< Mateo 8 >
1 Esi Yesu ɖi tso togbɛ la dzi gbɔna la, ameha gã aɖe kplɔe ɖo hoo.
WHEN he had descended from the mountain, great multitudes clave to him.
2 Kasia anyidzela aɖe zɔ tẽe va dze klo ɖe eƒe akɔme, eye wòde ta agu nɛ hegblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, ne èlɔ̃ la, na ŋutinye nakɔ.”
And, behold, a certain leper came (and) worshipped him, and said, My Lord, if thou art willing, thou canst cleanse me.
3 Enumake Yesu ka asi ŋutsu la ŋu gblɔ nɛ be, “Mèlɔ̃, ŋutiwò nekɔ.” Ale anyidɔ la bu le eŋuti enumake.
And Jeshu extended his hand, and touched him, and said, I am willing: be clean; and in that very hour his leprosy was cleansed.
4 Yesu yi edzi gblɔ nɛ be, “Kpɔ egbɔ be mègblɔ nu sia na ame aɖeke o, ke boŋ yi nàtsɔ ɖokuiwò afia nunɔla la, eye nàna vɔsanu siwo Mose ɖo ɖi na ameŋukɔkɔ abe ɖaseɖiɖi na wo ene.”
And Jeshu said to him, See that thou tell no man, but go, show thyself to the priests, and offer the oblation that Musha required for their testimony.
5 Esi Yesu va ɖo Kapernaum la, aʋafia aɖe va egbɔ va ɖe kuku nɛ vevie be wòakpe ɖe ye ŋu.
Then when Jeshu had entered into Kapharnachum, a certain centurion approached him, and besought of him,
6 Egblɔ be, “Aƒetɔ, nye dɔla le lãmetutudɔ lém, emlɔ anyi ɖe aƒe me, eye wòle vevesese gã aɖe me.”
saying, My Lord, my child is lying in the house, paralysed and grievously tormented.
7 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Enyo, megbɔna be mada gbe le wò dɔnɔ la ŋu na wò.”
Jeshu saith to him, I will come and heal him.
8 Ke aʋafia la ya gblɔ nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, nyemedze be nàva nye aƒe me o, eye mehiã be nàva hã o. Ke gblɔ nya ɖeka ko, eye nye dɔla la ƒe lãme nasẽ.
The centurion answered and saith, My Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldst come beneath my roof; only speak in a word, and my child shall be healed.
9 Elabena nye ŋutɔ hã menye ame le ŋusẽ te, eye asrafowo le nye hã tenye. Meɖea gbe na tenyeviwo be, ‘Miyi afii,’ eye woyina, ‘Miva afii,’ eye wovana, megblɔna na nye dɔla be, ‘Wɔ esi kple ekemɛ,’ eye wòwɔnɛ.”
For I also am a man under authority, and under my hand there are soldiers. I say to this one, Go, and he goeth; and to the other, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth.
10 Yesu ƒe nu ku le aʋafia la ƒe nyawo ŋuti. Azɔ etrɔ ɖe ameha la ŋu gblɔ be, “Le nyateƒe me la, nyemekpɔ xɔse sia tɔgbi le Israelnyigba dzi kpɔ o.
When Jeshu heard this, he was moved with admiration, and said to those with him, Truly I say to you, that in Isroel I have not found faith like this.
11 Mele egblɔm na mi be, ame geɖewo atso xexea me ƒe dzogoe eneawo katã dzi age ɖe dziƒofiaɖuƒe la me, eye woanɔ anyi kple Abraham, Isak kple Yakob.
But I tell you, That many shall come from the east, and from the west, and shall recline with Abraham, and Is'hok, and Jakub, in the kingdom of the heavens;
12 Ke Israelvi geɖewo, ame siwo wodzra fiaɖuƒe la ɖo ɖi na ya la, woatsɔ wo aƒu gbe ɖe viviti tsiɖitsiɖi la me, afi si avifafa kple aɖukliɖuɖu anɔ.”
but the children of the kingdom shall go forth into outer darknesses; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
13 Yesu gatrɔ ɖe Romasrafowo ƒe amegã la ŋu hegblɔ nɛ be, “Heyi aƒe me, nu si nèxɔ se be ate ŋu ava eme la, va eme xoxo.” Le ɣeyiɣi si me Yesu nɔ nya siawo gblɔm la, dɔla la ƒe lãme sẽ.
And Jeshu said unto the centurion, Go; as thou hast believed, it shall be to thee. And his child was healed in that very hour.
14 Esi Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo va Petro ƒe aƒe me la, ekpɔ Petro lɔ̃xo wònɔ anyimlɔƒe le ŋudza lém.
AND Jeshu came to the house of Shemun, and saw his mother-in-law lying, a fever having seized her.
15 Yesu ka asi eƒe asi ŋu, eye eƒe lãme sẽ enumake. Ale wòtso, eye wòsubɔe.
And he touched her with his hand, and the fever left her; and she arose and ministered to them.
16 Gbe ma gbe ƒe fiẽ la, wokplɔ ame geɖe siwo gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃wo nɔ fu ɖem na la va Yesu gbɔ, eye ne wògblɔ nya ɖeka ko la, gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃awo doa go le ameawo me hesina dzona. Ale dɔnɔwo katã ƒe lãme sẽ.
And when it was evening, they brought before him many demoniacs, and he cast out their devils by a word; and all those who were heavily afflicted he healed.
17 Esia wu Nyagblɔɖila Yesaya ƒe nyawo nu be, “Etsɔ míaƒe vevesesewo, eye wòde ta míaƒe dɔlélewo te.”
So was fulfilled what had been spoken by the prophet Eshaia, who said, That he should take our griefs, and bear our infirmities.
18 Esi Yesu kpɔ be ameha geɖewo nɔ ye gbɔ vam la, edɔ eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo be woadi ʋu aɖe vɛ ne yewoatsɔ atso ƒu la ayi eƒe go evelia dzi.
Now when Jeshu saw the great multitudes which encompassed him, he commanded that they should go to the opposite shore.
19 Hafi wòaɖe nu le nya sia me la, Yudatɔwo ƒe agbalẽfiala aɖe va egbɔ gblɔ nɛ be, “Nufiala, nye la, makplɔ wò ɖo ayi afi sia afi si nàyi la.”
And a certain scribe approached him, and said, Rabi, I will come after thee to the place whither thou goest.
20 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Abeiwo la, do le wo si wodɔa eme, xeviwo la, atɔ le wo si wodɔa eme, gake Amegbetɔ Vi la mekpɔ afi si wòatsɔ ta aziɔ ɖo o.”
Jeshu saith to him, The foxes have their dens, and the fowls of heaven a bower, but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21 Ame bubu aɖe si nye eyomedzelawo dometɔ ɖeka la hã gblɔ nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, ɖe mɔ nam mayi aɖaɖi fofonye gbã hafi.”
And another from his disciples said to him, My Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.
22 Yesu ɖo eŋu na ame sia hã be, “Dze yonyeme fifia, eye nàɖe asi le ame siwo ku le gbɔgbɔ me la ŋu be woaɖi woƒe ame kukuwo.”
But Jeshu said to him Come after me, and leave the dead ones burying their dead.
23 Azɔ ege ɖe ʋu aɖe me, eye eya kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dze mɔ ɖo ta ƒua ƒe go evelia dzi.
AND when Jeshu had ascended into the ship, his disciples ascended with him.
24 Kasia ahom dziŋɔ aɖe de asi tutu me, eye ƒutsotsoewo de asi ŋeŋe me ɖe ʋua me. Le ɣeyiɣi sia katã me la, Yesu ŋutɔ ya nɔ alɔ̃ dɔm bɔkɔɔ.
And, behold, a great commotion was made on the sea, insomuch that the vessel was covered by the waves; but Jeshu himself was asleep.
25 Nusrɔ̃lawo te ɖe eŋu enumake. Woʋuʋui sesĩe hegblɔ nɛ kple ɣli be, “Aƒetɔ, ɖe mí! Míele nyɔnyrɔm!”
And the disciples approached him, that they might awake him, saying to him, Our Lord, deliver us, we are perishing!
26 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “O, mi xɔse ʋɛ tɔwo! Nu ka wɔ miele dzodzom nyanyanya kple vɔvɔ̃ ale?” Azɔ etsi tsitre, eye wòblu ɖe ahom la ta. Ya sesẽ la tɔ enumake, eye ɖoɖoe zi toŋtoŋtoŋ le ƒua dzi.
And Jeshu said to them, Why are you fearful, you little in faith? Then he arose, and forbade the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 Nusrɔ̃lawo ƒe nu ku ŋutɔ, ale wogblɔ na wo nɔewo be, “Ame ka gɔ̃e nye esia, be yaƒoƒo kple ƒutsotsoewo hã ɖoa toe mahã?”
But the men were struck with wonder, saying, What (being) is this, to whom the winds and the sea are obedient?
28 Esi wova ɖi go ɖe ƒua ƒe go kemɛ dzi le Gadaratɔwo ƒe anyigba me la, ame eve siwo me gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃wo xɔ aƒe ɖo la ƒu du va kpee. Ame eve siawo ƒe nɔƒee nye ameɖibɔ aɖe si le afi ma la me. Adã nɔa mo na wo, ale be ame aɖeke megatea ŋu toa afi ma lɔƒo o.
And when Jeshu came to the other side, to the region of the Godroyee, there met him two demoniacs, who came forth from the place of sepulchres, exceedingly malignant, insomuch that no man could pass by that way.
29 Esi wokpɔ Yesu la, wode asi ɣlidodo me be, “Nu ka dim wò Mawu ƒe Vi nèle le mía gbɔ? Ɖe nèva be yeawɔ fu mí hafi ɣeyiɣi la naɖoa?”
And they shouted, saying, What to us, and to thee, Jeshu, son of Aloha? Hast thou come hither before the time, to torment us?
30 Le ɣe ma ɣi me la, aƒehawo ƒe ha gã aɖe nɔ nu ɖum le afi ma lɔƒo.
Now there was at a distance from them a herd of many swine feeding.
31 Ale gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃awo ɖe kuku na Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Ne ènya mí do goe le ame siawo me la, na míayi aɖage ɖe ha mawo me.”
Those demons, therefore, supplicated from him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go into the herd of swine.
32 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Meɖe mɔ na mi, eya ta mido le ameawo me kaba!” Ale gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃awo do go le ame eveawo me ɖage ɖe haawo me; enumake haawo katã ƒu du sesĩe ɖage ɖe atsiaƒu si le afi ma la me doo, eye wono tsi ku.
Jeshu saith to them, Go: and immediately they went forth, and entered into the swine; and the whole herd rushed directly over the rock, and, plunging into the sea, perished in the waters.
33 Hakplɔlawo ŋutɔ lé du tsɔ sesĩe yi du si te ɖe afi ma ŋu la me, eye wogblɔ nu si dzɔ kple ame siwo me gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃ do go le la ƒe nyawo na dua me tɔwo.
And they who tended them, fled, and went into the city, and showed every thing that was done, and what concerned these demoniacs.
34 Ale le ɣeyiɣi kpui aɖe megbe ko la, dua me tɔwo katã do bibibi va ƒo zi ɖe Yesu ŋu. Esi wokpɔe la, woɖe kuku nɛ vevie be wòadzo le yewoƒe anyigba dzi.
the whole city came forth to meet Jeshu himself; and when they beheld him, they besought from him that he would remove from their coasts.
