Malaki 4
1 Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la gblɔ be, “Kpɔ ɖa! Minɔ ŋudzɔ, ʋɔnudrɔ̃ŋkeke la gbɔna, ele bibim abe kpodzo ene. Dadalawo kple ame vɔ̃ɖiwo abi abe be ene eye abe ati ene la, woabi kple woƒe alɔwo kple kewo siaa.
For lo! the day, cometh, that burneth as a furnace, —and, all the proud and everyone who worketh lawlessness, shall be, stubble, and the day that cometh, shall consume them utterly, saith Yahweh of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 Ke mi ame siwo vɔ̃a nye ŋkɔ la, dzɔdzɔenyenye ƒe ɣe adze na mi eye dɔyɔyɔ ƒe ŋusẽ anɔ eƒe aʋalawo me. Miazɔ le ablɔɖe me, eye miati kpo akpɔ dzidzɔ abe nyitsui siwo do go tso nyikpo me le ƒoɖiɖi me ene.
So shall the sun of righteousness, arise to you who revere my Name, with healing in his wings, —and ye shall come forth and leap for joy like calves let loose from the stall;
3 Ekema gbe si gbe mawɔ esia la, mianye avuzi le ame vɔ̃ɖiwo dzi, eye woanɔ abe dzofi ene le miaƒe afɔ te.
And ye shall tread down the lawless, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet, —in the day when I am working with effect, saith Yahweh of hosts.
4 “Miɖo ŋui ne miawɔ ɖe se siwo katã mede na Israel dukɔ la to nye dɔla, Mose dzi le Horeb to dzi la dzi.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, —which I commanded him in Horeb, for all Israel, statutes and regulations.
5 “Kpɔ ɖa, maɖo Nyagblɔɖila Eliya ɖe mi hafi Yehowa ƒe ʋɔnudrɔ̃ŋkeke gã dziŋɔ la naɖo.
Lo! I am sending unto you Elijah the prophet, —before the coming of the great and awful day of Yahweh;
6 Atrɔ fofowo ƒe dziwo ɖe wo viwo ŋu eye viwo ƒe dziwo ɖe fofowo ŋu be nyemana fiƒode nava anyigba la dzi o.”
And he shall bring back the heart of the fathers unto the children, and the heart of the children unto their fathers, —lest I come, and smite the land, with utter destruction.
