< Marko 3 >

1 Yesu gayi Yudatɔwo ƒe ƒuƒoƒe le Kapernaum, eye wòkpɔ ame aɖe si tsitsi lé asi na la le afi ma.
And he went again into the Synagogue; and there was a man there whose hand was dead.

And they were watching him to see if he would make him well on the Sabbath day, so that they might have something against him.
3 Yesu yɔ amea be neva tsi tsitre ɖe ameha la ŋkume.
And he said to the man, Get up and come forward.
4 Etrɔ ɖe wo gbɔ hebia wo be, “Enyo be woawɔ dɔmenyo le Dzudzɔgbe ŋkekewo dzia? Alo enye ŋkeke si dzi woawɔ nu nyui loo alo vɔ̃?” Ameawo katã zi kpi, eye womeɖo biabia siawo ƒe ɖeke ŋu nɛ o.
And he said to them, Is it right to do good on the Sabbath or to do evil? to give life or to put to death? But they said nothing.
5 Yesu tsa ŋku le ameawo dzi dzikutɔe, elabena eɖe fu na eƒe susu ŋutɔ be, womesea veve ɖe wo nɔewo ti o. Azɔ egblɔ na amea be, “Dzɔ wò asi.” Amea wɔe, eye enumake eƒe asi gaɖɔ ɖo.
And looking round on them he was angry, being sad because of their hard hearts; and he said to the man, Put out your hand. And he put it out, and his hand was made well.
6 Esi Farisitɔwo kpɔ esia la, wotso enumake ɖawɔ ɖoɖo kple Herod dunyaheha, si de Roma dziɖuɖu dzi la le ale si woawɔ awu Yesu la ŋuti.
And the Pharisees went out, and straight away made designs with the Herodians about how they might put him to death.
7 Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo ɖe wo ɖokui ɖe aga heyi ƒua ta, eye ameha gã aɖe dze wo yome tso Galilea.
And Jesus went away with his disciples to the sea, and a great number from Galilee came after him: and from Judaea,
8 Esi wose nu siwo katã Yesu nɔ wɔwɔm ta la, ame geɖe siwo tso Yudea, Yerusalem, Idumea kple nuto siwo le Yɔdan tɔsisi la ƒe go kemɛ kple Tiro kple Sidon nutowo me hã va.
And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and the other side of Jordan, and the country about Tyre and Sidon, a great number, hearing what great things he did, came to him.
9 Yesu vɔ̃ be ameawo ava mimi ye ɖo, eya ta ebia tso eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo si be woadi ʋu sue aɖe ada ɖi, ale be ne ameawo mimi ye ɖo fũu akpa la, yeage ɖe eme ado le wo dome,
And he made a request to his disciples to have a little boat ready for him, so that he might not be crushed by the people;
10 elabena eda gbe le dɔnɔ geɖewo ŋu gbe ma gbe ale gbegbe be dɔnɔ bubuwo ƒo zi ɖe eŋu fũu henɔ didim be yewoaka asi eŋu ko.
For he had made such a great number well that all those who were diseased were falling down before him for the purpose of touching him.
11 Nenye be ame siwo me gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃wo le la kpɔ Yesu la, wodzea anyi ɖe eƒe akɔme hedoa ɣli be, “Wòe nye Mawu ƒe Vi la,”
And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, went down before him, crying out, and saying, You are the Son of God.
12 gake Yesu dea se na wo vevie be womegana amewo nanya ame si yenye o.
And he gave them special orders not to say who he was.
13 Le nu siawo megbe la, Yesu yi to aɖe dzi, eye wòbia tso ame siwo wòtia la si be woava do go ye le afi ma, eye woyi.
And he went up into the mountain, and sent for those whom it was his pleasure to have with him: and they went to him.
14 Azɔ la, etia ame wuieve be woanye apostolowo, ame siwo anɔ eŋuti gbeawo tsyo gbe, eye wòadɔ wo woayi aɖagblɔ mawunya na amewo,
And he took twelve to be with him, so that he might send them out as preachers,

And give them the power of driving out evil spirits:
16 Ame wuieve siwo wòtia la ƒe ŋkɔwoe nye: Simɔn (ame si wòna ŋkɔe be Petro),
To Simon he gave the second name of Peter;
17 Yakobo kple nɔvia Yohanes, Zebedeo ƒe vi (siwo Yesu na ŋkɔe be, “dziɖegbe ƒe viwo”);
And to James, the son of Zebedee, and John, the brother of James, he gave the second name of Boanerges, which is, Sons of thunder:
18 Andrea, Filipo, Bartolomeo, Mateo, Toma, Yakobo, Alfeo ƒe vi, Tadeo, Simɔn, ame si nye Zelote dunyahehamenɔla,
And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James, the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
19 kple Yuda Iskariɔt, ame si va dee asi.
And Judas Iscariot, who was false to him.
20 Esi Yesu trɔ yi aƒe si me wòdze la, amehawo gade asi ƒuƒoƒo me ake, eye eteƒe medidi o la, aƒea me yɔ kple amewo. Ameawo sɔ gbɔ ale gbegbe be mekpɔ ɣeyiɣi ne wòaɖu nu gɔ̃ hã o.
And he went into a house. And the people came together again, so that they were not even able to take bread.
21 Esi eƒe ƒometɔwo se nya sia la, wova be yewoakplɔe ayi yewo gbɔe, elabena wobu be eƒe tagbɔe da.
And when his friends had news of it, they went out to get him, saying, He is off his head.

And the scribes who came down from Jerusalem, said, He has Beelzebub, and, By the ruler of evil spirits he sends evil spirits out of men.
23 Yesu yɔ ɖeklemiɖela siawo, hedo lo sia na wo be, “Aleke Satana agate ŋu atsi tsitre ɖe Satana ŋuti?
And turning to them, he said to them in the form of a story, How is it possible for Satan to put out Satan?
24 Fiaɖuƒe si ma ɖe eve la, mate ŋu anɔ te o, agbã godoo.
If there is division in a kingdom, that kingdom will come to destruction;
25 Aƒe si me mama kple dzrewɔwɔ le la hã mate ŋu anɔ te o.
And if there is division in a house, that house will come to destruction;
26 Ne Satana tsi tsitre ɖe eya ŋutɔ ɖokui ŋu la, ekema mate ŋu anɔ te o, ke boŋ atsrɔ̃.
And if Satan is at war with himself, and there is division in him, he will not keep his place but will come to an end.
27 Le nyateƒe me la, ame aɖeke mate ŋu age ɖe ŋusẽtɔ ƒe aƒe me, alɔ eƒe nunɔamesiwo adzoe o, negbe ɖeko wòabla ŋusẽtɔ ma gbã, ekema ate ŋu aha eƒe aƒemenuwo.
But no one is able to go into the house of the strong man and take his goods, without first putting cords round the strong man, and then he will take his goods.
28 Mele nyateƒe la gblɔm na mi be woatsɔ amewo ƒe nu vɔ̃wo kple woƒe busunyawo katã ake wo,
Truly, I say to you, The sons of men will have forgiveness for all their sins and for all the evil words they say:

But whoever says evil things against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness, but the evil he has done will be with him for ever: (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
30 Yesu gblɔ nya sia, elabena ameawo nɔ gbɔgblɔm be gbɔgbɔ vɔ̃ le eme.
Because they said, He has an unclean spirit.
31 Azɔ Yesu dada kple nɔviawo va aƒe si me wònɔ la godo, wodɔ ame aɖe be wòayɔe na wo.
And his mother and brothers came and were outside, and sent for him, requesting to see him.

And a great number were seated round him; and they said to him, See, your mother and your brothers are outside looking for you.
33 Yesu biae be, “Ame kae nye danye? Ame kawoe nye nɔvinye ŋutsuwo?”
And he said in answer, Who are my mother and my brothers?
34 Etsa ŋku le ame siwo ƒo xlãe la dome godoo, eye wògblɔ be, “Ame siawoe nye danye kple nɔvinye ŋutsuwo!
And looking round at those who were seated about him, he said, See, my mother and my brothers!
35 Ame sia ame si wɔa Mawu ƒe lɔlɔ̃nu la, enye nɔvinye ŋutsu, nɔvinye nyɔnu alo danye.”
Whoever does God's pleasure, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
