< Psalmowo 102 >
1 Hiãtɔ aɖe ƒe gbedodoɖa, esi nu te eŋu, eye wòfa konyi le Yehowa ŋkume. O!
A Prayer for the Humbled One when he is about to faint, and, before Yahweh, poureth out his grief. O Yahweh, hear thou my prayer, and let, my cry for help, unto thee, enter in.
2 Mègaɣla wò ŋkume ɖem, ne mele xaxa me o. Trɔ wò to ɖe gbɔnye, eye ne meyɔ wò la, nàtɔ nam kaba.
Do not hide thy face from me, In the day when I am in distress, —Bend down unto me thine ear, In the day when I call, speedily answer me.
3 Elabena nye ŋkekewo nu va yi abe dzudzɔ ene, eye nye ƒuwo xɔ dzo hẽe abe dzokpo ene.
For, consumed in smoke, are my days, And, my bones, like a burning mass, are scorched through;
4 Nye dzi xɔ abi, eye wòyrɔ abe gbe ene. Meŋlɔ nye nuɖuɖu gɔ̃ hã be.
Smitten like herbage, so is my heart dried up, For I have forgotten to eat my food.
5 Le nye ŋeŋe sesĩe ta la, meɖi ku zu ƒu ɖeɖe.
At the noise of my groaning, my bone, hath cleaved, to my flesh:
6 Mele abe ʋlukuku si le gbegbe ene, alo abe ʋlukuku si le gli gbagbãwo tome ene.
I am like the pelican of the desert, I have become as an owl among ruins.
I have watched and am become, Like a bird sitting alone upon a housetop.
All the day, have mine enemies, reproached me, And, they who are mad against me, by me, have sworn.
9 Elabena meɖu dzowɔ abe nuɖuɖu ene, eye metsɔ aɖatsi tɔtɔ nye nunonoe,
For, ashes—like bread, have I eaten, And, my drink—with my tears, have I mingled;
Because of thine indignation and thy wrath, For thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.
11 Nye ŋkekewo le abe fiẽ ƒe vɔvɔli ene, eye meyrɔ abe gbe ene.
My days, are like a shadow extended, And, I, as green herbage, do wither.
12 O! Yehowa, wò la èle fia ɖum tegbetegbe, eye wò ŋkɔxɔxɔ li tso dzidzime yi dzidzime.
But, thou, O Yahweh, age-abidingly wilt remain, And the memorial of thee, to generation after generation.
13 Ke wò la àtso, akpɔ nublanui na Zion, elabena ɣeyiɣi de be nàve enu, ɛ̃, ɣeyiɣi ɖoɖi la de.
Thou, wilt arise, wilt have compassion upon Zion, Surely it is time to favour her, Surely the time appointed, hath come;
14 Elabena eƒe kpewo xɔ asi le wò dɔlawo gbɔ, eye eƒe ʋuʋudedi gɔ̃ hã ʋãa nublanuikpɔkpɔ le wo me.
Seeing that thy servants, take pleasure, in her stones, And, her dust, they favour:
15 Dukɔwo avɔ̃ Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ, eye anyigbadzifiawo katã ade bubu wò ŋutikɔkɔe ŋu.
That the nations may revere thy Name, O Yahweh, And all the kings of the earth, thy glory.
16 Elabena Yehowa agbugbɔ Zion atso, eye wòado le eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe me.
When Yahweh, hath built up, Zion, Hath appeared in his glory;
17 Aɖo hiãtɔwo ƒe gbedodoɖa ŋu, eye mado vlo woƒe kokoƒoƒo o.
Hath turned towards the prayer of the destitute, And not despised their prayer,
18 Miŋlɔ esia ɖi hena dzidzime siwo ava dzɔ, ale be ame siwo womedzi haɖe o la nakafu Yehowa be:
This, shall be written, for a later generation, And, a people to be created, will give praise unto Yah: —
19 “Yehowa kpɔ nu tso eƒe kɔkɔeƒe la, eye wòkpɔ anyigba tso dziƒo,
That he looked down, out of his holy height, Yahweh, from the heavens unto the earth, directed his gaze; —
20 be wòase gamenɔlawo ƒe ŋeŋe, eye wòaɖe ga ame siwo wotso kufia na.”
To hear the groaning of the prisoner, To set free, them who were appointed to death.
21 Ale woaɖe gbeƒã Yehowa ƒe ŋkɔ le Zion kple eƒe kafukafu le Yerusalem,
To the end the Name of Yahweh, might be celebrated in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem:
22 ne dukɔwo kple fiaɖuƒewo ƒo ƒu be woasubɔ Yehowa.
When the peoples, gather themselves together, And the kingdoms, to serve Yahweh.
23 Eŋe nye ŋusẽ le nye agbemɔ dzi, eye wòɖe nye ŋkekewo dzi kpɔtɔ,
He hath prostrated, in the way, my strength, —He hath shortened my days.
24 eya ta megblɔ be, “O! Nye Mawu, mègakplɔm dzoe le nye ŋkekewo ƒe titina o, wò ame si ƒe ƒewo li tso dzidzime yi dzidzime.
I said, O my GOD, do not remove me in the midst of my days, Throughout the generation of generations, are thy years;
Of old—the earth, thou didst found, And, the work of thy hands, are the heavens;
26 Woatsrɔ̃, ke wò ya ànɔ anyi ɖaa; woanyunyɔ abe avɔ ene, eye àɖɔli wo abe avɔ ene ahatsɔ wo aƒu gbe.
They, shall perish, But, thou, wilt abide; And, they all, like a garment, shall fall in pieces, As a vesture, wilt thou change them and they shall vanish;
27 Ke wò la, ègale ale si nènɔ, eye wò ƒewo mawu enu akpɔ o.
But, thou, art, the same, —And, thy years, shall have no end:
28 Wò dɔlawo ƒe viwo anɔ ŋkuwò me, eye woaɖo woƒe dzidzimeviwo anyi le ŋkuwò me.”
The children of thy servants, shall continue, —And, their seed, before thee, be established.
