< Marko 10 >
1 Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dzo le Kapernaum, eye woyi anyigbeme lɔƒo le Yudea nutowo me kple nuto si le Yɔdan ƒe ɣedzeƒe lɔƒo la me. Abe ale si wònɔna ɖaa ene la, amehawo va ƒo zi ɖe Yesu ŋu, eye wòfia nu wo abe ale si wòwɔnɛ ene.
He arose from there and came into the borders of Judea and beyond the Jordan. Multitudes came together to him again. As he usually did, he was again teaching them.
2 Farisitɔ aɖewo va egbɔ le afi sia be yewoadoe kpɔ ne yewoalée le nya aɖe me. Wobiae be, “Woɖe mɔ na ŋutsu be wòagbe srɔ̃a?”
Pharisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”
3 Yesu trɔ bia wo be, “Aleke Mose gblɔ tso srɔ̃gbegbe ŋuti?”
He answered, “What did Moses command you?”
4 Ameawo ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Mose ɖe mɔ be srɔ̃ŋutsu naŋlɔ agbalẽ na srɔ̃nyɔnu be yegbee.”
They said, “Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”
But Jesus said to them, “For your hardness of heart, he wrote you this commandment.
6 Ke tso nuwɔwɔ ƒe gɔmedzedze me ke la, Mawu wɔ ŋutsu kple nyɔnu.
But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife,
8 eye wo kple eve la woazu ŋutilã ɖeka. Eya ta womeganye ame eve o, ke boŋ wozu ɖeka.
and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Esia ta nu si ke Mawu bla la, ame aɖeke megama eme o.”
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”
In the house, his disciples asked him again about the same matter.
11 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Nenye be ŋutsu aɖe gbe srɔ̃a be yeaɖe bubu la, ewɔ ahasi ɖe nyɔnu la ŋu.
He said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
12 Nenema ke ne nyɔnu aɖe hã gbe srɔ̃a, eye wòɖaɖe ŋutsu bubu la, eya hã wɔ ahasi.”
If a woman herself divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
13 Gbe ɖeka la, ame aɖewo kplɔ wo viwo va Yesu gbɔ be wòayra wo. Ke nusrɔ̃lawo nya wo be womegaɖe fu na Aƒetɔ la o.
They were bringing to him little children, that he should touch them, but the disciples rebuked those who were bringing them.
14 Yesu kpɔ nu si nusrɔ̃lawo wɔ la, medzɔ dzi nɛ kura o. Egblɔ na nusrɔ̃lawo be, “Mina ɖeviwo nava gbɔnye, eye migaxe mɔ na wo o, elabena ame siawo ƒomevi tɔe nye mawufiaɖuƒe la!
But when Jesus saw it, he was moved with indignation and said to them, “Allow the little children to come to me! Do not forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these.
15 Le nyateƒe me, mele gblɔm na mi be ame si maxɔ mawufiaɖuƒe la abe ɖevi sue ene o la mage ɖe eme gbeɖe o.”
Most certainly I tell you, whoever will not receive God’s Kingdom like a little child, he will in no way enter into it.”
16 Azɔ exɔ ɖeviawo ɖe eƒe abɔwo dome, eye wòda asi ɖe wo dzi heyra wo.
He took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.
17 Esi Yesu kple eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo dzra ɖo vɔ be yewoayi teƒe aɖe la, ɖekakpui aɖe ƒu du va dze klo ɖe eƒe akɔme, eye wòbiae be, “Nufiala nyui, nu ka tututu wòle be mawɔ hafi ate ŋu anyi agbe mavɔ dome?” (aiōnios )
As he was going out into the way, one ran to him, knelt before him, and asked him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit consummate (aiōnios ) life?"
18 Yesu biae be, “Nu ka ta nèyɔm be ame nyui ɖo? Ame aɖeke menyo o, negbe Mawu ɖeka ko.
Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one—God.
You know the commandments: ‘Do not murder,’ ‘Do not commit adultery,’ ‘Do not steal,’ ‘Do not give false testimony,’ ‘Do not defraud,’ ‘Honor your father and mother.’”
20 Ɖekakpui la gblɔ na Yesu be, “Nufiala, mewɔ se siawo katã dzi tso nye ɖevime ke.”
He said to him, “Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”
21 Yesu kpɔe dũ eye wòlɔ̃e, gblɔ nɛ be, “Nu vevi ɖeka susɔ si mèwɔ o. Yi nàdzra wò nuwo katã, eye nàtsɔ ga la ana ame dahewo bena kesinɔnuwo nanɔ asiwò le dziƒo. Le esia megbe la, va, nàdze yonyeme.”
Jesus looking at him loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack. Go, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up the cross.”
22 Ɖekakpui la yrɔ esi wòse nya siawo; eƒe mo trɔ zi ɖeka eye wòdzo nublanuitɔe, elabena enye kesinɔtɔ gã aɖe.
But his face fell at that saying, and he went away sorrowful, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Esi wòdzo yina la, Yesu kpɔ eyome dũu eye wòtrɔ ɖe eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo ŋu gblɔ na wo be, “Asesẽ na kesinɔtɔwo ŋutɔ hafi woage ɖe mawufiaɖuƒe la me!”
Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it is for those who have riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!”
24 Nya siawo wɔ nuku na nusrɔ̃lawo ŋutɔ. Yesu gagblɔ be, “Vinyewo, asesẽ na ame siwo ɖoa ŋu ɖe woƒe kesinɔnuwo ŋu be woayi ɖe mawufiaɖuƒe la me!
The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus answered again, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter into God’s Kingdom!
25 Le nyateƒe me la, anɔ bɔbɔe na kposɔ be wòato tɔnui ƒe do me ado go tsɔ wu be kesinɔtɔ nage ɖe mawufiaɖuƒe la me.”
It is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
26 Nya siawo gawɔ nuku na nusrɔ̃lawo ŋutɔ. Ale wobiae be, “Ame kae akpɔ ɖeɖe?”
They were exceedingly astonished, saying to him, “Then who can be saved?”
Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
28 Petro gblɔ na Yesu be, “Míegblẽ nu sia nu ɖi hedze yowòme.”
Peter began to tell him, “Behold, we have left all and have followed you.”
29 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Nyateƒe gblɔm mele na mi be ame siwo katã gblẽ woƒe aƒewo, nɔviŋutsuwo kple nɔvinyɔnuwo, fofowo kple dadawo, viwo kple anyigbawo katã ɖi le lɔlɔ̃ si wotsɔ nam ta, eye be yewoakaka mawunya ta la,
Jesus said, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News,
but he will receive one hundred times more now in this time: houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and land, with persecutions; and in the age (aiōn ) to come, consummate (aiōnios ) life.
31 Ke ame siwo nye gbãtɔwo la, woazu mamlɛtɔwo eye ame siwo nye mamlɛtɔwo la woazu gbãtɔwo.”
But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
32 Esi wodze mɔ yina Yerusalem la, Yesu do ŋgɔ na eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo. Nusrɔ̃lawo ƒe mo wɔ yaa, eye vɔvɔ̃ ɖo ame siwo hã nɔ eyome. Yesu yɔ eƒe nusrɔ̃lawo ɖe kpɔe, eye wògagblɔ nu siwo katã ava dzɔ ɖe edzi ne woɖo Yerusalem la na wo:
They were on the way, going up to Jerusalem; and Jesus was going in front of them, and they were amazed; and those who followed were afraid. He again took the twelve, and began to tell them the things that were going to happen to him.
Ame siawo atso kufia nɛ, akplɔe ade asi na ame siwo menye Yudatɔwo o la be woawu.
“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.
They will mock him, spit on him, scourge him, and kill him. On the third day he will rise again.”
35 Azɔ Yakobo kple Yohanes, Zebedeo ƒe viwo va egbɔ, va do dalĩ nɛ be, “Aƒetɔ, míedi be nàwɔ nane na mí.”
James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came near to him, saying, “Teacher, we want you to do for us whatever we will ask.”
36 Yesu bia wo be, “Nu ka dim miele?”
He said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”
37 Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Míedi be míanɔ wò nuɖusime kple wò miame le wò fiaɖuƒe la me. Ame ɖeka nanɔ wò ɖusime eye ame evelia nanɔ wò miame.”
They said to him, “Grant to us that we may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left hand, in your glory.”
38 Yesu ɖo eŋu na wo be, “Mienya nu si biam miele o. Miate ŋu ano nu tso fukpekpe ƒe kplu veve si no ge mala la me, eye miate ŋu anɔ te ɖe fukpekpe ƒe tsideta si de ge wole ta nam la hã nua?”
But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”
39 Woɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Ɛ̃, míate ŋui.” Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Anɔ eme be miate ŋu ano nu tso kplu veve si me mele nu no ge le la me, eye miate ŋu axɔ tsideta veve si xɔ ge mala,
They said to him, “We are able.” Jesus said to them, “You shall indeed drink the cup that I drink, and you shall be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with;
but to sit at my right hand and at my left hand is not mine to give, but for whom it has been prepared.”
When the ten heard it, they began to be indignant toward James and John.
42 Le esia ta Yesu yɔ wo va eɖokui gbɔe hegblɔ na wo be, “Abe ale si mienya ene la, dukɔwo ƒe kplɔlawo ɖua aƒetɔ ɖe wo dzi, eye woƒe amegãwo kpɔa ŋusẽ ɖe wo dzi,
Jesus summoned them and said to them, “You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.
But it shall not be so among you, but whoever wants to become great among you shall be your servant.
44 eye ame si di be yeanye amewo katã ƒe tatɔ la, ele nɛ be wòanye woƒe kluvi,
Whoever of you wants to become first among you shall be bondservant of all.
45 elabena Amegbetɔ Vi la meva be ame aɖeke nasubɔ ye o. Ke boŋ be wòasubɔ amewo, eye be yeatsɔ yeƒe agbe ana ɖe ame geɖewo ƒe ɖeɖekpɔkpɔ ta.”
For the Son of Man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
46 Azɔ wova ɖo Yeriko. Emegbe la, esi woto dua me yina la, amewo nye zi bibibi kplɔ wo ɖo. Ŋkunɔ nubiala aɖe si ŋkɔe nye Bartimeo (Timeo ƒe vi la), nɔ anyi ɖe mɔto.
They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho with his disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.
47 Esi Bartimeo se be Yesu Nazaretitɔ la va yina la, edo ɣli sesĩe be, “Yesu David ƒe Vi, kpɔ nublanui nam!”
When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”
48 Ame siwo kplɔ Yesu ɖo la dometɔ aɖewo blu ɖe eta sesĩe be, “Ɖo to kaba!” Gake egado ɣli sesĩe wu tsã be, “Ao, David ƒe Vi, kpɔ nublanui nam.”
Many rebuked him, that he should be quiet, but he cried out much more, “You son of David, have mercy on me!”
49 Esi Yesu se eŋkɔ la, etɔ ɖe mɔƒoa me hegblɔ be, “Migblɔ nɛ be neva.” Ale wogblɔ nɛ be, “Wò dzi nedze eme. Yesu le yɔwòm, tso va.”
Jesus stood still and said, “Call him.” They called the blind man, saying to him, “Cheer up! Get up. He is calling you!”
50 Eɖe eƒe awu ƒu gbe, eye wòɖe abla dzidzɔtɔe va do ɖe Yesu gbɔ.
He, casting away his cloak, sprang up, and came to Jesus.
51 Yesu biae be, “Nu ka nèdi be mawɔ na ye?” Ŋkuagbãtɔ la ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Nufiala, medi be makpɔ nu.”
Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said to him, “Rabboni, that I may see again.”
52 Yesu gblɔ nɛ be, “Enyo, ava eme na wò. Wò xɔse da gbe le ŋuwò.” Ŋkunɔ la ƒe ŋkuwo ʋu enumake, eye wòde asi nukpɔkpɔ me. Ale wòdze Yesu yome kple dzidzɔ manyagblɔ aɖe.
Jesus said to him, “Go your way. Your faith has made you well.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the way.
