< Marko 2 >
After a fewe dayes, hee entred into Capernaum againe, and it was noysed that he was in the house.
Aƒea me yɔ ale gbegbe be nɔƒe aɖeke meganɔ ʋɔtrua nu hã o.
And anon, many gathered together, in so much that the places about the doore coulde not receiue any more and he preached the word vnto them.
3 Sẽe la, ŋutsu ene aɖewo kɔ lãmetututɔ aɖe ɖe aba dzi gbɔna Yesu gbɔe.
And there came vnto him, that brought one sicke of the palsie, borne of foure men.
4 Ke le amewo ƒe agbɔsɔsɔ ta la, womete ŋu ɖo egbɔ o. Le esia ta woyi ɖaɖe do ɖe xɔ si me Yesu nɔ la tame, heɖiɖi dɔnɔ la kple eƒe aba ɖe ekɔme.
And because they could not come neere vnto him for the multitude, they vncouered ye roofe of the house where hee was: and when they had broken it open, they let downe the bed, wherein the sicke of the palsie lay.
5 Yesu kpɔ be ŋutsu eneawo xɔe se vevie be yeate ŋu ayɔ dɔ wo nɔvi la, eya ta egblɔ na dɔnɔ la be, “Vinye, wotsɔ wò nu vɔ̃wo ke wò!”
Nowe when Iesus sawe their faith, he saide to the sicke of the palsie, Sonne, thy sinnes are forgiuen thee.
6 Ke Yudatɔwo ƒe agbalẽfiala siwo nɔ afi ma la gblɔ le woƒe dzi me be,
And there were certaine of the Scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
7 “Nu ka! Ame sia gblɔ busunya! Ɖe wòbu be Mawue yenyea? Menya be Mawu ɖeka hɔ̃ɔ koe ate ŋu atsɔ nu vɔ̃wo ake oa?”
Why doeth this man speake such blasphemies? who can forgiue sinnes, but God onely?
And immediatly when Iesus perceiued in his spirite, that thus they reasoned with themselues, he sayde vnto them, Why reason yee these things in your hearts?
9 Kae bɔbɔ wu, be woagblɔ na lãmetututɔ la be, ‘Wotsɔ wò nu vɔ̃wo ke wò loo alo woagblɔ nɛ be, “Tso, kɔ wò aba ne nàzɔ azɔli?”’
Whether is it easier to say to the sicke of the palsie, Thy sinnes are forgiuen thee? or to say, Arise, and take vp thy bed, and walke?
10 Be miadze sii be wona ŋusẽ Amegbetɔ Vi la be wòatsɔ nu vɔ̃ ake le anyigba dzi.” Egblɔ na lãmetututɔ la be,
But that ye may knowe, that the Sonne of man hath authoritie in earth to forgiue sinnes, (he sayde vnto the sicke of the palsie.)
11 “Mele egblɔm na wò be tsi tre! Ŋlɔ wò aba nàyi aƒe me!”
I say vnto thee, Arise and take vp thy bed, and get thee hence into thine owne house.
12 Ŋutsu la tso enumake, kɔ eƒe aba, eye wòzɔ to ameawo dome dzo. Ameawo katã ƒe nu ku. Wokafu Mawu, eye wogblɔ be, “Míekpɔ naneke teƒe alea kpɔ o!”
And by and by he arose, and tooke vp his bed, and went foorth before them all, in so much that they were all amased, and glorified God, saying, We neuer sawe such a thing.
13 Yesu gado go yi ƒuta, eye wòfia nu ameha si kplɔe ɖo la.
Then he went foorth againe towarde the sea, and all the people resorted vnto him, and he taught them.
14 Esi wòzɔ yina la, eva ke ɖe Levi, Alfeo ƒe vi ŋu wònɔ anyi ɖe dugadzɔƒe. Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Va dze yonyeme.” Levi tso enumake, eye wòdze Yesu yome.
And as Iesus passed by, hee sawe Leui the sonne of Alpheus sit at the receit of custome, and said vnto him, Folowe me. And he arose and followed him.
15 Le fiẽ me la, Levi kpe Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo be woava ɖu nu le yeƒe aƒe me. Dugadzɔlawo kple nu vɔ̃ wɔla geɖewo hã nɔ ame siwo wòkpe la dome, elabena ame siawo ƒomevi hã nɔ Yesu yome.
And it came to passe, as Iesus sate at table in his house, many Publicanes and sinners sate at table also with Iesus, and his disciples: for there were many that followed him.
And when the Scribes and Pharises sawe him eate with the Publicanes and sinners, they sayd vnto his disciples, Howe is it, that hee eateth and drinketh with Publicanes and sinners?
Menye ame dzɔdzɔewo ta meva ɖo o, ke boŋ nu vɔ̃ wɔlawo ta, be woadzudzɔ nu vɔ̃ wɔwɔ.”
Now when Iesus heard it, hee sayde vnto them, The whole haue no neede of the Physicion, but the sicke. I came not to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.
18 Yohanes ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo kple Farisitɔwo tsia nu dɔna ɣe aɖewo ɣi. Gbe ɖeka esi wogatsi nu dɔ alea la, ame aɖewo va Yesu gbɔ va bia nu si ta eya ƒe nusrɔ̃lawo metsia nu dɔna o ɖo.
And the disciples of Iohn, and the Pharises did fast, and came and saide vnto him, Why doe the disciples of Iohn, and of the Pharises fast, and thy disciples fast not?
19 Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ɖe wòle be ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ xɔlɔ̃wo natsi nu adɔ, agbe nuɖuɖu le eƒe srɔ̃ɖekplɔ̃ ŋua? Gbeɖe, zi ale si ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la le wo gbɔ ko la, womatsi nu adɔ o
And Iesus saide vnto them, Can the children of the marriage chamber fast, whiles the bridegrome is with them? as long as they haue the bridegrome with them, they cannot fast.
20 Gake ŋkeke aɖe li gbɔna, esi wole ŋugbetɔsrɔ̃ la kplɔ ge le wo gbɔ, ale woatsi nu adɔ.
But the daies will come, when the bridegrome shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast in those daies.
21 “Menyo be woatsɔ avɔnuɖeɖi yeye aka avɔ vuvu o, elabena ne wowɔe alea la, avɔ yeye la aho ɖa le teƒe la, eye teƒe si vuvu la alolo ɖe edzi wu.
Also no man soweth a piece of newe cloth in an olde garment: for els the newe piece that filled it vp, taketh away somewhat from the olde, and the breach is worse.
22 Womekɔa aha yeye hã ɖe lãgbalẽgolo xoxo me o, elabena ne wowɔ esia la, aha yeye la ƒe ŋusẽ ana be lãgbalẽgolo la nawó, eye aha la kple lãgbalẽgolo la katã dome agblẽ. Lãgbalẽgolo yeye mee wòle be woakɔ aha yeye ɖo.”
Likewise, no man putteth newe wine into old vessels: for els the new wine breaketh the vessels, and the wine runneth out, and the vessels are lost: but newe wine must be put into new vessels.
23 Gbe ɖeka le Dzudzɔgbe dzi esi Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo zɔ to bligble aɖe me yina la, nusrɔ̃lawo ŋe bli aɖewo heɖu.
And it came to passe as hee went through the corne on the Sabbath day, that his disciples, as they went on their way, began to plucke the eares of corne.
24 Farisitɔ aɖewo kpɔ wo, eye wobia Yesu be, “Nu ka ta wole nu si mele se nu o la wɔm le Dzudzɔgbe ŋkeke dzi ɖo?”
And the Pharises saide vnto him, Beholde, why doe they on the Sabbath day, that which is not lawfull?
25 Eɖo eŋu na wo be, “Ɖe miexlẽ nu si David kple eŋumewo wɔ, esi dɔ wu wo, eye woɖo xaxa me kpɔ oa?
And he saide to them, Haue yee neuer read what Dauid did when he had neede, and was an hungred, both he, and they that were with him?
26 Esi Abiata nye nunɔlagã la, David yi ɖe Mawu ƒe aƒe la me eye wòtsɔ abolo tɔxɛ si wotsɔ ɖo Mawu ŋkume la, eye eya kple etɔwo mae heɖu, togbɔ be mele se nu be ame aɖeke naɖu abolo sia o, negbe nunɔlawo ko.”
Howe he went into the house of God, in the daies of Abiathar the hie Priest, and did eat the shewe bread, which were not lawfull to eate, but for the Priests, and gaue also to them which were with him?
27 Egblɔ yi edzi be, “Dzudzɔgbe ŋkekea la, ɖe woɖoe anyi be wòaɖe vi na ame, menye be ame nazu kluvi na Dzudzɔgbe ŋkeke la o.
And hee sayde to them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath.
Wherefore the Sonne of man is Lord, euen of the Sabbath.
