Wowɔ eƒe dzesi gãwo le wo dome kple eƒe nukunuwo le Hamnyigba dzi.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Eɖo viviti ɖa, eye anyigba la dzi do blukɔ elabena ɖe wometsi tsitre ɖe eƒe nyawo ŋu oa?
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 Ena woƒe tsiwo trɔ zu ʋu, eye to esia me woƒe tɔmelãwo ku.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 Ena woƒe anyigba la dzi yɔ fũu kple akpɔkplɔwo, esiwo ge ɖe woƒe dumegãwo ƒe xɔgãwo me ke.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Eƒo woƒe wainkawo kple gbotiwo ƒu anyi, eye wòmu ati siwo le woƒe dukɔ me la ƒu anyi.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 Eƒo nu, eye ʋetsuviwo va ƒo ɖi, nenema kee nye abɔ gbogbo aɖewo hã;
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 woɖu numiemie mumu ɖe sia ɖe le woƒe anyigba la dzi, eye woɖu nuku ɖe sia ɖe si le bo dzi hã.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 Emegbe la, eƒo ŋgɔgbevi siwo katã le woƒe anyigba dzi la ƒu anyi, esiwo nye woƒe ŋutsunyenye ƒe kutsetse gbãtɔwo.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 Ke ekplɔ Israel do goe, wodo agba kple klosalo kple sika, eye ame beli aɖeke menɔ woƒe toawo dome o.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 Egipte kpɔ dzidzɔ esi wodo go dzo, elabena Israel ƒe ŋɔdzi lé wo.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 Ekeke lilikpo ɖe wo dzi abe avɔ ene, eye wòna dzo wo be wòanye akaɖi na wo le zã me.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 Wobiae, eye wòna tegliwo woɖu, eye wòtsɔ dziƒobolo ɖi ƒo na woe.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 Eʋu agakpe la, tsi do na wo bababa, eye wòsi to gbegbe la abe tɔsisi ene.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 Elabena eɖo ŋku eƒe ŋugbe kɔkɔe si wòdo na eƒe dɔla Abraham la dzi.
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 Ekplɔ eƒe dukɔ la do goe kple aseyetsotso, eƒe ame tiatiawo kple dzidzɔɣli.
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 Etsɔ dukɔwo ƒe anyigbawo na wo, eye nu si ame bubuwo ku kutri kpɔ la va zu domenyinu na wo.
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 Ale be woalé eƒe ɖoɖowo me ɖe asi, eye woawɔ eƒe sewo dzi. Mikafu Yehowa.
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
