< Mika 2 >
1 Baba na mi ame siwo ɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖi be yewoawɔ kple ame siwo ɖoa nu vɔ̃ɖi le woƒe abawo dzi. Ŋdi kanya la, wowɔa nu siwo woɖo elabena ŋusẽ le wo si be woawɔe.
How disastrous it will be for those who devise evil plans as they lie awake at night. They get up in the morning to carry them out, because they have the power to do just that.
2 Ne agble dim wole la, woxɔnɛ sesẽtɔe; ne xɔ dim wole la, woxɔa eya hã kple akpasesẽ. Nenye be anyigba ɖeka alo xɔ ɖeka ma koe le amea si hã la, woxɔnɛ le esi. Ale mietea ŋu xɔa amea kple eƒe domenyinuwo siaa sesẽtɔe.
They seize any fields they want. They take any houses they want. They cheat people of their houses, and steal their inheritance.
3 Eya ta ale Yehowa gblɔe nye esi, “Meɖo gbegblẽ ɖe ame siawo ŋuti eye miate ŋu aɖe mia ɖokuiwo ɖa le gbegblẽ sia me o. Miate ŋu agazɔ dadatɔe o elabena anye ɣeyiɣi vɔ̃.
So this is what the Lord says. Watch out! I am planning to bring disaster on such families. They won't be able to escape. You will no longer walk around arrogantly, for this will be a time of disaster.
On that day they will make up a saying to taunt you. With a mocking lament they will say, “We are totally ruined! Our possessions are being sold off. They've taken everything away, and given our fields to your conquerors.”
5 Eya ta ne ɣeyiɣi de be woadzidze nu ama anyigba la, ame aɖeke manɔ mía si le Yehowa ƒe asaɖa me amae na mí o.
Consequently at that time there will be none of you in the assembly of the Lord responsible for the division of the land.
6 Woƒe Nyagblɔɖilawo gblɔ nam be: “Mègagblɔ nya ɖi tso nu siawo ŋuti o elabena ŋukpe mava mía dzi o.”
But you preach at me, saying, “Don't preach such things. Don't prophesy like this. Such a humiliation won't happen to us!”
7 O Yakob ƒe aƒe, aleke woagblɔ nya siae? “Ɖe Yehowa ƒe gbɔgbɔ ado dɔmedzoea? Ɖe esiawo tso egbɔa? “Ɖe nye nyawo mewɔa nyui na ame siwo lé mɔ dzɔdzɔe tsɔ oa?
Should you talk like that, descendants of Jacob? You ask, “Can the Lord run out of patience? Is this what he does?” Are not my words good to those who do what is right? asks the Lord.
8 Ke nye dukɔ tso ɖe ŋunye abe woƒe futɔ ene. Mieɖe awu xɔasiwo le ame siwo va le eme tsom le ŋutifafa me la ŋuti abe asrafo siwo tso aʋa gbɔ la ene.
Lately my people have risen up against me like an enemy. You steal the coats off the backs of those passing by, men returning from war who expect to be safe in their homeland.
9 Mienya nyɔnu siwo le nye dukɔ me la le woƒe aƒe nyuiwo me. Miexɔ nye yayra le wo viwo si tegbee.
You drive the women of my people from their comfortable homes; you have robbed their children of my blessings forever.
10 Mitso ne miadzo le afi sia, elabena esia menye dzudzɔƒe wònye na mi o; elabena wodo gu teƒe la, eye wogbãe, ale be womagate ŋu aɖɔe ɖo o.
Get up! Leave! For this is not a place for you to stay. It is defiled and totally ruined.
11 Ne alakpatɔ kple ameblela aɖe va gblɔ be magblɔ nya ɖi be, ‘Wain kple aha nabɔ na mi fũu’ la, eyae nye nyagblɔɖila si tɔgbi ame siawo lɔ̃na.”
If a false prophet should come to you and lie, saying, “I'll preach to you about the virtues of wine and alcohol,” he would be the perfect prophet for your kind of people.
12 “O Yakob, magaƒo mia nu ƒu. Maƒo Israel ƒe ame mamlɛawo nu ƒu godoo. Maƒo wo nu ƒu abe alẽwo ene ɖe lãkpɔ me eye woanɔ abe alẽha le gbeɖuƒe ene.
I will certainly gather all of you, descendants of Jacob, I will certainly bring back together those who are left, Israel. I will place them like sheep in the fold, like a flock in its pasture. The land will be filled with people celebrating.
13 Ame si gbãa agbowo la adze ŋgɔ na wo eye woato agboawo me ado go. Woƒe fia adze ŋgɔ na wo eye Yehowa anye woƒe kplɔla.”
The One who opens the way for them will lead them, breaking through the gate and going out. Their King will lead them; the Lord himself will be at their head.
