< Mateo 21 >

1 Esi wòsusɔ vie Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo naɖo Yerusalem la, wova ɖo du aɖe si woyɔna be Betfage si le Amito la ŋu la me. Le afi sia la, Yesu dɔ eƒe nusrɔ̃la eve ɖo ɖe kɔƒe aɖe si le wo ŋgɔ la me.
And when they were near Jerusalem, and had come to Beth-phage, to the Mountain of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples,
2 Egblɔ na wo be, “Ne miege ɖe kɔƒea me ko la, miakpɔ tedzinɔ aɖe kple via le ka me. Mitu ka wo, eye miakplɔ wo vɛ.
Saying to them, Go into the little town in front of you, and straight away you will see an ass with a cord round her neck, and a young one with her; let them loose and come with them to me.
3 Ne ame aɖe bia gbe mi la, migblɔ nɛ ko be, ‘Aƒetɔ lae le wo hiãm, eye ne miegblɔ esia la, womagabia nya aɖeke mi o.’”
And if anyone says anything to you, you will say, The Lord has need of them; and straight away he will send them.
4 Wowɔ esia be woawu nyagblɔɖi si wogblɔ da ɖi le blema ke la nu be,
Now this took place so that these words of the prophet might come true,
5 “Migblɔ na Zion vinyɔnuvi la be, ‘Wò Fia la gbɔna gbɔwò, edo tedzi kple tedzivi si nye dɔwɔlã!’”
Say to the daughter of Zion, See, your King comes to you, gentle and seated on an ass, and on a young ass.
6 Nusrɔ̃la eveawo wɔ ɖe Yesu ƒe gbe dzi,
And the disciples went and did as Jesus had given them orders,
7 eye woyi ɖakplɔ tedziawo vɛ nɛ. Azɔ wotsɔ woƒe awuwo ɖo ɖe tedziawo dzi, eye Yesu nɔ wo dzi.
And got the ass and the young one, and put their clothing on them, and he took his seat on it.
8 Ame geɖewo ŋutɔ le ameha la dome tsɔ woƒe avɔwo kple awuwo ɖo ɖe mɔtata dzi le eŋgɔ; bubuwo hã ŋe deʋayawo kple atilɔwo ɖo ɖe eŋgɔ be wòazɔ wo dzi.
And all the people put their clothing down in the way; and others got branches from the trees, and put them down in the way.
9 Ameha la ƒe akpa aɖe dze eŋgɔ, eye bubu hã kplɔe ɖo kplikplikpli nɔ ɣli dom be, “Hosana na Fia David ƒe Vi la!” “Woayra ame si gbɔna le Aƒetɔ la ƒe ŋkɔ me!” “Hosana le dziƒo ʋĩi!”
And those who went before him, and those who came after, gave loud cries, saying, Glory to the Son of David: A blessing on him who comes in the name of the Lord: Glory in the highest.
10 Esi Yesu ge ɖe Yerusalem dua me la, zi gã aɖe ŋutɔ tɔ; ame sia ame kloe nɔ biabiam be, “Ame kae nye ame sia mahã?”
And when he came into Jerusalem, all the town was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 Ame siwo nɔ Yesu ŋu la ɖo eŋu be, “Eyae nye Yesu, Nyagblɔɖila si tso Nazaret le Galilea.”
And the people said, This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.
12 Azɔ Yesu yi gbedoxɔ la me, eye wònya nudzralawo do goe le teƒea. Etu afɔ gaɖɔlilawo ƒe kplɔ̃wo ƒu anyi, eye wòkaka akpakpadzralawo ƒe kplɔ̃wo hã.
And Jesus went into the Temple and sent out all who were trading there, overturning the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those trading in doves.
13 Egblɔ na wo be, “Woŋlɔ ɖi be, ‘Nye gbedoxɔ anye gbedoɖaƒe’, gake miawo la, mietsɔe wɔ ‘fiafitɔwo ƒe nɔƒee.’”
And he said to them, It is in the Writings, My house is to be named a house of prayer, but you are making it a hole of thieves.
14 Esi wònya ameawo vɔ la, ŋkuagbãtɔwo kple tekunɔwo va egbɔ, eye wòda gbe le wo ŋu le gbedoxɔ la me,
And the blind and the broken in body came to him in the Temple, and he made them well.
15 gake esi Yudatɔwo ƒe nunɔlagãwo kple sefialawo kpɔ nukunu dzɔatsu siwo wòwɔ, eye wose ɖevi suetɔ kekeake hã wònɔ ɣli dom le gbedoxɔ la me be, “Hosana na Fia David ƒe Vi la” la, dɔ me ve wo ŋutɔ.
But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the works of power which he did, and the children crying out in the Temple, Glory to the son of David, they were angry and said to him,
16 Wobiae be, “Èse nu si gblɔm ɖevi siawo lea?” Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ɛ̃, gake miexlẽe kpɔ be, “‘Èdzra kafukafu kple dodoɖedzi ɖe ɖeviwo kple vidzĩwo ƒe nu me’ oa?”
Have you any idea what these are saying? And Jesus said to them, Yes: have you not seen in the Writings, From the lips of children and babies at the breast you have made your praise complete?
17 Esia megbe la, etrɔ yi Betania, eye wòtsi afi ma dɔ.
And he went away from them, and went out of the town to Bethany, and was there for the night.
18 Esi ŋu ke, eye Yesu fɔ gayina Yerusalem le ŋdi me la, dɔ wui le mɔa dzi.
Now in the morning when he was coming back to the town, he had a desire for food.
19 Ekpɔ gboti aɖe le mɔa to, ale wòzɔ ɖe edzi be yeakpɔ kutsetse aɖe le edzi agbe aɖu mahã?
And seeing a fig-tree by the wayside, he came to it, and saw nothing on it but leaves only; and he said to it, Let there be no fruit from you from this time forward for ever. And straight away the fig-tree became dry and dead. (aiōn g165)
20 Nu sia wɔ nuku na nusrɔ̃lawo ŋutɔ, ale wobiae be, “Nu kae na be gboti la yrɔ enumake?”
And when the disciples saw it they were surprised, saying, How did the fig-tree become dry in so short a time?
21 Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Le nyateƒe me la, ne xɔse vavã le mia si, eye ɖikeke mele mia me o la, miate ŋu awɔ nu siawo, eye nu siwo miawɔ la akɔ wu esiwo mewɔ kura gɔ̃ hã. Miate ŋu agblɔ na to si kpɔm miele le afii kura gɔ̃ hã be, ho nàyi aɖadze atsiaƒu me, eye wòava eme enumake.
And Jesus in answer said to them, Truly I say to you, If you have faith, without doubting, not only may you do what has been done to the fig-tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and put into the sea, it will be done.
22 Nu sia nu si miabia to gbedodoɖa kple xɔse me la woana mi.”
And all things, whatever you make request for in prayer, having faith, you will get.
23 Yesu yi gbedoxɔ la me, eye esi wònɔ nu fiam la, nunɔlagãwo kple Yudatɔwo ƒe dumegãwo va egbɔ hebiae be, “Ŋusẽ kae nèkpɔ hafi le nu siawo wɔm, eye ame kae na ŋusẽ sia wò?”
And when he had come into the Temple, the chief priests and those in authority over the people came to him while he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you do these things? and who gave you this authority?
24 Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Nye hã mabia nya ɖeka mi. Ne mieɖo eŋuti nam la, ekema nye hã magblɔ afi si mekpɔ ŋusẽ tsoe hafi le nu siawo wɔm la na mi.
And Jesus said to them in answer, I will put one question to you, and if you give me the answer, I will say by what authority I do these things.
25 Yohanes ƒe mawutsidetaname ɖe, afi ka wòtso? Dziƒo wòtso loo alo amewo gbɔ wòtsoa?” Wodzro nya sia me le wo ɖokuiwo dome, eye wogblɔ be, “Ne míegblɔ be, ‘Etso dziƒo’ la, abia mí be, ‘Ekema nu ka ŋuti miexɔ edzi se o ɖo?’
The baptism of John, where did it come from? from heaven or from men? And they were reasoning among themselves, saying, If we say, From heaven; he will say to us, Why then did you not have faith in him?
26 Ke ne míegblɔ be, ‘Etso amewo gbɔ’ la, míele vɔvɔ̃m na nu si ameawo awɔ, elabena wo katã woxɔe se be Yohanes nye Nyagblɔɖila.”
But if we say, From men; we are in fear of the people, because all take John to be a prophet.
27 Ale woɖo nya la ŋu na Yesu be, “Míenya o.” Tete Yesu hã gblɔ na wo be, “Nye hã nyemagblɔ afi si mexɔ mɔɖeɖe tsoe hafi le nu siawo wɔm la na mi o.”
And they made answer and said, We have no idea. Then he said to them, And I will not say to you by what authority I do these things.
28 Azɔ Yesu yi edzi gblɔ be, “Aleke miekpɔ tso nya si gbɔna la ŋuti? Ŋutsu aɖe si si viŋutsu eve nɔ la gblɔ na tsitsitɔ be, ‘Vinye, yi nàwɔ dɔ le agble me nam egbe.’
But how does it seem to you? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go and do work today in the vine-garden.
29 “Ɖevi la ɖo eŋu be, ‘Nyemayi o.’ Ke emegbe la, etrɔ eƒe susu, eye wòyi agble la me ɖawɔ dɔ la.
And he said in answer, I will not: but later, changing his decision, he went.
30 “Fofoa va ɖevitɔ hã gbɔ eye wògblɔ nɛ be wòawɔ nenema. Ɖevi la ɖo eŋu nɛ be, ‘Papa mayi.’ Ke egbe meyi o.
And he came to the second and said the same. And he made answer and said, I go, sir: and went not.
31 “Le ɖevi eve siawo dome ɖe, ame kae wɔ fofoa ƒe gbe dzi?” Wogblɔ bena, “Gbãtɔ lae.” Azɔ Yesu ɖe lododo la gɔme na wo be, “Le nyateƒe me la, ame vɔ̃ɖiwo kple gbolowo kura age ɖe mawufiaɖuƒe la me hafi miawo miava yi,
Which of the two did his father's pleasure? They say, The first. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, that tax-farmers and loose women are going into the kingdom of God before you.
32 elabena Yohanes Mawutsidetanamela gblɔe na mi be, midzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ, eye miaku ɖe Mawu ŋu, gake mieɖo toe o. Ke ame vɔ̃ɖiwo kple gbolowo ɖo toe, eye wodzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ. Ke nu si vɔ̃ɖi wu lae nye be, esi miekpɔ be ame siawo dzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ hã la, metsɔ fu le lãme na mi gɔ̃ hã be miawo hã miadzudzɔ o, ke boŋ miesẽ dzi me goŋgoŋgoŋ.
For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you had no faith in him, but the tax-farmers and the loose women had faith in him: and you, when you saw it, did not even have regret for your sins, so as to have faith in him.
33 “Miɖo to miase lododo sia ɖa. Agbledela aɖe de waingble gã aɖe, eye wòtɔ kpɔ ƒo xlãe. Etu nɔƒe tɔxɛ na agble la ŋu dzɔla, eye wòtu wainfiaƒe hã. Azɔ etsɔ agblea de asi na agbledelawo be woawɔ dɔ le eme, ale be yeama viɖe si ado tso eme la kpli wo. Le esia wɔwɔ vɔ megbe la, agbletɔ la ŋutɔ dzo yi du bubu aɖe me.
Give ear to another story. A master of a house made a vine garden, and put a wall round it, and made a place for crushing out the wine, and made a tower, and let it out to field-workers, and went into another country.
34 “Esi nuŋeɣi ɖo la, eɖo dɔlawo ɖe agblea dzi kpɔlawo gbɔ be woaxɔ yeƒe viɖe vɛ na ye.
And when the time for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the workmen, to get the fruit.
35 Ke agbledzikpɔlawo dze ame dɔdɔawo dzi wu ɖeka, ƒo ɖeka vevie, eye woƒu kpe etɔ̃lia.
And the workmen made an attack on his servants, giving blows to one, putting another to death, and stoning another.
36 “Agbletɔ la gaɖo dɔla bubu geɖewo ɖa, gake wowɔ fu woawo hã abe ame dɔdɔ gbãtɔwo ene.
Again, he sent other servants more in number than the first: and they did the same to them.
37 Mlɔeba la, agbletɔ la dɔ Via ŋutsu ɖa kple susu sia be woade bubu eya ŋu, elabena enye via.
But after that he sent his son to them, saying, They will have respect for my son.
38 “Gake kpao! Esi agbledzikpɔla siawo kpɔ ŋutsuvia wògbɔna la, wogblɔ na wo nɔewo be, ‘Ɛhɛ̃, ame siae le fofoa ƒe dome nyi ge, ale be teƒe sia katã gbɔna etɔ zu ge. Mía tɔwo, mina míawui be agble sia nazu mía tɔ!’”
But when the workmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is he who will one day be the owner of the property; come, let us put him to death and take his heritage.
39 Ale wohe agbletɔ la ƒe vi la do goe le agble la me, eye wowui.
And they took him and, driving him out of the vine-garden, put him to death.
40 Yesu yi edzi bia wo be, “Nenye be agbletɔ la ŋutɔ gbɔ ɖe, nu ka miebu be awɔ agbledzikpɔla vɔ̃ɖi siawo?”
When, then, the lord of the vine-garden comes, what will he do to those workmen?
41 Yudatɔwo ƒe amegãwo ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ana woawu ame vɔ̃ɖi siawo, eye wòaxɔ agble la atsɔ na ame siwo awɔ eƒe gbe dzi la.”
They say to him, He will put those cruel men to a cruel death, and will let out the vine-garden to other workmen, who will give him the fruit when it is ready.
42 Yesu gabia wo be, “Miexlẽ le mawunya me kpɔ be, “‘Kpe si xɔtulawo gbe be yewomazã o lae va zua dzogoedzikpe na xɔ la oa? Esia menye nu wɔnuku aɖe si Aƒetɔ la wɔ oa’?
Jesus says to them, Did you never see in the Writings, The stone which the builders put on one side, the same has been made the chief stone of the building: this was the Lord's doing, and it is a wonder in our eyes?
43 “Nya si gblɔm mele na mi la gɔme kpuie koe nye be woaxɔ mawufiaɖuƒe la le mia si atsɔ na dukɔ bubu si atsɔ viɖe si nye Mawu tɔ la vɛ nɛ.
For this reason I say to you, The kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing the fruits of it.
44 Nyateƒe, nya sia ɖe wòle abe kpe ene; ame si akli kpe sia la, aŋe kluikluiklui, eye ame si dzi kpe sia age adze la, agbã gudugudu.”
Any man falling on this stone will be broken, but he on whom it comes down will be crushed to dust.
45 Yudatɔwo ƒe nunɔlagãwo kple Farisitɔwo kpɔe dze sii be yewoe nye agbledzikpɔla vɔ̃ɖi siwo ŋu Yesu ƒo nu le le lododo la me, eye yewo ŋuti wòle nya la gblɔm ɖo.
And when his stories came to the ears of the chief priests and the Pharisees, they saw that he was talking of them.
46 Esia ta wodi vevie be yewoawui, gake wonɔ vɔvɔ̃m be ne yewolée la, ameha la atɔ zi, elabena wonya be ameha la xɔe se be Yesu nye Nyagblɔɖila.
And though they had a desire to take him, they were in fear of the people, because in their eyes he was a prophet.
