< Mateo 10 >
1 Yesu yɔ eƒe nusrɔ̃la wuieveawo ƒo ƒu, eye wòna ŋusẽ wo be woanya gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃wo le amewo me, eye woada dɔ sia dɔ ƒomevi.
He called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.
2 Eƒe nusrɔ̃la wuieveawo ƒe ŋkɔwoe nye: Simɔn (ame si woyɔna hã be Petro) kple nɔvia Andrea, Yakobo kple nɔvia Yohanes, ame siwo nye Zebedeo ƒe viwo,
Now the names of the twelve emissaries are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; Andrew, his brother; Jacob the son of Zebedee; Yochanan, his brother;
3 Filipo kple Bartolomeo; Toma kple Mateo, si nye nudzɔla; Yakobo, Alfeo ƒe vi, kple Tadeo;
Philip; Bartholomew; Thomas; Matthew the tax collector; Jacob the son of Halfai; Labbai, who was also called Taddai;
4 Simɔn, ame si nye Zelotetɔ kple Yuda Iskariɔt, ame si va de Yesu asi.
Simon the Zealot; and Judah Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
5 Yesu dɔ eƒe nusrɔ̃la wuieveawo kple gbedeasi sia be, “Migayi Trɔ̃subɔlawo kple Samariatɔwo gbɔ o,
Yeshua sent these twelve out and commanded them, saying, “Don’t go amongst the Gentiles, and don’t enter into any city of the Samaritans.
6 ke boŋ miyi Israelvi siwo nye Mawu ƒe alẽ bubuwo la ko gbɔ.
Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 Miyi miagblɔ na wo be dziƒofiaɖuƒe la ɖo vɔ.
As you go, proclaim, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!’
8 Mida gbe le dɔnɔwo ŋu, migbɔ agbe ame kukuwo, mina anyidzelawo ŋuti nakɔ, eye minya gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃wo do goe le amewo me. Mina nu amewo faa abe ale si wona mi ene!
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.
9 “Migatsɔ ga aɖeke de miaƒe gabusuwo me na miaƒe mɔzɔzɔ o,
Don’t take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts.
10 migatsɔ mɔzɔkotoku kple awu bubuwo hã ɖe asi o, eye migatsɔ afɔkpa alo atizɔti teti hã o, elabena dɔwɔla dze eƒe nuɖuɖu.
Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff: for the labourer is worthy of his food.
11 Nenye be miege ɖe du alo kɔƒe aɖe me la, midi mawuvɔ̃la aɖe mianɔ eƒe aƒe me va se ɖe esime miadzo ayi du bubu me.
Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay there until you go on.
12 Nenye be miege ɖe aƒe aɖe me la, mido gbe na ameawo, eye miabia dzeƒe ɖokuibɔbɔtɔe.
As you enter into the household, greet it.
13 Nenye be aƒea me tɔwo nye mawuvɔ̃lawo vavã la, miyra wo, ke ne womele nenema o la, miaƒe ŋutifafa agagbugbɔ ava mia dzi.
If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Ne du aɖe me tɔwo alo aƒe aɖe me tɔwo mexɔ mi o, eye womeɖo to mi o la, miʋuʋu miaƒe afɔke ɖe teƒea ne miadzo.
Whoever doesn’t receive you or hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
15 Vavã mele egblɔm na mi be, anɔ bɔbɔe na Sodom kple Gomoranyigba le ʋɔnudrɔ̃gbe la wu ame siawo ƒomevi.
Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgement than for that city.
16 “Mele mia dɔm abe alẽwo ene ɖo ɖe amegaxi nyanyrawo dome. Midze aye abe dawo ene, eye midza abe akpakpawo ene.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep amongst wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
17 Mikpɔ mia ɖokuiwo dzi nyuie le amewo ŋuti! Elabena woalé mi, adrɔ̃ ʋɔnu mi, eye woaƒo mi le woƒe ƒuƒoƒewo.
But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.
Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
19 “Nenye be wolé mi, kplɔ mi yi ʋɔnu la, migatsi dzi le nu si miagblɔ ŋuti o, elabena woade nya si tututu wòle be miagblɔ la susu me na mi le ɣeyiɣi ma me.
But when they deliver you up, don’t be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.
20 Elabena menye miawo ŋutɔe aƒo nu o, ke boŋ mia Fofo si le dziƒo la ƒe Gbɔgbɔe le nu ƒo ge to mia dzi.
For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.
21 “Mele egblɔm na mi be nɔvi ahe nɔvi ade ku me, eye vi fofo ade eya ŋutɔ via asi. Ɖeviwo atsi tsitre ɖe wo dzilawo ŋuti, eye woahe wo ade ku me.
“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
22 Ame sia ame alé fu mi, elabena mienye tɔnyewo. Ke mia dometɔ siwo anɔ tsitre sesĩe va se ɖe nuwuwu la akpɔ ɖeɖe.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.
23 “Nenye be woti mia yome le du aɖe me la, misi yi du bubu me! Vavã mele egblɔm na mi bena, nye Amegbetɔ Vi, matrɔ agbɔ hafi miawu tsatsa le Israel duwo katã me nu.
But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next, for most certainly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel until the Son of Man has come.
24 Minyae be sukuvi menyaa nu wu eƒe nufiala o. Nenema ke subɔla mewua eƒe aƒetɔ o.
“A disciple is not above his rabbi, nor a servant above his lord.
25 Ne nya aɖe dzɔ ɖe nufiala aɖe dzi la, eƒe sukuvi la hã dzi wòdzɔ ɖo. Nenema ke ne nya aɖe dzɔ ɖe Aƒetɔ aɖe dzi la, eƒe subɔvi hã le eme, eye esi wònye be woyɔ nye, Aƒea dzi kpɔla be Belzebul ɖe, aleke woayɔ miawoe?
It is enough for the disciple that he be like his rabbi, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more those of his household!
Therefore don’t be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
27 “Nya siwo gblɔm mele na mi le viviti me la, migblɔ wo le kekeli me. Ne mede gbe to me na mi la, miɖe gbeƒãe le xɔwo tame.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 “Migavɔ̃ na ame siwo ate ŋu awu miaƒe ŋutilã, ke womate ŋu awu miaƒe gbɔgbɔ o la gbeɖe o! Mivɔ̃ Mawu ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ, ame si si ŋusẽ le be wòawu ŋutilã kple gbɔgbɔ la siaa le dzomavɔ me. (Geenna )
Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehinnom. (Geenna )
29 Nenie nye akpakpa ɖeka ƒe home? Menye sidi ɖeka pɛ koe oa? Ke wo dometɔ ɖeka pɛ hã meli si dzena ɖe anyigba dzi si mia Fofo la mekpɔna o.
“Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
30 Miaƒe taɖa katã gɔ̃ hã ƒe xexlẽme le nyanya me na Mawu,
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 eya ta migavɔ̃ o; miawo la, miexɔ asi na Mawu tsɔ wu atsutsrɔewo.
Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
32 “Ame sia ame si aʋu menye le dutoƒo la, nye hã maʋu eme le Fofo la gbɔ le dziƒo.
Everyone therefore who confesses me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven.
33 Ke ne ame aɖe gbe nu le gbɔnye le dutoƒo la, nye hã magbe nu le egbɔ le Fofonye gbɔ le dziƒo.
But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny him before my Father who is in heaven.
34 “Migabu xaa be meva be mahe ŋutifafa va anyigba dzi o. Nyemeva be mahe ŋutifafa vɛ o, ke boŋ yi metsɔ vɛ,
“Don’t think that I came to send peace on the earth. I didn’t come to send peace, but a sword.
35 elabena meva be mana, “‘ŋutsu natso ɖe fofoa ŋu, vinyɔnu natso ɖe dadaa ŋu, eye lɔ̃xoyɔvi natso ɖe lɔ̃xoa ŋu.
For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Ame ƒe futɔwo anye eya ŋutɔ ƒe aƒemetɔwo.’
A man’s foes will be those of his own household.
37 “Nenye be mielɔ̃ mia dadawo kple mia fofowo tsɔ wum la, ekema miedze be mianye tɔnyewo o, nenema ke ne mielɔ̃ mia vinyɔnuwo kple mia viŋutsuwo tsɔ wum la, miedze be mianye tɔnyewo o.
He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.
38 Ne ame aɖe gbe metsɔ eƒe atitsoga dze yonyeme o la, eya hã medze anye tɔnye o.
He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.
39 “Nenye be ame aɖe ku ɖe eƒe agbe ŋuti vevie la, abui, ke ne ame aɖe tsɔ eƒe agbe na ɖe tanye la, akpɔe le nuwuwua.
He who seeks his life will lose it; and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
40 “Ne ame aɖe xɔ mi nyuie la, nyee wòxɔ, eye ne ame aɖe xɔm la, exɔ Mawu si dɔm ɖa la.
“He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
41 Nenye be miexɔ Nyagblɔɖila aɖe be enye Mawu ƒe ame la, woana fetu si ƒomevi woana Nyagblɔɖila la ke miawo hã, eye nenye be miexɔ ame nyui siwo vɔ̃a Mawu le woƒe dzadzɛnyenye ta la, woana fetu si woana woawo hã mi.
He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. He who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 Ne ame aɖe ana tsi fafɛ kplu ɖeka ame gblɔe siawo dometɔ ɖeka, be enye nye nusrɔ̃la ta la, mele egblɔm na mi le nyateƒe me be mabu fetu si wòaxɔ la o.”
Whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink in the name of a disciple, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.”
