And whanne Balaam siy that it pleside the Lord that he schulde blesse Israel, he yede not as he `hadde go bifore, `that he schulde seke fals dyuynyng `bi chiteryng of briddis, but he dresside his face ayens the desert,
2 Esi Balaam kpɔ eŋgɔ la, ekpɔ Israelviwo woƒu asaɖa anyi ɖe woƒe to vovovoawo me. Tete Mawu ƒe Gbɔgbɔ ɖiɖi ɖe edzi,

he seide, Balaam, the sone of Beor, seide, a man whois iye is stoppid seide,
4 ame si sea Mawu ƒe nya la ƒe nyagblɔɖi, ame si xɔa ɖeɖefia tso Ŋusẽkatãtɔ la gbɔ, ame si tsyɔa mo anyi, eye eƒe ŋku nɔa te la ƒe nyawo.

5 “O! Yakob, wò agbadɔwo dzeani loo! O! Israel, wò nɔƒewo nyo!

6 “Wokeke abe balimewo ene. Wole abe amabɔ siwo le tɔsisi to ene. Wole abe aloe si Yehowa do ene. Wole abe sedati le tɔwo to ene.
as valeys ful of woodis, and moiste gardyns bisidis floodis, as tabernaclis whiche the Lord hath set, as cedris bisidis watris;
7 Tsi asi tso woƒe tɔkpowo me. Tsi anɔ woƒe kuwo me fũu. “Woƒe fia axɔ ŋkɔ wu Agag. Woado woƒe fiaɖuƒe ɖe dzi.

12 Balaam ɖo eŋu na Balak be, “Ɖe nyemegblɔe na wò ame dɔdɔwo

13 be ne Balak tsɔ klosalo kple sika de fiasã aɖe me wòyɔ kpikpikpi nam hã la, nyemate ŋu agblẽ Yehowa ƒe nyawo ɖi agblɔ nye ŋutɔ nye nyawo oa? Megblɔ be nya si Yehowa agblɔ la ko magblɔ!
Thouy Balaach schal yyue to me his hows ful of siluer and of gold, Y schal not mow passe the word of my Lord God, that Y brynge forth of myn herte ony thing, ethir of good ethir of yuel, but what euer thing the Lord schal seie, Y schal speke this?
14 “Ɛ̃, matrɔ azɔ ayi nye ŋutɔ nye amewo dome. Ke gbã la, na magblɔ nu si Israelviwo awɔ wò amewo la na wò!”

24 Tɔdziʋuwo atso Kipro ƒuta woaɖu Eber kple Asiria dzi, ke woaɖu woawo hã dzi.”

25 Ale Balaam kple Balak klã mɔ, eye wo dometɔ ɖe sia ɖe trɔ yi wo de.
And Balaam roos, and turnide ayen in to his place; and Balaach yede ayen bi the weye in which he cam.
