< Mika 3 >
1 Eye megblɔ be: “Miɖo to, mi Yakob ƒe kplɔlawo. Mi ame siwo le Israel ƒe aƒe dzi ɖum. Miawoe wòdze be mianya nyui tso vɔ̃ gbɔ
And he shall say, Hear now these words, you heads of the house of Jacob, and you remnant of the house of Israel; is it not for you to know judgment?
2 gake miawo boŋue gbe nu le nyui gbɔ eye mielɔ̃ vɔ̃. Mievuvu ayi le nye amewo ŋu ye mievuvu lã le woƒe ƒuwo ŋuti.
[who] hate good, and seek evil; [who] tear their skins off them, and their flesh off their bones:
3 Mieɖu nye amewo katã ƒe lã, vuvu ayi le wo ŋuti, gbã ƒu ɖe lãme na wo eye miefli wo abe ale si woflia adelã dea zee ene.”
even as they devoured the flesh of my people, and stripped their skins off them, and broke their bones, and divided [them] as flesh for the caldron, and as meat for the pot,
4 Ekema woado ɣli ayɔ Yehowa gake matɔ na wo o eye aɣla eƒe mo ɖe wo ɖe nu vɔ̃ si wowɔ la ta.
thus they shall cry to the Lord, but he shall not listen to them; and he shall turn away his face from them at that time, because they have done wickedly in their practices against themselves.
5 Ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi: “Mi nyagblɔɖila siwo kplɔa nye amewo tranae; ne ame aɖe na nu wo, woɖu la, wodoa ŋutifafa nɛ; ke ne ame aɖe mena nu wo o la, wohoa aʋa ɖe eŋuti.
Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets that lead my people astray, that bit with their teeth, and proclaim peace to them; and [when] nothing was put into their mouth, they raised up war against them:
6 Zã ado aƒo xlã mi eye miegale ŋutega kpɔ ge o; viviti atsyɔ mia dzi eye Mawu ƒe gbe mava na mi o. Ɣe aɖo to ɖe mia dzi eye ŋkeke ado viviti na mi.
therefore there shall be night to you instead of a vision, and there shall be to you darkness instead of prophecy; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be dark upon them.
7 Miaƒe nukpɔlawo aɖu ŋukpe eye woado ŋukpe miaƒe nukalawo. Woatsɔ asi atsyɔ mo elabena gbe aɖeke metso Mawu gbɔ na wo o.”
And the seers of night-visions shall be ashamed, and the prophets shall be laughed to scorn: and all the people shall speak against them, because there shall be none to listen to them.
8 Ke nye la, ŋusẽ yɔ menye taŋtaŋ, Yehowa ƒe Gbɔgbɔ le dzinye eya ta matsɔ dzɔdzɔenyenye kple ŋusẽ aɖe gbeƒã Yakob ƒe nu tovowo wɔwɔ kple Israel ƒe nu vɔ̃.
Surely I will strengthen myself with the Spirit of the Lord, and of judgment, and of power, to declare to Jacob his transgressions, and to Israel his sins.
9 Miɖo tom, mi Yakob ƒe aƒe ƒe kplɔlawo kple mi ame siwo le Israel ƒe aƒe dzi ɖum. Mi ame siwo gbe nu le dzɔdzɔenyenye gbɔ eye mietrɔa gbo nu siwo katã le dzɔdzɔe.
Hear now these words, you chiefs of the house of Jacob, and the remnant of the house of Israel, who hate judgment, and pervert all righteousness;
10 Mi ame siwo tu Zion ɖe ʋukɔkɔɖeanyi dzi kple Yerusalem ɖe vɔ̃ɖinyenye dzi.
who build up Sion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.
11 Miaƒe kplɔlawo xɔa zãnu hafi drɔ̃a ʋɔnu. Miaƒe nunɔlawo fiaa nu ɖe ga si woaxɔ ta eye miaƒe Nyagblɔɖilawo gblɔa nya ɖi ɖe ga ta gake woziɔna ɖe Yehowa ŋu gblɔna be: “Yehowa le mia dome eya ta vɔ̃ aɖeke mawɔ mí o.”
The heads thereof have judged for gifts, and the priests thereof have answered for hire, and her prophets have divined for silver: and [yet] they have rested on the Lord, saying, Is not the Lord among us? no evil shall come upon us.
12 Miawo ta woaŋlɔ Zion abe agble ene, Yerusalem azu glikpo gã ɖeka eye to si dzi gbedoxɔ le la azu togbɛ si zu ave.
Therefore on your account Sion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall be as a storehouse of fruits, and the mountain of the house as a grove of the forest.
