< Luka 24 >
1 Le kɔsiɖa ƒe ŋkeke gbãtɔ ƒe ŋdi kanya la, nyɔnuawo tsɔ ami ʋeʋĩawo ɖe asi heva yɔdoa to,
Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
2 gake wokpɔe be womli kpe gã si wotsɔ tu yɔdoa nui la ɖa.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
3 Woge ɖe yɔdoa me, gake womekpɔ Aƒetɔ Yesu ƒe kukua o.
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 Nu sia wɔ moya na wo ŋutɔ eya ta wonɔ tsitre ɖe yɔdoa to henɔ ta me bum le nu si dzɔ ŋu, kasia ame eve siwo do awu ɣi siwo nɔ dzo dam miamiamia la va do ɖe wo dome.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:
5 Nyɔnuawo vɔ̃ ale gbegbe be wodze klo de mo to ɖe ameawo ŋkume. Ŋutsuawo bia wo be, “Nu ka ta mieva le ame gbagbe dim le ame kukuwo dome?
And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said to them, Why seek you the living among the dead?
6 Mele afi sia o; etsi tsitre tso ame kukuwo dome. Miɖo ŋku ale si wògblɔe na mi, esime wònɔ anyi kpli mi le Galilea la dzi be:
He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spoke to you when he was yet in Galilee,

Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 Nyɔnuawo ɖo ŋku eƒe nyawo dzi.
And they remembered his words,
9 Esime wogbɔ tso yɔdo la gbɔ la, woka nu siawo katã ta na ame wuiɖekɛawo kple ame bubuawo katã.
And returned from the sepulcher, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 Ke ame siwo gblɔ nu siawo na Apostoloawo la, woawoe nye Maria Magdalatɔ, Yohana kple Maria Yakobo dada kple nyɔnu bubu geɖewo.
It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things to the apostles.
11 Esi nusrɔ̃lawo se nyɔnuawo ƒe nyawo la, ɖeko wòɖi glitoto le woƒe towo me.
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 Ke Petro ʋu du yi yɔdoa to be yeakpɔ nu si dzɔ la ɖa. Ebɔbɔ do mo ɖe yɔdoa me, gake ameɖivɔ la ko wòkpɔ le anyigba. Ale wòtrɔ yi aƒe me henɔ nu si dzɔ la ŋuti bum vevie.
Then arose Peter, and ran to the sepulcher; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was come to pass.
13 Le gbe ma gbe ke la, Yesu yomenɔla eve nɔ mɔ zɔm yina kɔƒe aɖe si woyɔna be Emaus la me. Kɔƒe sia didi tso Yerusalem gbɔ abe kilomita wuiɖekɛ ene.
And, behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem about three score furlongs.
14 Wonɔ dze ɖom kple wo nɔewo tso nu siwo katã va dzɔ la ŋuti.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 Esi wonɔ dzea ɖom nɔ nu siawo me dzrom kple wo nɔewo la, Yesu ŋutɔ va tu wo, eye wòde asi zɔzɔme kpli wo.
And it came to pass, that, while they communed together and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 Gake womekpɔe dze si o, elabena wotsyɔ̃ nu woƒe ŋkuwo dzi.
But their eyes were held that they should not know him.
17 Yesu bia wo be, “Nya ka me dzrom miele vevie alea? Edze nam ƒãa be nya siwo me dzrom miele la nye nya gã aɖe ŋutɔ si dzɔ.” Mɔzɔla eveawo nɔ tsitre, eye wodzudzɔ nuƒoƒo. Blanui lé wo ŋutɔ.
And he said to them, What manner of communications are these that you have one to another, as you walk, and are sad?
18 Ke wo dometɔ ɖeka si ŋkɔe nye Kleopa la ɖo Yesu ƒe biabia ŋu be, “Ɖewohĩ wò ɖeka koe nye ame le Yerusalem si mese nya dziŋɔ si dzɔ le Kɔsiɖa si va yi me la o.”
And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said to him, Are you only a stranger in Jerusalem, and have not known the things which are come to pass there in these days?
19 Yesu gabiae be, “Nya kae dzɔ?” Ŋutsua ɖo eŋu nɛ be, “Nya siwo dzɔ ɖe Yesu, ŋutsu si tso Nazaret dzi lae mewɔnɛ. Ŋutsu sia nye nyagblɔɖila xɔŋkɔ aɖe si wɔ nu wɔnukuwo eye wòganye nufiala deŋgɔ aɖe si tɔgbi mebɔ o. Le nyateƒe me la, ede ŋgɔ ŋutɔ le Mawu kple amegbetɔwo siaa ŋkume.
And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
20 Ke nu kae va dzɔ, nunɔlagãwo kple míaƒe agbalẽfialawo lée hetsɔ de asi na Roma dziɖuɖua be woatso kufia nɛ. Ale Roma dziɖuɖua tso kufia nɛ, eye woklãe ɖe ati ŋu.
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him.

But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done.
22 Hekpe ɖe esia ŋuti la, míaƒe nyɔnuawo dometɔ aɖewo do voɖi na mí. Woyi yɔdoa to fɔŋli sia
Yes, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, which were early at the sepulcher;

And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive.
24 Mía tɔ aɖewo ƒu du yi yɔdoa to enumake, ke woawo hã kpɔ be yɔdoa le ƒuƒlu vavã abe ale si ame gbãtɔwo gblɔe ene.”
And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulcher, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Mi ame manyanuwo! Esesẽna na mi be miaxɔ nya siwo katã nyagblɔɖilawo gblɔ da ɖi la dzi ase!
Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Alo mele na Kristo be wòakpe fu siawo katã hafi age ɖe eƒe ŋutikɔkɔe la me o mahã?”
Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 Ale Yesu gblɔ Mawunya geɖewo na wo tso Mose dzi va se ɖe Nyagblɔɖila bubuawo katã dzi, eye wòɖe akpa siwo ku ɖe eya ŋutɔ ŋu la me na wo.
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 Le ɣeyiɣi sia me la, wogogo Emaus, kɔƒe si me woyina la. Yesu wɔ abe ɖe wòle eme tsom ene, eya ta
And they drew near to the village, where they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.
29 woɖe kuku nɛ be wòatsi yewo gbɔ adɔ ŋu nake, elabena zã do vɔ keŋ. Ale Yesu lɔ̃, eye wòyi woƒe aƒe me.
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 Esi wonɔ anyi be yewoaɖu nu la, eyra ɖe nuɖuɖua dzi, eye wòtsɔ abolo, ŋe eme hetsɔe na wo.
And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and broke, and gave to them.
31 Kasia, woƒe ŋkuwo ʋu, eye wokpɔe dze sii be eyae nye Yesu, eye enumake wòbu le wo gbɔ.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.
32 Ame eveawo de asi gbɔgblɔ me be, “Mèkpɔe be míaƒe dziwo lé dzo ŋutɔ le esime wònɔ mawunya la me ɖem na mí le mɔa dzi oa?”
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 Enumake wogatso dze mɔ ɖo ta Yerusalem, eye esi woɖo afi ma la, wokpɔ nusrɔ̃la wuiɖekɛawo kple Yesu yomedzela bubuwo.
And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Nusrɔ̃lawo gblɔ na wo be, “Aƒetɔ la tsi tsitre vavã! Eɖe eɖokui fia Simɔn!”
Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon.

And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.
36 Esi ŋutsuawo nɔ woƒe nuteƒekpɔkpɔwo gblɔm la, Yesu ŋutɔ va do ɖe wo dome hedo gbe na wo be, “Ŋutifafa na mi.”
And as they thus spoke, Jesus himself stood in the middle of them, and says to them, Peace be to you.
37 Dzika tso ameawo katã ƒo, eye wovɔ̃ ŋutɔŋutɔ, elabena wobu be ŋɔli kpɔm yewole.
But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 Yesu bia wo be, “Nu ka ta miele vɔvɔ̃m ɖo? Nu ka tae miele ɖi kem le miaƒe dziwo me, be nyee le mia dome?
And he said to them, Why are you troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see me have.
40 Esi wònɔ nua ƒom la, etsɔ eƒe asiwo do ɖe wo gbɔ be woakpɔ abi siwo gatagbadzɛwo de eŋu le eƒe asiƒome kple afɔƒome la ɖa.
And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet.

And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have you here any meat?

And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.
And he took it, and did eat before them.
44 Yesu gblɔ na wo be, “Esi menɔ anyi kpli mi le ŋkeke siwo va yi me ɖe, nyemegblɔe na mi be nu siwo woŋlɔ ɖe Mose ƒe se la kple Nyagblɔɖilawo kple Psalmowo me tso ŋunye la ava eme oa?”
And he said to them, These are the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
45 Ale wòʋu woƒe susuwo be woase mawunya siawo katã gɔme.
Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 Yesu yi edzi be, “Vavã, woŋlɔe ɖi tso gbe aɖe gbe ke be ele na Kristo la be wòakpe fu, eye wòaku, eye le ŋkeke etɔ̃a gbe la, wòagatsi tsitre tso ame kukuwo dome.
And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 Miawoe nye ɖasefowo na nu siawo katã.
And you are witnesses of these things.

And, behold, I send the promise of my Father on you: but tarry you in the city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high.
50 Yesu kplɔ nusrɔ̃lawo do go va se ɖe Betania, eye wòkɔ eƒe asiwo dzi heyra wo.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 Esi wònɔ wo yram la, wokɔe le nusrɔ̃lawo gbɔ heyi dziƒoe.
And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 Le esime wòdzo yina la, nusrɔ̃lawo dze klo, eye wosubɔe. Emegbe wotrɔ yi Yerusalem kple dzidzɔ manyagblɔ aɖe.
And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 Wonɔ Yerusalem gbedoxɔ la me gbe sia gbe henɔ Mawu kafum.
And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
