< Mateo 25 >

1 Míatsɔ ɖetugbi ewo aɖewo ƒe ŋutinya asɔ kple dziƒofiaɖuƒe la. Ɖetugbi ewo siawo tsɔ woƒe akaɖiwo ɖe asi be yewoayi aɖakpe ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ aɖe.
“At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Wo dometɔ atɔ̃ nye abunɛtɔwo, eye ame atɔ̃ hã nye nunyalawo.
Five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 Abunɛtɔwo tsɔ woƒe akaɖiwo, ke wometsɔ ami kpe ɖe akaɖiawo ŋu o.
When those who were foolish took their lamps, they did not take oil with them,
4 Ke nunyalawo ya tsɔ ami ɖe woƒe goewo me kpe ɖe woƒe akaɖiawo ŋuti.
but the wise took oil in their flasks along with their lamps.
5 Eva dzɔ be ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la tsi megbe, ale alɔ̃ de asi ɖetugbiawo tsɔtsɔ me, eye womlɔ anyi dɔ alɔ̃.
When the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.
6 “Ke le zãtitina la, ɣli ɖi be, ‘Ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la va ɖo azɔ. Mido go va kpee hee!’
But in the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him.’
7 “Ɖetugbiawo katã fɔ, eye wodzra woƒe akaɖiawo ɖo.
Then all the virgins rose and trimmed their lamps.
8 Tete abunɛtɔawo gblɔ na nunyalawo be, ‘Mina miaƒe ami la ƒe ɖe mí, elabena míaƒe akaɖiawo le tsitsim.’
And the foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’
9 “Gake woɖo eŋu na abunɛtɔawo be, ‘Mía tɔ hã mesɔ gbɔ ade mia kple míawo nu o, eya ta miyi ne miadze ɖe na mia ɖokuiwo.’
But the wise replied, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and for you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
10 “Kaka woaɖe afɔ la, ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la va ɖo xoxo, eye ame siwo nɔ klalo la yi srɔ̃ɖeƒe la kplii, eye wotu agbo si le aƒea nu la.
But while they were on their way to buy it, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast. Then the door was shut.
11 “Emegbe la, ɖetugbi abunɛtɔ atɔ̃awo va do ɖe agboa nu nɔ ɣli dom be, ‘Aƒetɔ, ʋu agbo la na mí!’
Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us.’
12 “Aƒetɔ la ɖo eŋu na wo be, ‘Vavã mele egblɔm na mi bena, nyemenya mi o!’
But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 “Eya ta minɔ ŋudzɔ, eye miadzra ɖo, elabena mienya ŋkeke alo gaƒoƒo si dzi matrɔ ava o.
Therefore keep watch, for you do not know the day or the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
“For it is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his possessions to them.
15 “Etsɔ sidi akpe atɔ̃ na ame gbãtɔ, tsɔ sidi akpe eve na ame evelia, eye wòtsɔ sidi akpe ɖeka na ame etɔ̃lia. Ema ga la na wo ɖe woƒe ŋutete nu, eye le esia megbe la edzo yi mɔa dzi.
To one he gave five talents, to another two talents, and to another one talent, to each according to his ability. And he immediately went on his journey.
16 Ame si xɔ sidi akpe atɔ̃ la de asi asitsatsa me kplii enumake, eye eteƒe medidi hafi wògakpɔ sidi akpe atɔ̃ ɖe gatia dzi o.
The man who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made five more talents.
17 Ame si xɔ sidi akpe eve hã tsa asi kple etɔ, eye wògakpɔ sidi akpe eve bubu ɖe edzi.
In the same way, the man who had received the two talents also earned two more.
18 “Ke ame si xɔ sidi akpe ɖeka la ya yi ɖaɖe do ɖe anyigba, eye wòtsɔ eƒe Aƒetɔ ƒe ga la ɣla ɖe eme be wòanɔ dedie.
But the man who had received the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.
19 “Aƒetɔ la trɔ gbɔ le ŋkeke geɖewo megbe, eye wòyɔ dɔlawo be woava na akɔnta tso ga siwo wòtsɔ na wo la ŋuti.
“After a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
20 Ame si wòtsɔ sidi akpe atɔ̃ na la tsɔ sidi akpe ewo vɛ nɛ.
The man who had received the five talents came to him and brought the other five talents, saying, ‘Master, yoʋ entrusted me with five talents; behold, I have earned five more talents besides them.’
21 “Eƒe Aƒetɔ kafui ŋutɔ le eƒe dɔ nyui si wòwɔ la ta. Egblɔ na dɔla la be, ‘Wò dɔla nyui, èwɔ nuteƒe ŋutɔ, eya ta tso azɔ dzi la, matsɔ dɔ geɖe ade wò dzikpɔkpɔ te. Va ne nàkpɔ dzidzɔ kplim!’
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! Yoʋ have been faithful over a few things; I will set yoʋ over many things. Enter into the joy of yoʋr master.’
22 “Ame si xɔ sidi akpe eve la hã va gblɔ na Aƒetɔ la be, ‘Aƒetɔ, ètsɔ sidi akpe eve nam, gake megakpɔ sidi akpe eve bubu ɖe edzi.’
The man who had received the two talents also came to him and said, ‘Master, yoʋ entrusted me with two talents; behold, I have earned two more talents besides them.’
23 “Aƒetɔ la gblɔ nɛ kple dzidzɔ be, ‘Dɔ nyui aɖee nye ema nèwɔ. Dɔla dzɔdzɔe kple nuteƒewɔlae nènye. Esi nèɖi anukware le ga home sue sia ŋu dɔ wɔwɔ me ta la, tso azɔ dzi la, matsɔ ga geɖe ade asi na wò.’
His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! Yoʋ have been faithful over a few things; I will set yoʋ over many things. Enter into the joy of yoʋr master.’
24 “Ame si xɔ sidi akpe ɖeka la hã va do, eye wòdo dzi gblɔ na Aƒetɔ la be, ‘Aƒetɔ, menya be wò nya ɖe wòsẽ; eŋea nu le afi si mèƒã nu ɖo o, eye nèƒoa nu ƒu le afi si mewu nu ɖo o,
Then the man who had received the one talent came to him and said, ‘Master, I knew that yoʋ were a hard man, reaping where yoʋ did not sow and gathering where yoʋ scattered no seed.
25 ale menɔ vɔvɔ̃m be ne mekpɔ viɖe aɖe ɖe ga la dzi la, àxɔe le asinye bɔbɔe, eya ta metsɔ wò ga la ɣla ɖe to, eye esi nèva la, mehee ɖe go. Eyae nye esi.’
So I was afraid and went and hid yoʋr talent in the ground. Behold, yoʋ have what is yoʋrs.’
26 “Aƒetɔ la ɖo eŋu nɛ kple dɔmedzoe be, ‘Dɔla vɔ̃ɖi kple kuviatɔe nènye; esi nènya be ame sesẽe menye, eye meŋea nu le afi si nyemeƒã nu ɖo o, eye meƒoa nu ƒu le afi si nyemewu nu ɖo o, eye esi nènya hã be mele viɖe bia ge ɖe ga la dzi la,
But his master answered him, ‘Yoʋ evil and lazy servant! Yoʋ knew, did yoʋ, that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed?
27 ele na wò be nàtsɔ ga la ada ɖe gadzraɖoƒe nam teti be wòahe viɖe vi aɖe vɛ nam.
Then yoʋ should have deposited my money with the bankers, and when I came I would have received what is mine with interest.
28 “‘Mixɔ ga la le ame vɔ̃ɖi sia si, eye miatsɔe na ame si si sidi akpe ewo le la,
Therefore take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten talents.
29 elabena ame si wɔ nu si wotsɔ nɛ ŋu dɔ nyuie la, woagatsɔ nu geɖe akpee nɛ, be nu nasɔ gbɔ ɖe esi fũu. Ke ame si meɖia anukware o la, woaxɔ nu suetɔ kekeake si le esi la hã le esi.
For everyone who has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
30 Woatsɔ dɔla ɖigbɔ̃ sia aƒu gbe ɖe viviti si do tsiɖitsiɖi la me, afi ma avifafa kple aɖukliɖuɖu anɔ.’
And throw that worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
31 “Ne Nye, Amegbetɔ Vi la meva le nye ŋutikɔkɔe me kple mawudɔlawo katã la, ekema manɔ anyi ɖe nye ŋutikɔkɔefiazikpui la dzi.
“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, he will sit down on his throne of glory.
32 Ekema dukɔ siwo katã le xexea me alo ame siwo katã le xexea me la aƒo ƒu ɖe ŋkunyeme, eye mama ameawo me ɖe akpa eve abe ale si alẽkplɔla maa alẽwo ɖa tso gbɔ̃wo gbɔe ene.
All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them from one another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
33 Mada alẽawo ɖe nye nuɖusime, eye gbɔ̃awo anɔ nye miame.
He will set the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Ekema Nye, Fia la, magblɔ na ame siwo le nye nuɖusime la be, ‘Fofonye ƒe ame yayrawo, miyi ɖe fiaɖuƒe si wodzra ɖo ɖi na mi tso xexea me ƒe gɔmedzedzea me ke la me,
Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 elabena esi dɔ wum la, miena nuɖuɖum, tsikɔ wum, eye miena tsim, medze mi abe amedzro ene, eye miexɔm atuu ɖe miaƒe aƒewo me.
For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in;
36 Awu menɔ ŋunye o, gake mietsɔ awu nam medo. Medze dɔ, eye mieva kpɔm ɖa. Menɔ gaxɔ me, eye mieɖi tsa va gbɔnye.’
I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you looked after me; I was in prison, and you came to visit me.’
37 “Ame dzɔdzɔewo abia be, ‘Aƒetɔ, ɣe ka ɣi míekpɔ wò dɔ nɔ wuwòm, eye míena nuɖuɖu wò? Alo tsikɔ nɔ wuwòm, eye míena tsi wò nèno kpɔ?
Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see yoʋ hungry and feed yoʋ, or thirsty and give yoʋ something to drink?
38 Ɣe ka ɣi nèva dze mí abe amedzro ene,
When did we see yoʋ as a stranger and take yoʋ in, or naked and clothe yoʋ?
39 eye gbe ka gbee míetsɔ awu na wò nèdo kpɔ? Ɣe ka ɣi wode wò gaxɔ me alo nedze dɔ, eye míeva kpɔ wò ɖa?’
When did we see yoʋ sick or in prison and come to visit yoʋ?’
40 “Eye Nye, Fia la, maɖo eŋu na wo be, ‘Vavã, mele egblɔm na mi bena, esi miewɔ nu siawo katã na nɔvinye sue siawo dometɔ aɖe ta la, nyee miewɔ wo na!’
The King will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
42 elabena esi dɔ wum la, miena nuɖuɖum o, tsikɔ wum miena tsim be mano o.
For I was hungry, and you did not give me anything to eat; I was thirsty, and you did not give me anything to drink;
43 Meva dze mi abe amedzro ene, gake miexɔm o, menɔ amama, gake mietsɔ awu nam be mado o, medze dɔ, gake mieva kpɔm ɖa o, wodem gaxɔ me, gake medzro mi be miava do gbe teti hã nam o.’
I was a stranger, and you did not take me in; I was naked, and you did not clothe me; I was sick and in prison, and you did not look after me.’
44 “Woawo hã aɖo eŋu nam be, ‘Aƒetɔ, gbe ka gbe míekpɔ wò be, dɔ le wuwòm, alo tsikɔ le wuwòm, eye míena nuɖuɖu alo tsi wò. Ɣe ka ɣi nèdze mía gbɔ, nèle amama, nèdze dɔ alo nèle gaxɔ me, eye míeva kpɔ wò ɖa alo kpe ɖe ŋuwò o mahã’?
Then they too will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see yoʋ hungry or thirsty or as a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not take care of yoʋ?’
45 “Ale maɖo eŋu na wo be, ‘Vavã, mele egblɔm na mi bena, esi miegbe be yewomawɔ nu siawo na nɔvinye sue siawo dometɔ ɖeka teti hã o la, nyee nye ema miewɔ wo na o.’
He will answer them, ‘Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, neither did you do it to me.’
46 “Ale ame siawo ayi ɖe fukpekpe mavɔ me. Ke ame dzɔdzɔewo ayi agbe mavɔ la me.” (aiōnios g166)
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” (aiōnios g166)
