< Filipitɔwo 3 >
1 Mlɔeba la, nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, mikpɔ dzidzɔ le Aƒetɔ la me. Meɖe fu nam be maŋlɔ nu mawo ke aɖo ɖe mi o, elabena wonyo na miaƒe dedinɔnɔ.
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
2 Minɔ ŋudzɔ na avu mawo, ŋutsu mawo, ame siwo wɔa funyafunya ŋutilã,
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
3 elabena mí ame siwo subɔna le Mawu ƒe gbɔgbɔ me lae nye aʋatsotso nyuitɔ, ame siwo kpɔa dzidzɔ le Kristo Yesu me, eye womeɖoa dzi ɖe ŋutilã ŋu o,
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
4 evɔ nye ya susu si ta wòle be maɖo dzi ɖe ŋutilã ŋu la le asinye hafi. Ne ame aɖe bu be yeate ŋu aɖo dzi ɖe ŋutilã ŋu la, nye la mewui,
Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:
5 elabena wotso aʋa nam le ŋkeke enyia gbe, metso Israel dukɔ kple Benyamin ƒe to la me, Hebritɔ tso Hebritɔwo me, le sea nu la, Farisitɔ menye.
Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the law, a Pharisee;
6 Ke le hamea yometiti me la, ame aɖeke mewum o, eye le dzɔdzɔenyenye si tso sea me nu la, mokakamanɔŋutɔ menye.
Concerning zeal, persecuting the Assembly; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
7 Gake meɖe asi le nu siwo katã mebuna tsã be wonye viɖenuwo la ŋu, eye metsɔ wo katã ƒu gbe be mate ŋu atsɔ nye xɔse kple mɔkpɔkpɔ ana Kristo ɖeka ko.
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Ɛ̃, azɔ la, ne metsɔ nu siawo katã sɔ kple viɖe gã si mekpɔ le Kristo Yesu, nye Aƒetɔ nyanya me la, womegaɖi naneke le ŋkunyeme o. Esia ta metsɔ nu mawo katã ƒu gbe, eye mebu wo aɖukpodzinuwoe, be nye asi nasu Kristo dzi,
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
9 eye mawɔ ɖeka kplii. Azɔ la, nyemegaɖoa ŋu ɖe nye dɔ nyui wɔwɔ ŋuti alo Mawu ƒe seawo dzi wɔwɔ ŋuti be woaɖem o, ke boŋ meɖoa dzi ɖe Kristo ŋuti be aɖem; elabena mɔ nyuitɔ si dzi míato awɔ ɖeka kple Mawu lae nye xɔse kple ŋuɖoɖo ɖe Kristo ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ ko ŋu.
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
10 Azɔ la, meva kpɔe be esia koe nye mɔ si dzi míato anya Kristo, eye míanya nu hã tso ŋusẽ si fɔe ɖe agbe tso ame kukuwo dome la ŋu. To esia me la, míate ŋu ase nu si wònye be míakpe fu, aku kplii la hã gɔme.
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 Eya ta nu ka kee adzɔ hã la, nye hã manye ame siwo akpɔ gome le ame kukuwo ƒe tsitretsitsi kple woƒe agbe yeye la me la dometɔ ɖeka.
If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Menye ɖe mele gbɔgblɔm be nye asi su nu siawo katã dzi xoxo alo wowɔm mede blibo xoxo o, ke boŋ mele ŋusẽ dom nu be nye asi nasu nu si ta Kristo Yesu hã ƒe asi su dzinye ɖo la dzi.
Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, nyemebu ɖokuinye be nye asi su edzi o. Ke nu ɖeka si mewɔna lae nye be meŋlɔa nu siwo le megbenye la be, eye mewɔa nye ŋutete ŋuti dɔ be maɖo nu si le ŋgɔnye la gbɔ.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 Mele dzesiɖoƒe la minyam vevie be maxɔ dziɖuɖudzesi si ta Mawu yɔm le Kristo Yesu me ɖo la be manyi agbe mavɔ ƒe dome.
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
15 Aleae wòle be mí ame siwo tsi le xɔsea me la, míakpɔ nu siawoe. Ke ne miaƒe susu to vovo le nu siawo dometɔ aɖe ŋu la, Mawu aɖe eya hã afia mi.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
16 Ke mina míanɔ agbe ɖe nu si dzi míaƒe asi su la nu.
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.
17 Nɔvi lɔlɔ̃awo, mikpe ɖe ame bubuwo ŋu ne miasrɔ̃ nye agbe ƒe kpɔɖeŋu, eye mialé ŋku ɖe ame siwo nɔa agbe ɖe ɖoɖo siwo míewɔ na mi la nu.
Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.
18 Elabena megblɔe na mi zi geɖe kpɔ, eye megale egblɔm na mi fifia kple aɖatsi be ame geɖewo le kristotɔwo ƒe mɔ dzi zɔm, gake le nyateƒe me la, wonye Kristo ƒe atitsoga la ƒe futɔwo.
( For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Woƒe nuwuwu anye tsɔtsrɔ̃, woƒe ƒodo nye mawu na wo, eye woƒe ŋutikɔkɔe nye woƒe ŋukpe. Wobua ta me tso anyigbadzinuwo ko ŋu.
Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
20 Ke míawo la, dziƒoe nye mía de, eye míele mɔ kpɔm na Ɖela si nye Aƒetɔ Yesu Kristo be agatso afi ma ava,
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 ame si, to ŋusẽ si na wòtsɔ nu sia nu de eƒe ŋusẽ te me la, aɖɔli míaƒe ŋutilã siwo ŋu gbɔdzɔgbɔdzɔ le la be woanɔ abe eƒe ŋutikɔkɔeŋutilã ene.
Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
