< Marko 13 >
As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!”
2 Yesu ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Èkpɔ xɔ gã siawoa? Mele egblɔm na mi be wole wo gbã ge gudugudu, eye kpe ɖeka pɛ hã masusɔ ɖe nɔvia dzi o.”
Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down.”
Wobiae be,
As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately,
4 “Ɣe ka ɣie nu siawo le dzɔdzɔ ge? Míakpɔ dzesi aɖe do ŋgɔ si ana míanya be nu siawo le dzɔdzɔ gea?”
“Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?”
5 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Migana ame aɖeke nable mi ne miatra mɔ o.
Jesus, answering, began to tell them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
6 Ame geɖewo ava agblɔ na mi be yewoe nye Kristo la, eye woakplɔ ame geɖewo atra mɔe.
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and will lead many astray.
7 Ne miese aʋawɔwɔwo kple aʋaɣliwo la, ŋɔ megadzi mi o. Ele be nu siawo tɔgbi nava eme, gake nuwuwu la meɖo haɖe o.
“When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.
8 Dukɔ atsi tsitre ɖe dukɔ ŋu, eye fiaɖuƒe atsi tsitre ɖe fiaɖuƒe ŋu, anyigba aʋuʋu le teƒe geɖewo, gawu la, dɔ ato le teƒe aɖewo, gake esiawo katã anye nu siwo do ŋɔ na fukpekpe gã siwo le vava ge la ko.”
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.
9 Yesu yi edzi be, “Miawo minɔ ŋudzɔ vevie, elabena woahe mi ayi ʋɔnudrɔ̃ƒewo, eye woaƒo mi le ƒuƒoƒewo. Woahe mi ayi dukplɔlawo kple fiawo gbɔe le nye ŋkɔ la ta, be miegblɔ nyanyui la na wo.
“But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.
The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.
When they lead you away and deliver you up, do not be anxious beforehand or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.
12 Yesu yi edzi be, “Le ɣeyiɣi siawo me la, nɔvi ŋutɔ ahe nɔvia ade ku me. Fofowo ade woawo ŋutɔ ƒe viwo asi eye viwo hã ade woawo ŋutɔ fofowo asi be woawu.
“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.
13 Ke miawo la, ame sia ame alé fu mi elabena mienye tɔnyewo, gake meka ɖe edzi na mi be, ame siwo katã ado dzi va se ɖe nuwuwu la akpɔ ɖeɖe.
You will be hated by all men for my name’s sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.

“But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains,

16 Ame si le agble me la megatrɔ va tsɔ eƒe awu o.
Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.
17 “Baba na nyɔnu siwo fɔ fu le ŋkeke mawo me kple nyɔnu siwo si vi nonowo le.
But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!
18 Mido gbe ɖa vevie be miaƒe sisiɣi meganye vuvɔŋɔli me o,
Pray that your flight will not be in the winter.

For in those days there will be oppression, such as there has not been the like from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will be.
20 Nenye Mawu ɖe meto ŋkeke vɔ̃ɖi siawo ɖe eme o la, anye ne ame ɖeka pɛ teti hã masusɔ ɖe anyigba dzi o.
Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.
21 “Nenye be ame aɖe gblɔ na mi be, ‘Kristo lae nye esi alo eyae nye ekemɛ la,’ migake nu dee o
Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there!’ do not believe it.
22 elabena aʋatsokristotɔwo kple aʋatsonyagblɔɖilawo ava do, eye woawɔ nukunu gã siwo dzi Mawu ƒe ame tiatiawo gɔ̃ hã ate ŋu axɔ ase.
For false christs and false prophets will arise and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
23 Eya ta mikpɔ nyuie! Megblɔe na mi do ŋgɔ!
But you watch. “Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
But in those days, after that oppression, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light,

the stars will be falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken.
26 “Le ɣe ma ɣi me la, amewo akpɔ Amegbetɔ Vi la wòava le lilikpowo me kple ŋusẽ gã kple ŋutikɔkɔe.
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

Then he will send out his angels, and will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the sky.
28 “Mitsɔ gboti abe kpɔɖeŋu ene. Nenye be tsi ɖo eƒe alɔwo me eye aŋgba fɛ̃wo ke, eye aŋgbawo ŋutɔ de asi dodo me la; ekema mienya enumake be dzomeŋɔli ɖo.
“Now from the fig tree, learn this parable. When the branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near;
29 Eya ta ne miekpɔ be nu siwo katã megblɔ la le dzɔdzɔm la, minyae be nye vava zi evelia gogo eye nye afɔ le miaƒe agbowo nu.”
even so you also, when you see these things coming to pass, know that it is near, at the doors.
Most certainly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.
31 Dziƒo kple anyigba nu ava yi, gake nye nyawo nu mele yiyi ge akpɔ o.
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
“But of that day or that hour no one knows—not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
33 Mikpɔ nyuie, minɔ ŋudzɔ, elabena mienya ɣeyiɣi si me nu siawo ava eme o.
Watch, keep alert, and pray; for you do not know when the time is.
34 “Nye vava zi evelia anɔ abe ame aɖe si yi nugbe le anyigba didi aɖe dzi ene. Hafi wòadzo le aƒe ayi la, ede dɔ asi na eƒe dɔwɔla ɖe sia ɖe eye wògblɔ na eƒe agbonudzɔla be wòanɔ ŋudzɔ na yeƒe tɔtrɔ gbɔ.”
“It is like a man traveling to another country, having left his house and given authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and also commanded the doorkeeper to keep watch.
35 Eya ta minɔ ŋudzɔ elabena mienya ɣeyiɣi si aƒea tɔ atrɔ agbɔ o, eɖanye fiẽ alo zãtitina alo koklo ƒe atɔkuɣi alo ŋdi kanyaa o.
Watch therefore, for you do not know when the lord of the house is coming—whether at evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or in the morning;
36 Ale be ne eva kpata la, makpɔ mi mianɔ alɔ̃ dɔm o.
lest, coming suddenly, he might find you sleeping.
37 Nu si megblɔ na mi la, eya ke mele gbɔgblɔm na ame sia ame be, “Minɔ ŋudzɔ!”
What I tell you, I tell all: Watch!”
